Today actually wasn't a bad day. There were patches on the ground that weren't completely covered in snow, which meant that the weather should be warming up soon. Thank merlin for that, Colle forgot how much she hated cold weather. The only thing it was good for back at the school was chucking snowballs at the kids. Mm, good times.
Collette made her way outside, with a coat and scarf wrapped tightly around her. There were several groups of students outside, each with their own little clique. It was mostly Gryffs with Gryffs, Claws with Claws, and so on. Much like how it was 'back in the day'. Her and Mayella were considered the weirdos for going out of the norm and befriending a different house. Of course, it took a couple of years and several fights for the two to figure out that they would be perfect friends.
So far, the whole teaching thing had been rather boring. She wasn't allowed to contribute to lessons, she just had to sit and watch. Colle did get the chance to help read the essays, and was surprised to find how many kids actually made information up. At least they gave it some effort. That's what the Dragonology Professor told her. Effort? That was more like them plucking out whatever came to mind and writing it down. Stupid, insolent children.
In her view, a great lesson would be actually showing these kids the dragons, instead of having them research it. But, of course, the school said it was too dangerous and blah, blah, blah. Too dangerous? Were they serious? The school was built by a freaking forest filled with all sorts of dangerous creatures, and bringing a dragon was too dangerous. Something was definitely wrong with the system.
Collette sighed and looked up at the sky, waiting to see a dragon fly overhead. Back in Romania, they used to have at least one fly by a day, and she always waited for that moment. But, now she was stuck here with gray skies, and snow. "Hmph. This school should have more interesting things to do for professors." She muttered, squinting up at the sky.

Where her days were usually filled with butting her nose in places that it wasn't wanted and tormented her brother, May's time was now filled with things that, she considered, to be fun. Ever since Colle decided to join civilization again and stop trying to be one with the dragons, the school didn't seem as dreadfully boring as it had been. There was actually a teacher, or somewhat of one, that she enjoyed talking to. Not that there weren't teachers like that before, but the ones she did enjoy company with, were too busy with marking and all that nonsense.
Now that this deadly duo was reunited, she was beginning to feel like she was a student again. A noble Ravenclaw running around studying by day and causing mischief by night. Those were the good old days, and now, six years later, that sort of fun and excitement seemed utterly unattainable. Poo.
But, this was the time where she could stand watch over the young ones going through the same things that she did, and sometimes because of her naughty past she could catch Gryffindors whispering about plans for the forest. She'd bust them, of course, and enjoy the looks of shock that they had after she said was telekinetic. Currently, this was her only method of fun at the moment and she was walking across the lawns with her hands folded across her chest to hide from the cold. Thank goodness it was warming up, because if it snowed one more time she would probably run outside and start doing a rain dance in the hopes that it would warm up.
May, for the moment, was bored out of her mind and wondering what Collette was doing. Knowing her, she was dreaming about her beloved dragons and hoping one would decide to show up at the school just for her. She smiled at the thought and glanced around to see if any Gryffindors were pray to Slytherin teasing, and for a moment she thought she saw exactly who it was she was thinking about. 'May, dear, you're losing it.' She thought as she did a double-take to discover it was exactly who was on her mind.
"Speak of the devil." She said before walking over with a smirk. "Any sign of the Great Dragon migration yet, dear?"

Did girls in this school just get stupider throughout the years? Colle swore that her class was not as foolish as this bunch. There was a gaggle of Slytherin girls somewhat near her, all whispering about how they were going to prank the Transfiguration Professor because she gave them T's on their essays. Serves them right, the no good snobs.
Collette's eye twitched as the girls' conversation continued. Didn't everyone in the school know by now that May and her were the ulimate duo, best friends for life, better hold on to your hat cause the witches are coming, type? Obviously not, because Colle was only a few feet away from the Slytherins. She stepped closer to them and leaned over one girl's shoulder, reading whatever parchment she had in her lap.
"Pranking Professor Reed now? Tsk, tsk. If you're going to prank someone at least do it right."
The girl nearly jumped out of her skin -- it quite looked like she had a spasm -- and Colle couldn't help but grin. "Now, I suggest you run along to your classes before I decide to deduct house points for plotting against a professor. Don't think those smiles will work on me girls."
Now, back to what she was doing. Collette walked back over to her spot..but found someone else occupying it as well. A large grin broke across her face as she noticed it was May. "What, I'm a devil now? And I thought you'd be thanking me from saving you from a particularly nasty toad that would've ended up in your desk." She huffed at the dragon comment. "Well, it's not my fault that those dragons are far more interesting than some of the people here. You're my one last chance for amusement."

