Nikole smiled at the boys. Just as she had expected they finally were tired of talking. "Thing to tip over, huh?" she said slightly amused. She looked around the library and sighed. "So that's all you're willing to tell me. Yes, of course, well then I do hope to see you again," she said sweetly.
She looked at Derryl and added with a smile, "As long as you don't intend to be so rude next time." She had noticed his sudden bad mood after his statement, but she couldn't see why he would be. "Well, have fun boys," she said smiling at them. She turned her attention back to the book. She knew the boys plans were in the library, and besides she had actually planned on staying there for a while.

Aidan gaged the Ravenclaw for a moment but soon realised she didn't know what they were going to do. If she did she would have stopped them or left the library but she stayed in her seat. She couldn't know. Aidan pushed his brother forwards and smirked at the girl. 'See you 'round,' Aidan said over his shoulder.
Derryl let his brother push him around a few shelves. He flopped into a seat and stared at his brother. 'You still want to do it today?' he asked, uncaring at this point.
Aidan nodded and pulled out his large parchment. 'So you'll go here,' he said and pointed to a line on his parchment, 'and I'll go here.' His brother was down, this would definitely cheer him up. Aid pulled out his wand and put the parchment away again. 'Right, twenty counts. one ... two ...' he whispered the latter and stalked off towards the front of the library, his brother at his elbow.
When they arrived at the front of the library each took out of their pockets a small rubber ball. They went to either side of the library, either row of shelves and placed their balls under them. '... eighteen ... nineteen ... twenty. Engorgio, they said together, pointing their wands at the balls. The balls grew larger and larger and began to tip the shelves over.
Soon the shelves were falling over and landing onto the next in the row, knocking it over too. And a chain reaction began to occur. Soon all the shelves were lying onto of others, dust flying everywhere. Aidan and Derryl used reducto to resize their balls and met in to middle of the corridor between the fallen shelves. They clapped hands and whispered together, 'yes!' The tipping shelves cheered Derryl up immensely.

Looking up from her book, Nikole smiled a little as the shelves around her started falling one onto the next. Just as she thought the only thing in the library they could knock over where the shelves. She was, however, surprised and very impressed by their choice of methods. She would have never thought to enlarge a rubber ball to knock over the shelves. It was very creative. Nikole realized that these boys were very impressive when you actually paid more attention to them, instead of just assuming they were troublemakers. They were smart, creative, and fun.
She looked over with a smile at the twins standing among the fallen shelves. "Bravo, boys," she said with a short laugh. "Very creative. I could never have predicted you would use that particular method to knock over the shelves." She made sure to raise her voice enough that they would hear her. Turning back to her book she began to read again as though nothing had happened, except for the smile that still remained on her face.

Nira had been in the library, crouched beside a distant shelf to look up a rather difficult charm. Alerted suddenly by the sounds of loud bangs and things falling over, she stood, whirling around just in time to see something huge toppling towards her. Whipping out her wand just in time, the Ravenclaw witch parted her lips, gasping. "What in the bloody-" Came her shriek over the clatter, unfinished because of the bookcase that had toppled over her. A multitude of heavy volumes collapsed with a clatter to the floor, smashing around her legs which were threatening to buckle under the weight. She had managed to shove her shoulder against the falling furniture, holding it shakily aloft while trying to think of how to get out of this. Refraining desperately from screaming every curseword in her vocabulary, Nira kept calm, trying to think more clearly. With a heave, she pushed it away, pointing her wand at the bookcase to shout, "Reducto!" Instantly it was blasted away, revealing a very annoyed Nira in its dusty wake. Everything was scattered, and her desired text was lost, so there was nothing else to do but.. "Nice job guys." She remarked, rubbing blood away from a cut on her arm. Approaching the perpetrators with a small smile, Nira stretched her arm out, hearing the satisfied click of her aching bones.
"But next time make sure there arent students around next time?" People could've gotten hurt. Rubbing her scraped palms together, Nira slid her wand into her robes, thankful it hadn't been snapped in two. She had seen these two and their prankster attitude, and, though extremely amused by it, wasn't liking anything falling over on her. Dusting off her clothes, the fourth year gathered herself on her toes, stepping around the poor books to come a bit closer. "Are you sure you arent supposed to be in Ravenclaw?" With their brains, be it used for tricks or not, they could have been great students. Meaning, better in the raven's house instead of the serpent's. Having noticed the rubber balls, she began to laugh, also impressed by the unique method of carrying out this sudden chaos.

