"Yes I know mum...Alright I know!" Felicity cried back into the store. God her mother was so clingy sometimes. Her mother called something else from in the store, and Fay groaned and rolled her eyes. "I'm leaving now! Goodbye, thanks for the chocolate!" And with that, Fay escaped out of Honeydukes and shut the door behind her.
Today was another one of Felicity's 'chocolate run' days. She was running low on her supply of pick-me-ups, apparently Bray had taken some revenge and stolen more than half. He was such a fatty. A very vengeful fatty. But, the only thing Fay needed to do to restock was visit her dear old mumsy and just stand there and smile pretty. Her mom usually squealed and dumped chocolate into her arms. There were definitely perks to her mother's job.
Felicity shoved the chocolate into her coat pocket, but kept one bar out so she could munch on it as she walked. It was too tempting not to. Come on, who could last a whole day with a giant pocket full of chocolate and not eat one? Plus, thanks to her mother, the chocolate wouldn't melt in her pocket. Thank you oh wonderful magic.
Well, now that she had all the chocolate she needed and then some, what was she going to do for the rest of the day? Three Broomsticks was always an option, she could go see if anyone she knew was in there. But..that was so ordinary. Window shopping was another thing, but then she would be attacked by rabid girls because of all the sales and what not. Plus, Fay wasn't really that big on shopping anyway. It just got annoying after a while.
The last option on her mental list was just to find a nice bench to sit on and hope that something interesting would happen. With some thought, and a little glance toward the shops, she chose the last option. It was by far the safest for her. So, Felicity chose a bench further away from the busy shops and plopped down on it. Sitting was definitely the best choice.
A piece of chocolate disappeared into Felicity's mouth and she grinned, savoring the taste. She hardly cared if every girl in the world loved it. Fay could have at least some girly characteristics right? Not like it would kill her or anything.

((Mind if I join?))
Ash trudged along the streets of Hogsmeade, head down, hands buried in pockets. He sighed, it had been weeks since Fay and Bray had run off on him. Looking up he saw a familiar figure sitting on a bench. His stomach gave a lurch, it was Fay. He quietly approached. "Hi. Um, mind if I sit down?" he asked softly, rubbing the back of his neck. Aplogy and regret were clear in his sapphire eyes. Please don't let her be mad at me still he silently begged to himself.

Felicity leaned her head back on the bench and gazed up at the cloudy sky. The clouds were like a gray blanket over the sky, so it was impossible to pick out shapes in them. Oh well, it was still pretty anyway, just a different kind.
Footsteps neared where Fay was sitting, but she didn't move her head to see who it was. The voice was what caused her to stiffen though. It was Ash. Of course it was Ash. Felicity's luck really sucked.
"Why are you asking me? If anything I would ask the bench."
She glanced over at him, then away again. They probably weren't on the best terms at the moment, considering the fact that Fay blew up at him and the fact that she ignored his letter. That usually adds up to a very pissed off Fay.
(( Shoorrtt.. ))

Ash gave a small smile, and slowly sat down. He sat in silence for a few moments, then he sighed. "Fay, I'm sorry. You did everything you could to help me, I was just too blind to see it. But now I do, and I want to thank you for everything you've done for me." He paused to take a breath, "And also I want to apologize to you, I should have told you sooner that I like Cris. I don't know if I'm in love with him yet, but I do know that he makes me happy." He glanced up at Fay, searching her face for some hint of forgiveness. "When Laney kissed Maxi and Cris told me, that's when I realized that I had to move on. What Maxi and I had was great, but we can't go back to that. Things are too different between us now. I still love him, but not in that way. Not anymore." He smiled sadly, "I'm sorry Fay, I really am. I understand if you can't forgive me at the moment, I just hope that someday you can."

