Alexa was unconscious and she had been since coming from the forest. Something or someone had attacked her and caused traumatic internal injuries. Being rushed into the hospital wing with Cristian, Ash and Daniel Hubbles along side her...

Ash hurried along beside Cris and Professor Hubbles, mind racing. Merlin, why did I have to be such an idiot!? I knew how dangerous the forest was! he berated himself as he looked down at Alexa's stilll form. He looked over at Cris, "I'm sorry." he said quietly. He looked at Professor Hubbles, "Will she be okay?"
(sorry, kinda short))

Cris was speechless. All he did was stay near Alexa's still head and cry silently. The tears kept flowing, and Cristian could feel the worst was going to happen. Ash apologized and Cris hung his head. "It's not your fault" he replied quietly.

Ash sighed, "Cris, I was the one who decided we should gallivanting off into the forest, when I knew how dangerous it was. Alexa didn't."

For the school, it had been an uncharacteristically quiet day. Archi and Carrieanne had actually had time to talk and relax. Tea was also no object and Archi had been able to drink a whole cup in one sit-down before another injured person came in. Now the day was waining and he was relaxing. Carrieanne had gone into the office, Archi watching her go in with the smallest hint of a smile on his face.
The healer's attention was quickly drawn away from where she had been to the two large double doors that were, as always, standing wide open. A group of four people walked in, one it seemed unconscious and another, a boy in fact, was crying. Archi jumped up from his seat at the desk and hurried around the table. Pointing to the nearest bed, Archi bark, "put her here."
Listening to the brief exchange of words, Archi's intent from slithered onto his face as he pulled out his wand and gave it a brief wave. The step ladder he had taken to using floated over and rested on the floor next to the bed where the girl was now laying. Archi climbed the two steps and looked down at her. He put a hand on her forhead, feeling that it was hot and damp.
"Professor," Archi greeted professor Hubbles. "What happened here?" Archi asked, looking from the professor to the two students. He could tell by the one boy's tear covered face that it was something fatal but he needed to know to help. "What has made this girl like this? Mr Laurent?" Archi inquired by that young man because he remembered him and familiarity was always better for the short man.

(How did I not know this thread existed??)
Everything had seen such a blur, it seemed only seconds ago that Dan Hubbles had been patrolling the castle grounds, now he was dashing up to the Hospital Wing with an unconscious Gryffindor. Luckily the doors were open as it allowed Dan to hurry in, the unconscious girl in his arms and the two Ravenclaw’s either side of him. Ashton asked if she would be ok and Dan dared not answer, he was not medical expert but things did not seem normal…a healthy teenager did not normally collapse in a forest.
While Ashton and Cris continued to play the blame game, trying to convince the other it was not their fault Dan heard the rough voice of Archibald Nish sound out telling him where to place the girl. As carefully as he could Dan lowered her onto the bed making sure her head was well supported by the pillow and that even in her unconscious state she was comfortable. Alexa may not have been a Hufflepuff but she was a student of the school as so as a professor it was his job to protect them.
“Mr Laurent called me to the forest and lead me to Miss Prince who was unconscious on the floor. The boys claim to have seen nothing and I could see no tracks near by…but then the forest is dark I could have overlooked something.”
Dan took a few steps back and ran a hand nervously through his hair as he watched Archi get on with his stuff and start to tend to the girl. For some reason Dan was starting to feel slightly responsible for the state the girl was in, he was powerless, useless and he hated that feeling.

Cristian stepped backwards so Mr.Nish could help his sister. Putting his hand to his mouth, he nervously bit down on his nails and dark frantic thoughts swept through his mind. Why was everything being taken away from him all over again? Surely someone above was playing a cruel joke on him and his entire life was just for someone elses cruel pleasure.
He didn't speak. He couldn't. No words could enter his mouth or leave. All he could do was look at Alexa's lifeless body on the bed. Her breathing was shallow, and Cristian knew things weren't going to get better. He began to shake in fear and knew he was helpless. Catching a swift glimpse of Professor Hubbles, it was clear he felt helpless too.
Removing his hand from his mouth, he managed to squeeze out some pleading words. "Mr Nish...Please" What he just said didn't really have any effect on what was happening, but he hoped they would.

