Bradyn walked into the library with one purpose in his mind; to figure something out. He walked around looking for the magical creature section, finally finding what he wanted. "Vampires.. Veela.. Seers.." He mumbled to himself, his eyes quickly scanning over the books until he was holding a decent stack of books. It seemed to him that all the women in his life were out of the ordinary, and it bugged him to not know about them or how to respond.
Bray placed the stack of books on the table and filled the chair next to him with his bag. "Let's see, what should I start with.." He whispered, then grabbed the book about veelas, seeing as he was most susceptible to its effects. Bray almost felt guilty to be sitting alone researching people, but sometimes things just had to be done. Hearing some noise behind him, he looked up and saw it was just Miss Marsh. What a bad spell of luck it would be if Fay or Bry or even McCallister showed up.

Felicity ran her finger along the books, mumbling the titles to herself. Well, there wasn't any beater book that she hadn't already read. Ah well, it was worth a try right?
Fay sighed and grabbed her bag. She slung it over her shoulder. There was absolutely nothing to do today, since most kids were in classes. Eve was off tampering with her plants, and Fay stayed away when she was in that kind of mood. As she rounded the corner, Felicity noticed Bray sitting at one of the tables. Curious, and bored, she wandered over.
Her bag slid to the floor with a gentle thump and Fay took a seat opposite to Bradyn. "Hey Bray, whatcha reading?" She looked over to the stack of books, and raised a quizzical brow. Bray wasn't the sort to read that much. She reached over to take the book her was currently looking at, still curious.

Bradyn had only made a few pages in, a few for him being about 30, by the time he heard someone near him. He didn't bother to look up and only grunted, until he heard the person talk. 'Ehh?! What's she doing here?!' He thought frantically and slammed his book closed and put it down so the title wasn't showing. "Oh.. he~y, Fay... me? Haha, it's nothing... nothing interesting.. just books for, uh... class! Yes, books for class." Bray stuttered, trying to cover up the spine of the book so she wouldn't see.
'Smooth, of course one of the people you'd like to see the least has to show up at a bad time.' But at the same time, Bray wasn't very mad. He liked to spend time with her, he just hoped she wouldn't find out.. or if she did, he hoped she wouldn't be too mad at him. Bradyn saw that she looked surprised that he'd sit here and read that much, since Bray was one of the least studious of the Ravenclaws. "And yes, I actually do sit down and read sometimes." He said, rolling his eyes. Acting normal would most certainly get her off his back, no?

"Since when do you study for class Bray? All the years I've known you and you have never picked up a book because you've wanted to." Felicity laughed. He seemed nervous about something, but then again Bray had one of the worst Poker Faces ever.
Fay's gaze flicked back to the pile of books. She took the one on top. "Vampires?" Felicity looked back up at Bray, then back down at the book. She flipped open the book at started to skim through the pages. "Since when are you so interested in mythical creatures Bray? Have you been having mroe than pumpkin juice lately?" She snorted and continued flipping through the pages.

Bradyn scoffed a bit. "I don't need to study for class, but the lesson got me interested in.. uh.. magical creatures." That was only half a lie, something got him interesting in magical creatures, but it certainly wasn't a lesson that he only half-listened to. Was she starting to see through him, or did she just know him too well that she knew he was lying from the start.
Bray strained to keep his eye from twitching when Fay started to inspect his collection of books. 'Her and Bry are friends, it's a good thing she didn't pick up the Seer one first.' He said, almost sighing in relief. But it was only a matter of time until she figured out what he was up to, she had a sharp mind. "They're... fascinating?" Sure, he could go with that even though he thought only dragons were fascinating, and vampires just gave him the willies. "And what are you trying to imply there?" He asked, laughing sincerely at that and accidentally siting up, forgetting to leave the veela book under guard and out of her line of vision.

"Only that you are acting weirder than normal. And the fact that I know you sneak something else every so often." Felicity's gaze flicked up to him for a moment, then back down at the book. Vampires? Didn't Bray used to rant to her how he was freaked out by the whole thing? And now he was brushing up on it. Well, he was being much weirder than normal.
As he sat up Felicity noticed the book he had been trying to hide. She set down the Vampire book and reached over to take the other one. "What do we have here?" Fay flipped open the book, not bothering to glance at the title. The inside page gave her enough information though. She stared at the page for a moment, though no expression crossed her face. After a minute, Fay looked back up at Bradyn. "Interesting hmm?"

Bradyn wasn't doing well with this. Not only was she suspecting him to be up to something, but she also thought he was weird on a regular basis. Maybe Fay knew just a little too much about him for him to be able to get anything past her. If she was more of a blonde, like Bry, it might've lasted longer but obviously his lies were at the end of their rope.
When she seized the book he was reading, he knew it was all over. "Fay.. let me explain.." Bray said, pouting and admitting defeat. He had no idea how to explain it without sounding like an odd stalker. If someone told me, 'hey, I just wanted to know more about you, ya freak.' they'd get a nice punch to shut them up. Bray didn't really have a backup plan for being caught in the library, so he just sat there frowning. "..Yeah.." He said, deciding to go along with her for now, lest his plans to get himself out of this situation damage his friendship with her.

Felicity looked back down at the book, and flipped open to a couple of pages. "'Veelas are often vain creatures, who love to hear about themselves. They usually use their charm to decieve men and to use them to their own wills.'" She shut the book and set it on the table. "Want to learn more about veelas? Here, I'll tell you."
Felicity leaned back in her chair and crossed her arms across her chest. "We can charm a man to do whatever we want, for as long as we want. And, as the book says, we can apparently never make real friends." She stood up and grabbed her bag. "Next time you're curious Bray, just ask." There was some venom in her voice as she turned to walk away. Now is this what people thought of her? A freak. A deceptor.

