[G.Hall] An intrusion of the Ministry kind

Simone had been given a recent assignment to stay at Hogwarts school for a couple of weeks and to report anything she saw as a crime back to the ministry.
She packed up her things and travelled by floo power straight into the headmaster's office fire
She saw a note pinned onto the brickwork for her and she pulled it down.
"Dear Simone,
I am sorry I could not be here to greet you, I have some personal matters to attend to. Please make your way to the staff quarters where you will find your own bedroom for the remainder of your stay. Welcome back to Hogwarts." She smiled at the note and put it in her bag.
She opened the door and made her way to the staff quarters, where she found the room clearly marked with her name. She opened it and proceeded to set out her things neatly.
She sat down on the end of the bed and prepared a clipboard with parchment for notes to be written down on at the end of each day. Just then, someone knocked at the door.
"Come in" she answered, putting the clipboard on the bed and standing up to greet the person.

Vincent walked into the room slowly, his cane in his right hand helping his walk. "Hello, I thought I would say hello to you, since most of the other teachers wont." he said softly to her. "It is nice to meet you. I am Vincent Rallos, ex Auror and now teaching Defence against the dark arts." He held of his left hand to her. "Im guessing the Ministry wishes to spy on us once again." he said softly knowing ho it gos with Ministry appointed teachers. "Well even so, its good to have you here." He said softly. He turned aroundand head for the door he stopped and looked back over his should. "Oh what do they have you teaching anyways?" He asked softly.

Simone shook his hand.
"Thanks, I didn't realise how much I missed it here" She replied.
"I'm just going to be a teaching assistant everywhere really" she said, not quite sure herself.
Simone noticed the cane he was leaning on, he seemed to have a problem with his leg. She didn't want to cause un-neccesary attention to it, so she looked back at him and smiled.
"So how long have you been here then?" she enquired, moving her clipboard off the bed and gesturing to him to sit down.

He smiled, and moved back over toward the bed, and set down next to her. "Iv been here for 2 years now, ever since this." He said putting his hand on his leg. "I use to be an Auror, and when the head master head I was retiering he quickly contacted me." he said softly pulling up his pants leg a bit, showing the bottom part of the huge scare that ran up his whole leg. "A dark wizard i was hunting hit me with a spell, as you can see the resaults of it." he said softly to her.

"Well in guessing you will be cover potions alot, the teacher there is always sick. And about a month after the students get here im going to start a dualing club, so im sure ill see you then." he said softly. He slowly stood up and looked down at her. "I must be going, I have a lot of work to do still, and it would seem you have some to do as well." he said softly walking toward the door. "I will talk to you tomorrow."

Simone listened to him intently while he mentioned his leg, all she could do was pull painful faces when she saw it.
"Yes, See you soon!" she said standing back up and seeing him out the door.

Vincent walked slowly down the empty hall way, the sorting was later that night, in just a few hours. Classes would start tomorrow, and his first class was the first years. He smiled softly to himself and headed toward the geart hall, He enjoyed walking even if he had to use a cane. He could just use magic and apper in the great hall, but he chose not to do that. After about 10 mins he reached the great hall, and headed for the staff table and set down a few of the other teachers had alrady came in and they were talking now.

Simone prepared herself for dinner and made her way down to the great hall ready to be introduced to the school and for dinner.
She locked her door and walked down and into the great hall and saw most of the teachers sat at the table waiting for the students to arrive. She noticed Vincent and sat next to him.
"Hello again" she said.

He looked over at her. "Yes, hello again." He said to her softly as students started walking into the great hall. A few teachers just appered out of thin air, and set down at the table. "Was not exspewting to see you again till tomorrow." He said softly. His cane was no where to be seen now, but a small wooden, set beside his right hand. It was just large enough to fit in his hand, and close his fingers around it.

"The headmaster asked me to come down so I could be introduced to the school" she said.
She shuffled in her seat a little awkwarkdly.
"So what have you been up to?" she asked.

"Nothing at all, I walked down here." he said softly "You seem a bit nervous." He said smiling at her softly. "Its not that bad." Vincent said to her softly. THe great hall startedc to fill up quickly and the head master showed up finaly, setting down in the large middle chair for the sorting to start. The sorting lasted for awail, as soon as it had finished the head mast smiled and stood up.

"Students, Let me introduce you to Simone Flynn. She will be helping out around here for awail, and may become a teacher here." The headmaster said holding his hand out to the side to show where Simone set at.

"Stand up." Vincent said softly poking her in the side of the leg.

Simone gave a quick glance at Vincent before she quickly stood up, almost knocking her chair over.
She smiled and gave a slight wave before re-seating herself as the headmaster continued to talk.
"I thought I was gonna die" she whispered to Vincent

He smiled softly at her. "Its not that bad after a few years of it." He said softly. The head master finished speaking, and clapped his hands. The tables filled with food. "Let the feast begin." He said heading back to his seat.

Simone tucked into a nice helping of pasta bake and took a few items of fruit for afters.
"So, why did you decide to come to Hogwarts?" she asked Vincent

"I didn't have much choise. it was this or be out of work. I would not take a desk job at the Minisrty." He said looking over at her "But it is nice here, i think im going to stay here." he said softly.

The feast went by quickly and soon 3 weeks had passed and Vincent was starting up his dualing classes. He had brought two large classes together and was going to have the students dual, but only after watching him and anouther teacher dual. He looked around the room and found Simone. He moved onto the platform and looked over at Simone. He softly mostioned for her to move to the other end of the platform.

Simone smiled at Vincent and climbed up to the end of the platform. Her tightish knee length skirt didn't really do her any favours for movement, but it looked smart.
She prepared her wand and waited for Vincent to start the lesson.