Archibald was becoming slightly frantic. The girl's heart was slowing, her skin was hot and wet to the touch, she was clearly paler then she should have been. Something was very very wrong. There were no external wounds. Archi lifted both her arms, searching them for scares, anything that might give away the cause of such an affliction. Lifting her head gently and examining her neck, Archi found nothing. Nothing at all.
Listening to the Professor, locking his sea green eyes on the man who seemed as worried as the boy next to him. The boy pleaded with him and Archi felt a pang in his chest. He had to find a way to help this girl. Flicking his wand again the chair behind the boy moved into the back of his knees, knocking him over into it. Archi knew that look and that he would have to be seated.
Rushing down his step ladder, Archi went to the large cabinet, the step ladder following him. Quickly climbing up it, Archibald pulled open the glass doors and removed a number of different vials. Down the steps, cabinet closed behind him, he rushed to the bed side again, setting the vials and bottle down. Taking a long, thin, pink vial and uncorked it. Lifting the girls head once he was up the step ladder again, Archi carefully poured four drops into the girl's mouth. Putting her head down and the vial, Archi waited.
"Boys," he said sternly, "what happened? Do you know anything that may help?"

While Carrieanne walked into the office, she was busy putting paperwork away and pulling out extra vials to put in the storage cabinet in the wing. She thought about the time that she and Archi spent together and how things were going between them. Her thoughts reminded her of the night that she was in her room and Archi had stopped by to check on her after Dan had done what he did. To her stupidity, she couldn't believe she fell for it. For what he did. She decided that she would forget about it and she has for the most part.
Startled out of her thoughts by Archi talking to what sounded like a couple of kids and an adult. Curiously, she walked out of the office with a load of vials and back into the wing toward the cabinet. Seeing that the cabinet was already open, she quickly placed the vials in their proper place and turned toward the bed to see what was going on. Hearing Archi ask what happened, she heard Dan's voice speak out. Carrieanne felt her stomach tie into knots, but she couldn't allow it not to do her job. Walking over as she listened to what was being said, and with Archi demanding to know what happen and that any information would help so he would know what to do.
Carrieanne walked up and stood beside Archi asking "Need any assistance?" she glanced up at Dan for a moment, then quickly looked back down at the unconcious female on the bed. "Boys, if you don't tell us what happen, she could very well die, do you want that on your concious?" she asked looking up at them. Running her fingers along the girls jawline, Carrieanne checked the girls heart rate which was slowly fading, she looked toward Archi and sighed.

Cristian just watched Alexa, and wasn't aware of any of his surrounds but her. When he got knocked into sitting down in a chair, he was startled. He leant forward to get a better look at Alexa. The healer's assistant then came in and started asking questions.
"Urm, I don't know. We didn't see anything" Cristian stuttered. He couldn't help, but he didn't want to leave, however, he slid his chair back a little so the healer's could help her without him being in the way.

Clutching the vial in his hand, Archibald watched the girl lying on the bed with acute attention. He knew that the potion he had given her wouldn't have an effect but when she began to writhe slightly worry set into the healer's face, creasing his brow. He didn't like what he saw, clearly, and it was certain that he knew as much as the three with the girl. This was the most worrying of all.
Taking a deep breath, Nish put the vial down on the bed side table as Carrie came over to them. He watched her for a moment, the tall elegant woman practically gliding to them. Archibald quickly looked back to the girl, holding her shoulder down until the writhing for the potion subsided. It was not a particularly good test but it told him enough to worry him and not even the dulcet tones of Carrieanne's voice could ease his worry.
"It seems," Archi said softly, leaning close to Carrie, "that Dark Magic has come into play here. I could not say what but it doesn't look good." A small hand ran over his forehead as he looked at the girl, beads of sweat dancing on her skin. So young and already experienced so much, it did not seem right, nor was it right that he couldn't do anything about it. But that was lift and Archi knew it all too well.