The aftermath was spectacular. Dust shot up into the air, cloud after cloud after cloud as more and more shelves fell over, emptying there content onto floor or other book cases. Aidan and Derryl adopted their famous (or infamous) pose, arms crossed, shoulders touching, looking away with smug grimaces on their faces. They surveyed the scene with pleased looks.
'Marsh'll be horrified,' Aidan said to his brother without looking at him.
'Wicked,' Derryl said and looked at Nikole. She was still reading and Derryl gazed at her dreamily. When she spoke to them, the twins took low bows and their long blond hair flopped lazily around their faces. 'Always a pleasure to impress,' Derryl said, smiling at the Claw.
Then a shelf few across the room. Aidan and Derryl watched it fly, amused and another Claw appeared out of the rubble. They bowed again to her and smirked at her.
'Can't you handle a few falling books, there, Ravie?' Aidan said, smirking at the new arrival. They had thought that the library was empty but clearly hiding was among the talents of Ravenclaws that they didn't know of.
The two barked harsh laughs at her suggestion about them being in Ravenclaw. 'You sound like our brother,' Aidan said, looking away from her and to the rest of the shelves fall. It was beautiful, bitter sweet satisfaction. It would soon be over. Or they would be caught. But worth every moment of punishment they got to see the library fall into disarray and disorder.
Derryl looked this Ravenclaw up and down while his brother spoke. Then Derryl spoke. 'Bet you don't have nearly as much fun as we do.' He knew she and none of the other Claws did. Having a boring brother in Ravenclaw gave them this edge on any Claw and they liked it that way.

Nikole looked up at the other Ravenclaw girl who had been in the library. She smiled slightly as the girl said something about the twins being in Ravenclaw. She could see that, they were very intelligent, a quality she greatly admired. She closed her book and walked over to where the twins were. She figured there was no use in trying to read any longer, she wouldn't be able to focus as long as those two were around.
Looking over at the girl again she recognized her as a girl she had seen around the common room a few times. She was a fourth year, and Nikole was pretty sure her name was Nira. "You okay, Nira?" she asked with a smile, certain the girl was alright. Turning her attention to Derryl she asked, "And what makes you think, that she doesn't have as much fun as you? I bet she manages plenty of fun. Although she probably doesn't almost smash her fellow students in the process." She smiled sweetly at Derryl as she waited for some remark about Ravenclaws being boring, bookish types.

Completely forgetting the cut on her arm, Nira nodded, glad there was another Ravenclaw here to back her up and check if she was okay, even though she was just fine. "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks.. Er, Nikole, right?" Smiling at her, the fourth year then looked to the twin troubles. "I have plenty of fun, which doesn't include studying, in case you were wondering." Flashing Nikole a knowing look, Nira chuckled, also waiting for the rude remark about Ravenclaws being future librarians. Not all of the house had their noses in books, some of them, though still witty and smart, liked to have fun once in a while. Their house was pretty much the closest thing to being Slytherin, minus the evil intentions and taunting remarks. Learning new things was interesting to her, but studying didn't happen to be on her list of awesome things to do when in a bored mood. Nor was impressing the teachers a priority, but it helped a little when it came to the issue of house points. That reminded her.. Who was leading, anyway?
Deciding to check after leaving this scene of chaos, Nira glanced at the rubble, coughing as the dust cloud hit where she was standing.

Aidan was smirking at the fourth year. Though beautiful, she was feisty and charming and quick witted, something Aidan admired in a girl. Meanwhile, Derryl was still watching Nikole with a bemused grin on his face as she joined the three standing in the rubble of the library. Aidan dug his elbow into his brother's ribs when he noticed the vacant expression on his brother's face. He knew that look all too well and smirked at his brother when he snarled at Aidan.
Aidan looked back to the red head and crossed his arms, buffing out his chest. 'I'm sure book clubs and study-buddy systems are great fun for a Ravenclaw,' he said with a smirk to punctuate. 'Slytherins, on the other hand, know that there's more to life then school.'
Derryl closed his mouth and had to force himself to look away from Nikole and to the fourth year who's name, he and his brother gathered was Nira, and smirked, a mirror of his brother's. 'So what else is there for a Ravenclaw besides sitting around and read?' he asked, genuinely interested, 'I can't imagine much.'

Nikole narrowed her eyes at Aidan. It was true she spent a good portion of her time with books, but that didn't mean she thought that school was there was to life. "I know there's more to life than just school, Aidan," she said in an annoyed voice. After a moment her annoyance faded, and she relaxed a bit. She looked over at Derryl and smiled a bit. He was fascinating. It seemed strange that while he seemed to be every bit as smart as his brother, that his always seemed to be the leader of the two.
Nikole turned her attention away from Derryl to Nira. Nira didn't seem like the type of Ravenclaw who always had her nose in a book. She was smart, but naturally so. Most people often just assumed that Ravenclaws studied constantly and that is how they always had high marks, but this wasn't true. Nikole barely ever actually studied for her classes. She waited to see what the girl would say to answer Derryl's question.

