Suddenly finding herself not in the middle anymore, she whirled around to let whoever it was have it, stopping short when finding it was a teacher. ' I could have handled it. ' She muttered silently, glaring at whoever it was. She didn't know there was a new professor at the school, she wasn't that up with the gossip. In fact, most times Katya just ignored it completely. So imagine her surprise when some stranger just intervenes apparently on her behalf, like shes some damsel in distress about to get tromped by two dastardly, fighting boys. Honestly, the nerve! She could handle herself.

Well, if Bray didn't have a side of the story to tell (which he probably did, seeing as he had an opinion and wasn't a robot) then why was he complaining about Ash being one-sided and biased? My god! Still, it sounded as if he were in a bit of pain, and trying to brush it off to seem bigger somehow. Really, what was so bad about saying something hurt? Well, this was why she wasn't of the masculine gender. Drawing closer to him, she reached a gentle hand towards his jaw, inspecting where got hit, ' Are you alright? ' Kitty mouthed, not touching the wound in case it would hurt him further. Always the good girl, trying to help everyone out.[/color]

Will took in the look on the girl's face, and knew she wasn't happy about getting moved out the way. Still, it was better he got punched than another student.
Giving her a sympathetic look meaning he didn't mean to treat her like she was hopeless, he looked back at the boy with the now bruising jaw.
"That's gonna hurt later" he smiled, hoping he would seem friendly, which he was. Will always ended up in these situations and trying to resolve them, that was the Hufflepuff in him. Thinking about the houses and what they used to be like, he gave a laugh.
"You ravenclaw's seem to of grown a backbone over the years" he carried on laughing.
"Back in the day, I'd of never of seen two ravenclaws in a fight, never in my life" he said, his deep laugh still present. Putting a hand on the girl's shoulder who was now stood next to him, he looked at both of the boys in turn.
"Right then. I think we should go and get that seen to by good old Mr Nish don't you, Reed?" he smiled. Realising he hadn't introduced himself, he shook his head in a ditzy way.
"Oh I forgot, I'm the new Occlumency professor, Will Vaid"

Ash turned as another person stepped in, it was a teacher. He sighed wearily, "With all due respect sir, I see no reason to try and resolve our differences, or ignore them." He sighed again, "Bradyn and I are no longer friends, and we probably never will be again. The best I can hope for, is that one of these days we can speak to eachother civilly, without throwing punches at eachother." He gave Bradyn a small smile, it wasn't much, but it was reminder of a friendship lost, "See you around I guess." Then he made the hardest decision he'd made so far that year, he walked away from his former best friend....

Bradyn frowned slightly and turned his head away from Kitty's inspection. He didn't like her fretting over him like that, and it was also odd to have a girl other than his girl friend so close to his face like that. "I'm fine, I'm fine." He said with a glare towards Ashton as if to dare him to say that he wasn't fine.

His frown became a little more obvious as the teacher also took part in pointing out that his face was going to swell up and bruise something terrible. Oh, great, this is just turning out to be a wonderful day. Ignoring his comments about fighting Ravenclaws he wasn't going to mention that this was his second fight within a year. Apparently, he was a rough and tumble kind of guy. Oh wait, he usually lost.

At the mention of going to the Hospital Wing, his eyes widened slightly and he shook his head. "I'd... rather not." If he did, that'd be the second time he's gone there because he got into a fight and lost. Far too embarrassing of a blow to his pride. Bray'd rather go back and see his sister.. no wait, that would also be embarrassing. Maybe he would go into work and let Christi fret over him and attempt to treat him, but she's terrible at magic. In the end, there seemed to be no options that would salvage his ego and he sighed.

"Nice to meet you professor Vaid, I'm, as I guess you've already figured out, Bradyn Reed." He said, referring to him calling him by name earlier. Maybe his sister got to the man first? It wouldn't surprise him.
