((Sorry to be gone so long, but now that I have returned I will post lessons again, if anyone's interested.))
Aurora looked out at the empty tables and chairs of the classroom. She had hardly been teaching at Hogwarts for any amount of time when she had left to deal with the issues of her family. Leave it up to her brother to die at such an inconvenient time. Oh well, she had done all that she could for her dear sister-in-law and niece.
She turned to the blackboard that was always behind her. Pulling out her wand and tapping the board she watched as the words "Hungarian Horntail" appeared upon the board. With a sigh, she took a seat at her desk watching the door carefully as she waited for her students to arrive.

Ash walked down the corridor to the Dragonolgy room, he had always been interested in Dragons, and knew he would enjoy the class. Entering the room he greeted Professor Turolia with a smile. "Hello professor." he said as he took a seat near the front, as usual.

Ah! Now this was refreshing; Dragonology with Turolia. That was something she hadn't done in a while, since graduating Erys had focused her expertise more on the Dark Arts. She had to soak up the knowledge if she wanted to be a good apprentice, after all, might as well start now. Truth be told, she was technically graduated, but had decided to stay back another year to keep her schooling going. She'd miss being a student, and being at the school so much, she just couldn't bear to leave it. What better way to stay than become an apprentice to one of the teachers? It sure beated becoming the groundskeeper -coughDaxcough- or the janitor, hah. Occupations unworthy of someone such as she.
So here Erys walked to Dragonology, slipping in the room like mist rolling in off the tide. "Professor." The Slytherin greeted, her voice containing at least an inkling more polite than if she had addressed, say, Hubbles. Well, not really, she didn't exactly love the guy. So someone she hadn't met, lets say. With the words 'what will we be learning about today, professor?' on her lips, the animagus paused, gaze slapping on the blackblood as she noticed the Hugarian Horntail written on it. Well, goodness, thankfully she checked. If she hadn't she might just appear idiotic, being so tired and right after the christmas season and all.
Taking a seat at a shadowy area at the back of the class, as usual, Erys summoned her supplies with a flick of her wrist, watching appraisingly as her parchment, quill, and ink jar popped in front of her on the desk with a small puff of smoke. Score one for Erys! Now on to the lesson, eh? Right, more people had to show up. Where were her Slytherins?

Finally arriving at his destination, Jason carried himself into the classroom on swift feet. He didn't make much noise, but his presence was surely known. Eyeing the Professor with cold, calculating hazel eyes, he nodded to her and spoke in his silky manner. "Professor."
Hungarian Horntail. Great. Just what he needed. He thought something a bit more exciting was in store for the first lesson, but he guessed wrong. D'oh. Jason took a seat near the centre of the room and lounged back casually while slipping out his wand. A quick tap on the desk and his items appeared with a small 'poof'. Looking slightly bored already, Jason pocketed his wand and had his hand follow suit for comfort.
Turning his head to look around the classroom, he spotted two other students. A Ravenclaw, great. And one that looks kind of queer on top of it. This should be fun. The other, a Slytherin. One with a certain air about her, like she ran the show. No doubt she probably could (Exluding Jason), judging by the lanky body of the boy 'Claw.
Dragonology may hold more than Jason originally thought. I just hope it's not a complete repeat of Durmstrang's lessons..

Angel was sick of school most of the time she made an appearance in classes to keep her parents off of her back. Sometimes it was just so tedious, but at least this Dragonology class, which was the one she was headed to had the one thing that made her happy Erys Grace would be there and somehow she made the classes worth going to. So she decided to grace the professor with her presence.
She spotted her friend the second she walked in and after saying a quick hello to Professor Turolia she made a beeline straight for her. Once she settled she took a look around, first noticing Jason a Slytherin not too bad, and then that cretin from Ravenclaw Ashton. She knew Erys enjoyed messing with him and judging by the state of him she could certainly see why.
Glancing at the board she noted they'd be discussing the Hungarian Horntain, fine with her. Turning to Erys she grinned "So what are you up to today?"

