Cris stood up and finished the last of his hot chocolate.
"Ready when you are" he said to Ash, as he stood up and walked away from the table where they just sat. He waited for Ash to catch him up.

Ash stood and walked after Cris, reaching him he took the oher boy's hand, entwining his fingers with Cris's. The bell over the door tinkled as they stepped in, and the heavenly smell of candy filled the air. "Good morning Ms. Locke." He said greeting Felicity's mother with a smile. He turned to Cris, "So, what should we get?"

Cris tightened his grip on Ash's hand as he seemed to effortlessly entwine his fingers in his.
As they entered the shop, a familiar face. Mrs.Locke, who kindly looked after the Cat got Laney for an hour or so before he supirsed her with it. Surely she would wonder why he was now holding hands with Laney's brother?
He gave a polite smile to her, and turned to Ash.
"I dunno...I'm sick of getting bogey flavoured beans so i'm not getting them! I'll probably get the usual" he smiled.

Ash smiled as Cris tightened the grip. "Alright. I'm thinking.... chocolate. Definitely chocolate, and other than that... well, I guess we'll decide as we wander around."

Ash blushed, he couldn't believe Cris just did that in public! Smirking as Cris turned, he wrapped his arms around Cris's waist and whispered in his ear, "And just what was that for Mr. Martinez?"

Ash blushed, "Really? Well you have a nicer one." He said giving Cris's a small pinch. Wrapping his arms around Cris's neck he kissed him hard, playfully biting the other boy's lower lip.((okay, i think that's enough of that before Gail kicks us both off for indecent posting! it was fun though  ))

Ash smiled and hugged Cris, like Maxi, Cris was somewhat taller than Ash, which meant that Ash only came up to about his chin. "Hmm, what do I want?" he wandered as he looked around at all the candy.

Cris smiled again. He looked at Ash while he was looking around and realised that he was truly happy. Maybe he wasn't really happy with Laney? And maybe it was just some female company for once that he enjoyed.
