When Jac reached for Leon's hand, her fingers smoothly entwined with his, just like they used to. Giving a nervous laugh, he smiled at her. "Yeah, I remember" he remembered, and what she just said was cute. He gave her hand a little squeeze for reassurance. When Jac revealed she liked him to, he smiled, but was confused. "Y-you do?" he said, frowning a little. He didn't know what else to say, he decided to leave it in her hands now. He just hoped he hadn't lost her as a friend.

Jac's heart was racing in her chest. She couldn't remember the last time it had beat so fast and so loudly in her head. Perhaps it was in the forest with the centaur where that witch used the septumsempra curse on her leg, perhaps it wasn't. Perhaps this was the first time in Jac's life that she felt anxious, excited, scared, and curious all at the same time.
Jac could feel her cheeks was almost as red as her hair. She smiled at Leon, knowing that she had known all along how she felt about him but that it took him saying it to wake her to the reality. Not letting go of his hand, Jac squeezed back, her green eyes fixed on Leon's. "I really really do," she said softly.
She took a step towards Leon, still looking up to him. They must have been a sight, she short red head and the tall boy. "So," she said slowly, "now that we've got that done what you going to do about it?" She blinked up at Leon daring him to make a bold move.

Leon grinned as he saw Jac turn almost the same shade of red as her hair. He pulled her closer to him using their linked hands and smiled as he looked into her sparkling eyes. He became really hot with nerves, and began to think he was dreaming. He'd wake up any second in his bed at home and find that he'd not even set foot in Hogwarts again nevermind be with Jac in this moment. Realising it wasn't a dream when Jac spoke, he raised an eyebrow and let go of her hands with lightning speed and picked her up by the waist, leaving her legs dangling like a rag doll underneath her. He gave a loud laugh. "This!" he said before lifting her up a little higher, then quickly bringing her down again. Not even a second had passed when he put her down that his daring, or stupid side came out, and his lips locked against hers...

Leon pulled Jac a little closer and Jac moved with ease, not fighting the butterflies that were wanting her to stay where she was. Leon let go of her hand and Jac looked down to her now empty hand. What was wrong? Why did he --
Leon's arms were around her and he was lifting her up. Jac laughed, throwing her head back, and she wrapped her arms around his neck. Jac loved being off the ground in Leon's strong arms. She felt safe and she knew this was where she belonged.
Then she was on the ground again, feeling a little light headed but happy none the less. She laughed again and looked up at Leon. Suddenly his lips were on Jac's. Her eyes went wide for a moment, surprised, but then they closed. She still had her arms around his neck and she pulled him in closer as they kissed.

After a moment, Leon broke away from Jac. The fact that she pulled him closer instead of pushing him away sealed it for Leon. For so long he had been wanting to do that to her, and be more than friends, but he had dismissed all his feelings for her. When they were at the Picnic at the lake, he realised them again. He knew they should be together at that moment. He kept his hands wrapped around her waist and looked down at her with a mischievous grin and gave her a quick peck on the lips. "So then missy, what do you reckon? Should we make a go of it?" he said, raising an eyebrow in anticipation for her response.

Jac was a very physical person. She liked to hug people instead of saying that 'it'll all be alright', she liked to punch people, lightly of course, just to say 'hey, I'm here for you mate'. The one thing Jac had never extensively explored of herself was this lip locking thing. She had of course kissed her fair share of boys but this was different. There was something there, something feeling, deep and tangible.
As they broke away, Jac slowly opened her eyes and came to see Leon in a new light. He was so sweet and fun to be with, a little crazy at times but Jac loved crazy. She thought that that was probably the main reason she and Leon started 'hanging out', because they were both a crazy that few others understood. Girty understood, or at least accepted, just like Alex and Maxi understood, just like Jackson. But out of all of those people Jac had never thought of taking it to this level.
"Definitely," Jac said almost slyly. Not lowering her arms from around his neck, Jac pulled him closer again, kissing him lightly before looking up to him. "What should we do first?" Jac asked. She wasn't entirely sure about what came after this.

Leon looked at Jac as she spoke. He had had plenty of girlfriends that came and went because they moaned and they all got on his nerves. They hated his obsession with Quidditch and he was never really interested in them. However this was different, Jac was different. She was the female version of him. They were both as crazy as each other, and they loved it. Jac was a little miracle, she was so cute and small, yet freakishly strong, which had always puzzled Leon. Remembering a time when they were play fighting in the common room when they were back in first year, she actually had him pinned down...even if it was just for a few seconds, she had mocked him for weeks. If he really thought about it, he had always loved Jac, but the love had gone from a childish love to what they had now. He smiled randomly in thought and looked back to Jac as she pulled him closer and asked him a question.
"What should we do first?"
That was a question he didn't know. He had never really been bothered about girls, even though they seemed to flock around him. They were all nothing compared to Jac, and nobody else ever would be. "I'm not sure...Quidditch practice?" he joked and began to laughed.

When Leon answered it was clear that he wasn't sure either. Jac grinned up at him and was thinking about how strange yet so familiar it was to know how he felt about her, how she felt about him. Though it hadn't been labelled exactly Jac didn't mind. The whole experience of kissing one of her best friends was still swimming in her mind rapidly through her mind and any more information would have been too much.
Jac slackened her hold around Leon's neck and leaned back, looking out the window. The sun was still shining, though clouds were already gathering. If they were going to take advantage of the sunshine they would have to do it now. Looking back to Leon, Jac smiled. "Sounds brilliant," Jac said. "Let me just go get my broom."
She let go of Leon and started to skip towards the stairwell to her dorm. She stopped as soon as she put her foot on the first step. Turning around, she looked at Leon again. A new light, she thought as she looked at him. He looked totally new to her, bright and wonderful. Running back to him, Jac jumped, wrapping her legs around his waist, arms around his neck and she kissed him again.
Letting him go, Jac quickly ran up the stairs to retrieve her gear.

When Jac agreed to his proposal of quidditch, Leon gave her a toothy grin. What a perfect woman. When she leant back on him to look out the window he leant her back as if finishing a dance. She began to walk up the stairs and leon bent down to pick up his broom, which was enravelled in his bag straps and as he began to stand up, Jac was someone on him again, legs around his waist and kissing him. He laughed as she caught him off guard and promptly kissed her back before smirking. "Your crazy you are, your gonna be the death of me" he joked. "One day i'll be on a balcony leaning over and you'll jump on me and i'll fall over" he laughed. He watched her as she walked back up the stairs and he sat on the arm of the chair again. Well, this was a good day, what a good decision to come back today. Who knows, if he had come back any earlier this whole situation may not of happened. It was good to know Jac must of felt something similar to him, that eased his anxiety a little.