Bradyn sighed when he heard her reading out of the book, he could definitely tell that she was unbelievably mad at him. Resting his head on his hand, Bray wondered if he could possibly fix this problem. He didn't mean to hurt anyone, his curiosity just got the best of him. 'Nothing like having an angry beater after you.' He thought grimly, not wanting to even connect the word veela to Fay right now.
When he looked up again, Fay was leaving. "No, wait!" He said, a little too loudly when he heard an angry hiss from the librarians. Stuffing the vampire book into his bag, he left the rest of the untouched books to be cleaned up later. Bray was going to regret this for a very long time if he couldn't fix this now, and Ash would get after him if he heard anything about them being mad at each other.
Walking over to her, he put a hand on her shoulder, hopefully to prevent her from getting away again. "Wait! I didn't mean anything by it, I was looking it up so we could still be friends. Knowing what I'm up against makes things easier for me to.. accept." Bray was still frowning, he didn't want one of his closest, or at least he thought so, friends mad at him. He already had enough on his plate trying to keep himself calm around McCallister, if two magical creatures were after him; who knows how long he'd survive?

Bry was walking into the library to finish a research paper for Astronomy when her shoulder collided with another body. Suddenly, Bry's face went white and her vision had gone blury...
There's two students in the library. Can't see either's facial expression, can only hear their tones of voice. One seems angry, the other ashamed. There are books lying on the table. One walks away, the other follows. Now everything gets fuzzier. There's a group of girls talking together, Can't tell where. They're all upset, one of them she recognizes... herself.....
Bry grabbed whoever it was that she had ran into. She turned around, "Whoa, Whoa, Whoa!" she said trying to catch her balance. She saw the facial features of a friend, at least she hoped it was a friend. Bry squinted, I hate this part, she thought as she strained to get her vision back, "Fay? Bradyn?" she asked loudly, hoping it was one of the two.

Felicity brushed past one of the librarians, who gasped a little and glared at her. On a normal day, she probably would've apologized, but she was too furious right now. Her hands were clenched into fists as she moved out of the library.
A restraining hand was placed on her shoulder and she whirled around. As Bray continued to speak though, her hands unclenched and her gaze softened. "I guess you would need to accept what I am just as much as I do." She moved his hand from her shoulder and shook her head. "I guess I just jumped to conclusions. I'm sorry Bray. I let my anger get the best of me."
Someone else seemed to latch onto her as well. She turned around, and saw Bry squinting at her. Fay winced slightly at the shouting. "No need to shout Bry, I'm right here. Do you need something?"

Bradyn smiled at Fay, even if she did get mad at him in a flash at least she was willing to forgive him just as fast. "But I do admit what I was doing was wrong.. maybe." He dragged out the last word, not sure he wanted to completely give up. He had his reasons, and though they may seem odd to the onlooker, they worked for him. But still, he was overjoyed that he'd get out of this without a big bruise and probably would've hugged Fay if he didn't look up and see Bry.
He stared at Bry for a bit, wondering if she was actually there but when she talked, or rather shouted, he knew she was. "Bry, are you alright? You look like a loon." He said, promptly removing his hand from Fay's shoulder before Bry's vision problem was sorted out. "and this is a library, I'd like to get out of here without being hunted down by Marsh for leaving my books in a mess."

Bry blinked a few times at her friends as they came into focus, "OH!" she said loudly before covering her mouth, "I mean, It is you guys," she said this time in a whisper. She looked at Fay, "Um... you upset?" she asked her, "I'm a little confused right now... I had a vision and it wasn't clear at all. I just saw... well... I'm not sure," she said looking away.
She looked at Bray and smiled, "Hi, you," she said in a flirtatious voice, completely forgetting what she was going to say. She looked from Bray to Fay and her face turned serious, "It was you two..." she murmured, "Um... I-I... oh hell... I gotta go," she quickly said before she started to turn around to leave... she saw what would happen if she got involved... or maybe it was because she didn't, either way, she didn't want to know what happened.

"Upset?" Felicity blinked, trying to hide her embarrassment to the fact that Bry had saw her little outburst. "Oh we just had-" She was cut off by Bry's urgency to leave. Fay blinked again, glanced back at Bray, then ran after Briar.
"Bry! BRY! Wait up!" She grabbed Bry's arm to stop her. "What's the rush? Something up?" Felicity searched her face, trying to figure out what was wrong with her friend. "You look like you've seen a ghost or something."

Bradyn looked away a bit, seemed that Bry caught onto their little fight. But even though he wasn't looking at her, he could tell that he held most of her attention. Smirking a little bit, he was about to say something back when he noticed that Bry looked flustered again like she just solved a puzzle but it didn't make a shape. Bray's sharp hearing heard something about it being them and then he remembered her talking about a vision. Did she know beforehand that they were going to have a fight? Still flustered, he left Fay do the job of catching the run away and walked up after she grabbed her.
"Geeze, you people are so noisy." Bray said though he was only looking at Bry. It always scared him a bit when she got like this and he didn't like her running away from them. It was unusual, wouldn't she usually open up to them? He glanced at Fay to try and confirm if she thought something was seriously wrong too. "And Fay, don't upset the ghosts, she's not a muggle." Bray frowned, deciding to act normal while he tried to think of anything consoling he could say. 'Pfft, after my quick save with Fay, my social skills are spent for a while.'
