Cristian sat down cross legged in the moist grass. It was a little windy, but warm, and the sun shone every now and again due to clouds obstructing it's rays. Cristian held his head up and watched the sky for a moment, before tears began to fall from his eyes. He had been an orphan since he was born, unknowing if he had any other brothers or sisters.
One day, Alexa had come from out of the blue to Hogwarts and introduced herself as his older sister, and only other sibling. The joy he felt to know that he wasn't truly alone anymore was overwhelming, but just a few weeks after finding out about her, she tragedically died in the Forbidden Forest. Her funeral was in two days and Cristian was finding it hard to cope without her now.
Sighing, he hung his head. The tears trickled down and entered the corners of his mouth. The taste was salty and stung his chapped lips, but what they were there for hurt more than the sting of them.

Cristian heard someone near him, but they didn't bother him, so he wasn't going to return the favour. Leaning his arms on his now bent knees, he looked out over the lake before he heard the voice. It was Adelle, he knew her from the common room, and they had a good chat to each other every now and again. Wiping his cheeks free from the tears quickly, he looked at her and gave a small thankful smile that she was so considerate.
"Hey Adelle, erm, Well not really...It's just hard you know?" he said, pulling his sleeves over his hands. Dusting off his knees of a few tears that had landed moments before, he looked back at her.
"So what are you doing out here?" He said, obviously knowing why she was here. He glanced at her books with tear-dwelled eyes and realised he had fallen behind with a lot of work. He just wasn't being a typical Ravenclaw right now, which was understandable.

Cristian listened to Adelle as she spoke, her voice was calming and soft, just what Cristian needed right now. A voice of understanding. Everyone seemed to of left him when he needed them most, even Ashton. He's not even seen Carolanne, and he thought she'd be the first one to comfort him.
"Nope. Nobody's been with me since, they've all deserted me when I need them the most. I should be used to it really, i'm used to being alone" he said, feeling sorry for himself. It was the truth, being passed from one foster home to another and never staying in the same place for more than a year had it's affects on him, even if he didn't realise it himself until now.
There it was. The big question. 'How did it happen?'. That, he didn't know, so he decided to re-live the story. "Me, Ashton and Alexa were on the lawns and Ash was bored and wanted some adventure. He suggested to Lex that we all go to the Forest, but Lex being new, she didn't know that it was forbidden as everyone just calls it the forest nowadays. She ran off into it while Ash jumped on my back and was being a little childish and wanting a piggyback...and after that, it's all a bit of a blur. I panicked because she wasn't answering me, and the next thing I knew, I found her body and she was rushed to the hospital wing" he explained. He did well not to start crying again. When he said it, it all seemed like a dream and was surreal.

Cris looked back at her and gave a small hint of a smile. She was being really nice to him, nobody had dared go near him before. "Thanks, but it isn't your fault" he said. Asking if he'd been back into the forest since, he hung his head again and shook it.
"No...No I haven't. I'm not sure If I can" he said, looking back up to her. He paused for a moment and thought about it. "I think someone was in there and cast the Antonin Dolohov's Curse on her. It's a spell that causes no external damage but loads of internal damage" he said, revealing his thoughts to her.
(urgh, sorry it's rubbish!!)