Imitating Aidan's smirk with crossed eyes, Nira shook her head with a laugh. "Im one of the few 'Claws' that dont spend their life studying. I dont mind a prank or two, or sneaking into the Forbidden Forest. I dont freak out if I get a bad grade, or have a hissy fit if I get dirty." Back at home, she was known by her muggle friends as the girl up for any kind of muddy contact sport. Like tackle football, or rugby. Not bothering to glance around to check if the stricken librarian was listening, the fourth year shrugged her shoulders, wondering how the poor lady was going to clean this up. It appeared that she and Nikole were sort of similar. Unlike many Ravenclaws at Hogwarts, Nira was really different. She was a mudblood, not rich, not spoiled, or extremely gorgeous. Never noticing how beautiful she really was. It was hard to, after all, when you were knee-deep in mud while playing soccer. (a muggle sport)
Nira was naturally smart, having a knack for understanding things. Information clicked within her head, and she retained most of it easily. That, and her sharp wit, were the only dominant reasons for her being in her house. She was brave enough for Gryffindor, tricky enough for Slytherin, and nice enough for Hufflepuff. Go figure. "I like reading, but dont read school books in my spare time. I play a few sports, explore things, get into dangerous situations, etcetera etcetera." Waving her hand to emphasize how possibly endless the list was, Nira smiled at the twins, then shot Nikole a grin. They were pretty similar.
While the other girl seemed to take a liking to Derryl, Nira couldn't deny that Aidan was the cooler one of the two. Being the leader, and the one who didn't drool at the sight of a pretty girl, he was so much more preferable. But his twin was cute, in a brother kind of way. They were nearly identical, afterall, but it was easy to tell which was which. [/color]

Aidan threw his head back and laughed. 'I'm sure you do,' he chuckled teasingly. He could have pictured Nikole walking in the Forest, reading a book, and missing all the action that was going on around her. This picture made him laugh again, wrapping his arms around his torso because the laughing hurt so much.
Derryl stared at his brother, confused and amazed that he had found Nikole that funny. He shrugged and smiled, apologetically, at Nikole.
When Nira started talking, Aidan tried to stop laughing, leaning on his brother who frowned at him with one raised eye brow and threw him a skew glance. 'We four should go for a little adventure in the forest in that case,' Aidan said, testingly. He could tell that Nira was game, as she was easy to read, but Nikole was a little tricker.
Derryl dropped his shoulder and took a step away from his brother so that Aidan's arm slipped off his shoulder and he stumbled forward into Nikole. Aidan jumped back in horror, straightened his robes, and sneered at Derryl.
Derryl ignored him and nodded, 'after the holidays though. Mumma would chop us up to put in her stew if we got into any kind of trouble before the holidays.' Derryl looked around at the rubble and thought that he heard voices shouting outside. 'But right this moment, we must be off. Can't stay at the scene of the crime, can we?'
Aidan, too, heard the voices now and nodded. He grabbed Derryl's arm and pulled him towards the door. Derryl pulled loose of his brother's grip and took a step close to Nikole. 'It was great meeting you,' he said, and planted a gentle, tender kiss on her cheek. Aidan pulled him again and Derryl followed, walking backwards so he could watch Nikole a little while longer.
'See ya, Nira,' Aidan called and waved over his shoulder. Derryl winked at Nikole and the twins disappeared out the door. People came down the corridor in front of them so Derryl and Aidan ran to their left and away from the library, lying in ruin, laughing.

Nikole's eyes had narrowed as Aidan laughed at her. She hardly found anything she had said as funny. But as Derryl gave her an apologetic smile she relaxed again and smiled back. He at least seemed slightly more decent. At the mention of an adventure into the forest, Nikole kept herself composed as she thought of it. It wasn't one of her favorite places.
As she was considering this one of the twins slipped forward into her. She shot them an angry glance, but quickly composed herself once more. Then, without even giving the girl's a chance to respond to their suggestion the boys rushed out of the library at the sound of the voices. She rolled her eyes a bit as she looked over at Nira.
"So, Nira, are we actually going to go on an adventure in the forest with those two?" she asked with a mischievous smile playing across her lips. She was almost certain Nira was going to do, and as long as she knew someone else with some sense was going, Nikole was seriously considering going herself.
