The common room had become to crowded and happy for Dahlia. She had been attempting to study, but it was impossible with the amount of noise that bounced off the stone walls of the room in which the Slytherins gathered. She had groaned and slammed her book, shooting a glare at a loud third year, who shut her mouth and looked away quickly. Dahlia shook her head and got up out of the large dark green chair she had been lounging in.
Zipping up the black hoodie she had been wearing, Dahlia stepped out of the portrait hole and start walking briskly, yet quietly down he hall, her head still pounding with the noise she had left behind. Dahlia was not in the mood for anyone. She wasn't even in the hexing mood. She just wanted to be left to her own thoughts, inside her own brain.
She rounded the corner and caught a glimpse of some rounding the corner. Dahlia groaned. She didn't not want to be bothered. She would ignore them, even if they were a first year Hufflepuff, which were so much fun to terrorize. No. Dahlia just wanted to get to the courtyard and sit, watching the moon high in the sky, cold wind in her hair. Silence.
Dahlia rounded the corner and noticed that whoever had been in front of her was now gone. Dahlia's senses tingled. She sighed silently. How annoying, she thought, and she lightly held her wand at her side, ready to go at a moment's notice.

Dahlia walked, her face remainin stone, no emotion. She hadn't expected to loose track of the person, it was most unlike her. However, in her mood to be singular, Dahlia had not been as observant as she should have been.
The dark corridor loomed out in front of her. Though Dahlia could expect something to come jumping out at her, she neither slowed her walk, nor cared. Scared wasn't an emotion that you could not apply to Dahlia. She had never been scared before, and never would be scared. It was an emotion. Dahlia tried to block strong, weak emotions.
Dahlia saw the girl step out from the darkness. Stopping, she raised her wand slowly before she could see the figure. Wand twirling in her hand, Dahlia recognized Morgana. She was one of the few Slytherins who still had the right idea about how the wizarding world should be run. Not to say they were friends, but they were "friendly" enough.
"Morgana." she said, nodding her head, and lower her wand, but not putting it away. "The common room became a little too rowdy for me." Dahlia said, her dark eyes, fixed on her fellow Slytherin. "Out to find some prey?" Dahlia asked, watching Morgana play with the spider, somewhat amused.

"I see." Dahlia said with a smirk. "Why else would you be hiding in a corridor." She said. Dahlia felt as though sneak attacks were worthless. It was no fun if their wasn't a challenge. Though, she gave brownie points to Morgana for the sneak attack method. It just wasn't Dahlia's style. She hunted, rather than waited for her prey like the spider that was now crawling up the wall.
The other Slytherin put her wand away. Apparently she seemed comfortable with her own house mate. Dahlia rose an eyebrow at the action, and then place her wand in her own hoodie pocket. Dahlia had actually felt more comfortable with her wand out, not trusting anyone.
"They weren't worth the effort. Beside, Erys was down there. The queen would not have appreciated the interruption." Dahlia grimaced. She did not fear Erys Grace, but she knew he place. The seventh year triumphed as being the Slytherin queen, a place Dahlia was striving to get to, if only Erys would leave already. But now, loyalty, even in its fake form, was worth something.
"They think they're so brave coming down into the dungeons." Dahlia said, leaning up against the cold stone wall to her left, keeping her eyes on Morgana. "It is almost diner time." She said, "The great hall is probably full of your targets."

Dahlia laughed at Morgana's outburst about Erys. "I see the little queen has gotten to your nerves Morgana." Dahlia said with a smirk. "You shouldn't let her get to you. She is nothing." Dahlia said, but thinking: She is nothing more than a couple of hard hitting hexes. But she wasn't going to let Morgana know that dahlia tried to stay clear of the seventh year.
"As for the other houses, I agree with you." She said, moving a soft wave from her face. "They aren't worth the effort. I stick to my own kind, as you do." Dahlia's face became dark. "It is a pity there are so few of us left who know what truly matters in blood and loyalty." She said with a hiss.
Dahlia laughed softly. "Indeed. You do seem to pick at random. Me, I save my best for those who really bug me. Hufflepuffs." Dahlia didn't care who you were, if you wore a yellow tie and sported a badger on your robes, you were cattle.

Dahlia growled, her eyes narrowed as Morgana could even suggest that she would follow in Erys footsteps. It was true that Dahlia wanted with all her heart to be Slytherin's queen, but she would never stoop so low as to hang out with the people Erys did. "Never." Dahlia growled, folding her arms. "There is a fine line to using people to get what you want, and actually befriending them. The later of the two is despicable."
Dahlia saw the spider crawling down on the floor next to her. Angry as she was, she picked up her foot and smashed the arachnid, the grimace of a foul taste still on her face.
Dahlia laughed. "I agree. Slytherin is pathetic. Well, most of them." Dahlia said, catching Morgana's eye. "I'll even admit that some of the Ravenclaw's have more of a clue then some in our own little house. Its still no excuse."
Dahlia raise her brow as a young Gryffindor scooted passed the girls looking scared, walking much faster than normal. Dahlia laughed and licked her lips. "What exactly was your plan should it have been a small Hufflepuff that passed your way instead of me?" Dahlia said, interested in Morgana's thoughts on torture.

Dahlia took a deep breath. She had let Morgana anger her. But it was true. It mad Dahlia seethe to think that anyone could put her in a category with those 'others'. She was nothing like them. She was so much better than they would ever be. But Dahlia saw the joy Morgana got out of her little outburst, and calmed herself. She didn't enjoy giving anyone the chance to make a fool out of her.
Dahlia smirked. "Oh, where's the fun in that." She asked. Killing was so boring. Of course, when the garbage had to be taken out... However, Dahlia took a different approach. "Don't you like to play with them a little? Make them writhe in pain, beg for mercy." Dahlia got her best rush out of hearing them plead and beg. It made her smile that she had control over them. "You are much to impulsive Morgana, it might get you into trouble one day." Dahlia said through her teeth, her smirk still present on her face.