An actual lesson, didn't that sound just great?
The Professor, who Collette had the chance of meeting only once, seemed nice enough. And, as apprentice, she was required to attend many of the lessons. It was mostly to see how the professor taught, because Colle would've most likely known everything the lady was teaching. She had been in Romania for the past few years after all.
Walking into the classroom, she noticed that Slytherins in particular seemed to relish this class. Huh, interesting. With a small shrug, Colle nodded to the Professor and murmured a hello to her. She strode to one of the side walls and leaned against it, since there seemed to be no chair set up for her. How rude.
So, now she had to wait. This was going to be a rather boring day, she would much rather be actually teaching the lesson and contributing. But, as she was reminded often, an apprentice was just supposed to watch the first few times. Pfft, that was no fun.

And here they came! First, recent newcomer Walker, and then Angel. Stretching her lips in a small grin, she shrugged her shoulders before replying with, "Same old, same old. I have a break after Dragonology, I'll probably hang with Ricky if hes free." Glancing over to the door as the apprentice strode in, Erys rolled her eyes, slipping back in to her conversation with her friend, "Assuming hes around. Snakes do tend to disappear from time to time." Laughing a little, she stretched her arms out before crossing them back on the table, waiting for the lesson to begin. Then again, more people had to show up, right? Riiiigghht.
The months were slipping by so fast.. Soon Erys would be 18, and the Dark Art's apprentice. This was going to be so cool, actually. No one could have been more excited about this than her. Sure, the teaching gig didn't earn as much money as she'd like (then again, why care? she had plenty of money already) but there was always the option of having another job on the side. Like her uncle's shop in Nocturne Alley, for example. Or -shudder- somewhere in Hogsmeade. Wherever it was, she'd probably end up with a job here at Hogwarts. Sure, at times it proved to be quite a dump, with all these traitors running around, but it was more home to her than anywhere else.
"How about you?" Erys then asked, having only zoned out for a barely detectable minute before snapping back to reality. Eyes opening a little wider, with curiosity if nothing else, the Slytherin continued to wait patiently - surprised? So am I - for other people to get their damn butts over here.

Stepping into the classroom with a smile plastered on her lips, Polaris took a seat in the middle row, next to the table that held Jason and the one infront that seated Erys and her friend. Sitting back and relaxing a bit, the animagus reclined in her chair before giving a wave to the Professor. "Hei, Professor." She greeted cheerfully.
Bi-coloured eyes scanned the room haphazardly before they closed in comfort. Polaris tilted the chair back and rested it on the hind two legs, making sure to get as comfortable as possible. She had a lot of listening to do if she were to learn about Hungarian Horntails.

Dragonology. What a fascinating subject, although Via never did really understand why Dragonology wasn’t classed as Care Of Magical Creatures. Still, it was a subject worth knowing if you wanted to have a somewhat dangerous career. Via had been planning on doing something with Herbology for her future, however, she was fascinated by dragons, so it made sense to learn something about them. It was always good to have something else to fall back on, not putting all her eggs in one basket, so to speak.
Entering the class, she immediately spotted that she was currently the only Hufflepuff in the classroom. This class was mainly full of Ravenclaws and Slytherins. She noticed the Ravenclaw, Polaris and decided she would sit next to her. She had a few classes with her and she seemed like such a pure soul and a friendly one, that Via had decided she was going to try and befriend the Ravenclaw. Sitting next to her she said Hello before looking over at the Professor.
“Hello professor Turolia” she smiled before her eyes caught the attention of the words on the blackboard. Hungarian Horntail. This lesson should be interesting!

Sadly, Dragonology had always been on his schedule but now it was becoming a tedious subject as he had little or no interest in the creatures. Sure, they were fascinating, but was it worth sitting for a good hour with this class? Ash was always in the lesson with him, and so was Erys. Sure, she was alright, but he'd rather have Ellie or Fay or even the annoying Maxi to talk to.
Sneaking in a touch late, he took a seat in the back by himself and awaited the lesson on some exotic animal that he hope he would never encounter. Perhaps this lesson was a touch too pointless for him. Hungarian Horntail. This one he was a touch familiar with because of the legends of Harry Potter and how he faced off with one in the rink to win the Triwizard Championship.
Interesting, but in all honesty he would rather take the lesson without the assistant professor, considering she'd been over to his house countless times. Each time she was connected at the hip to May and they were girlie annoyances while he was the little boy that just happened to be too cute. Could she still recognize him? Hopefully not, but the Reed name might tip her off.