If this silence went on any longer Felicity would just have to get up and leave. It was so awkward, but Fay wasn't going to say anything. He was the one who came and sat by her, he should start up a conversation or something.
Fay listened, but didn't moved from her spot. The only real thing she did was blink, and breathe. She could feel his eyes on her face, like he was searching for something. For what, she wasn't exactly sure. Probably for some sign that she had actually been listening.
"It's not going to be like before, I hope you know." Felicity leaned forward and brushed her hair out of her eyes. She looked back over to Ash, her gaze not as hard as before. "What you said hurt, so much, and I can't just take that with a smile and think that everything will be alright. I would just be fooling myself." She sighed and ran her hand through her hair. "I always worried so much about my friends, I had forgotten what I was doing to myself. I have to start taking care of myself Ash."

Ash sighed, "I know." he replied, voice cracking slightly. He took a deep breath to calm himself, "I know it won't be the same, and I know I hurt you. I just don't want us finishing school hating each other."

Felicity had to force herself not to wince as his voice broke. Cris was probably taking Fay's place as his support system, that would make sense. But even that boy didn't know the extent of how Fay and Ash's relationship used to be.
"I don't hate you."
Fay blinked and looked back over at Ash. "I don't hate anyone. It's just not that simple." She turned back to watching people cross in front of them, letting silence fall between them again.
It was impossible for Fay to just hate people. Sure, she disliked people, but hate was loathing a person's entire being. She didn't like to think about it. It seemed evil to her for some reason.

Ash sighed, "Will we ever be friends again?" he asked quietly.
((Gah, my muse ran off!))

Felicity shrugged lightly. "We could. Depends on how everything plays out." She leaned back against the bench and toyed with her sleeve for a moment.
"But, I'll never hate you. Remember that alright?"
(My post is so short I could shoot myself D: )

Ash smiled, "Well, let's hope that it all plays out for the best." He looked around, he streets were filled with busy shoppers, the air was filled with voices, it was just a normal day. He looked back over and smiled, "So, what have you been up to lately?"

"Mmhm."
Felicity tapped her chin, as she usually did, and pursed her lips. "Well, I broke it off with Scott, because I never see him anymore. Ever since them I haven't seen him. I think he left the school." She shrugged lightly, even though the fact still hurt her, only slightly though.
"And, well, it seems I've found myself acquainted with the Gryffindor populars. Who would've thought."

Ash placed a hand on Fay's shoulder, "I'm sorry. Hopefully you ended on better terms than Maxi and I did." He gave a small smirk, "Wanna go back to the castle and terrorize some first years with me?" he asked, trying to lighten up the situation.

[mind if I cut in?]
"Terrorize who?" Ellie said, bouncing up behind Ash, a large smile on her face. She had come to Hogsmeade, running out of parchment at a crucial moment in which essays needed finishing. She had spotted Fay's dark hair and out of the crowd and she had pushed her way through, over a couple old wizard walking by, tripping her.
"Not really my thing..but I'll follow along." She said sarcastically. She doubted Fay would actually go off and wreck havoc on the lives of first years, but then again, she didn't really know Fay all that well. They were great friends, but surprisingly, they hadn't hung out that much.
"Ash, right?" She said, smiling at the boy. She had never been introduced to Ash, but had seen him around. I t was hard not to spot him when you hung out with Fay and Bray a lot. Ash never seemed to far. Lately, Ellie hadn't seen him with them, but she hadn't really been looking. She smiled in his direction. Make new friends....

Ash glaned up at the sound of a voice, he smiled at the girl who had spoken. "Yeah. You must be Ellie?"

"Ellliiiieeee!"
Felicity sang as she jumped off the bench and skipped over to the girl. Fay layed one arm across the girl's shoulders. "I'll save time. Ellie, this is Ashton, Ash really but you can call him whatever. And Ashy, this is Ellie." She gestured between the two as she introduced them.
"Ash wanted to go scare the pants off some first years." Fay glared at him. "Which is very rude, might I add, because half of them have already been scared enough." She stuck her tongue out at him.
Fay grabbed Ellie's hand and led her back over to the bench. She plopped down next to Ash and patted the spot next to her. Yay for long benches! "So what brings you here El?"