Mayella watched as Collette seemed to be talking to a group of Slytherin girls. Ah, a Gryffindor and a Slytherin. The ultimate house rivalry, what could she be doing? If it was herself over there, she'd probably be taking points off for those sneers they all had on their smug little rich faces. Like they were the only pureblood families, when the Reeds and Clowes happened to be better than snotty Slytherins. They were pureblood, and they didn't live with sticks shoved up their arse. Most certainly better.
But eventually her boisterous blonde friend came bounding back and May was waiting with her typical smirk of amusement. "I'm sure those girls over there would've killled to be called a devil." She said with a little smile then immitateted a high-pitched girlie squeal. "Oh my god, devil? Gasp, gasp, we're so evil!" But after her little spasm she just sat down on the ground and crossed her legs in front of her.
"Oh dear, not a big nasty toad? Whatever shall I do, it might kill me or something!" She rolled her eyes, though partially at herself for catching her brother's sarcasm disease. "Like I couldn't take care of it in a little demonstation to the class, we'd have a miniature Charms lesson that day." Of course, Colle knew May like the back of her hand so she could only imagine the sadistic ideas she was getting but it mostly consisted of flying the toad all over the classroom in people's faces. She wasn't evil enough to kill it or anything since it was probably some first year Gryffindor's that got stolen.
"I have to agree, though I don't think dragon are better company than, well, humans. But these foolish mortals bore me, and they seem to be as moronic as monkeys. The Ravenclaws are not witty and wise, it's just not right!" Not to mention all the Gryffindors seemed to be skipping over the brawns and bravery part of their duty and just skipping to the reward of flirting with the opposite sex.

Collette rolled her eyes at her friend and sat down on the ground in front of her. "Devils? Oh my troll we are so bad! Even the blondey professor is afraid of us!" She laughed her high, girlish laugh and clapped her hands together. Sometimes it almost frightened her how much her and May were alike. Strange to think they came from different families.
"Don't worry, I saved you May! You don't need to think about that nasty little toad any longer." Colle clasped May's hands in her own and gave a little sniffle. There was something seriously wrong with her. She dropped May's hands and laughed. "I'd feel sorry for your students May." Though it would be a funny sight.
"Oh dear I know what you mean!" Collette frowned. "I met some strange Claw the other day. Medium height, dark hair, really tight jeans, which scared the merlin out of me mind you. His comebacks were simply wretched, I nearly had a heartattack. He wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed." She sighed and shook her head. "Something has been seriously lacking May. We need to shape these kids up."

Mayella smiled and shook her head. It was odd being with Colle again and it almost felt like she was being mimicked but they just rolled on the same wavelength. Instead, she just giggled and brought her gloved hairs to her mouth. "So evil, so evil. We'll put a toad in the teacher's desk, so diabolically evil." I mean really, a toad? That was the best those big, bad Slytherins could come up with? Students these days are weak sauce.
Waving her arms in the hair overdramatically she grinned. "Hurray, my hero! I don't know what I would've done. Probably stood on a chair and screamed like some idiotic muggle!" Or maybe she would've actually changed to her animagi form for the first time in front of her class. Leopard in the classroom, wouldn't that be scary? But it would blow her ministry cover and that would be bad. "You should always feel bad for my students, only a few that I like ever pass their written exams." Most of those were Ravenclaws, and dear little Bradyn was included and of course Felicity. She was a necessary ally.
At the description of the unorthodox Claw, she couldn't help but smile. There was only one that fit that description, and that was Drama Claw himself Ashton. "Hmm, he's French. Doesn't even belong in this school at all." She said, tapping her chin thoughtfully.
"But our great houses aren't the only ones suffering, I mean, have you seen how pitiful the Slytherins are? They mingle with other houses, and I suspect some aren't even pureblood!" If they had any power over who was in the houses, which they don't really, May and Colle would be the type to weed out bad ones.
