(Library) Tricks and Plots

Diego went into the library, not to study like usual people but to find some way to lighten up their potions lessons. True, it was extreamly risky to play a trick or a joke in Vance's classroom, but Diego couldnt help it. Potions had been extreamly dull, what with Vance making sure none of them had any sort of fun while in his lesson, not to mention his quiet and very cold voice, it sent shivers down Diego's spine and he knew the others who took that class wouldnt mind a little bit of a boost.

Sitting down at a desk, he took out a piece of parchment and his quill, writing, Tricks, on the top of the sheet. Sitting there in thought for a minute, he tried to think of things Vance might be scared of, but then realised that ws pointless as that man doesnt seem to have any fears. "Okay, so what would made the class laugh?" He wondered, he was doing this for his own amusement too, but he thought he may as well get the class in on it too.

Trick One: Pretend to be deaf, anything Vance says to you, have someone repeat it louder for you, ie, if he asks if I have ear-ache, get someone to shout it to you, and then reply with something like, no i dont want a rake, i dont feel like gardening today, Sir.

Trick Two: Put a mouse into his desk and look innocent and say "I wonder where that came from?"

Trick Three: Use Invisible chalk, scribble on his chair and when he sits down he will have a bright pink bottom.

Trick Four: Pellet attack. Put little gray pellets on the cieling before class starts, dab them with a little bit of water, and watch as tiny bubbles come off them and made a huge 'ping'

Diego looked over the tricks, he wasnt sure which one would be the best. Though personally he liked the deaf one. Unless Vance sent for the headmaster, he couldnt prove whether or not Diego had a slight hearing loss could he? Now, he needed to think about which one he was going to play, and get started on the planning.

[Leyla Reines]

Leyla walked in the library not because she wanted to study, but just see what kind of people came here. Of course she saw a bunge of Claws and even some Hufflepuffs. She examined the room which she didn't know that good. "Shoot,dull library style with the tickling scents of those god damn books!"She said this with a great scorn in her voice. She walked to a table where a Gryffindor boy sat, he was thinking very hard, and he was writing on a piece of parchment. Maybe a loveletter, she thought. She stepped closer to the boy and asked "So, what are you writing, you know it's not Valentine's Day yet.." She looked over his shoulder instead of 'lovely ... you're hair is like roses' or something of that kind there stood tricks! Well, this sounded interesting..

Leyla sat down in one of those not relaxing library stools next to the boy."Can I help?"She asked, because her visit to the library became even more interesting. If he said not.. well than she just had to convince him that she was the right person to help him. She also took her quill and a pice of parchment and wrote down: 'Potion class tricks'. She gave another look at the boy's parchment. "Do you have any interesting tricks already?"

Tricks and jokes came easily to Diego's mind, as he was a quick thinker it came almost as natural to him as dance steps did. He tapped the edge of his quill and looked down at the piece of parchment on the desk, four perfectly good tricks which he could perform in Vance's lesson, however he knew he couldnt do them without backup from other people.

Hearing a voice behind him he looked around and saw a girl stood there, "No, I know it isnt" he told her. "Its a list of jokes and tricks to perform in Vance's lesson to make it a little less dull" he smiled a little bit then added sceptically, "You thought I was writing a love letter?" he couldnt help but laugh.

Diego shuffled his seat around so she could see his parchment a little better, "Sure, afterall I will need backup when doing some of these" he told her, "Well I have the play deaf trick." he told her, pointing to the top one, "Could have a laugh with that one, I'd pretend to have gone slightly deaf and whenever Vance talks to me, I will look confused and say I didnt quite hear you. Then someone else will shout what he said to me, and I'll misshear it again. Then the whole class can shout it together. Say like, he asks me if i have an ear ache, I'll look confused then someone can repeat it loudly and then I'd say something stupid like, No, i would not like a rake sir, im not doing any gardening today" he looked at her and smiled, "The invisible chalk is the next funniest, we get this stick of pink chalk, though when you rub it on something, when it gets warm enough it will transfer onto whatevers made it warm. Say we scribble on Vance's chair and he sits down on it, when he stands up he will have a bright pink ass"

Diego had loads of tricks up his sleeve, but he didnt want to use them all at once.

[Leyla Reines]

With a voice almost expanding of exciteness she said:"You can also write something on his chair with that invisible chalk. Like : Vance inventer of the pink butt. And I'll be your deaf interpreter. I'll also think of some other ones."Leyla just wanted to go to potions as fast as possible, but tricks needed some good preparation. She tapped with her pen on the table,she was out of good tricks today.She had one stupid but most boys didn't like it."If you have prepared one of his stupid potions everyone acts like it they prepared some of a silly dance potion and they act silly and are dancing all the time, well I know this isn't my best one."She thought harder and harder, someday she would come up with a brilliant one. "His classroom is pretty smelly, maybe we can do something fun with that." It sounded pretty desperate she knew nothing better at this moment. "Come on stupid brain, think for once!"

"No, that wouldnt be smart to write something with the chalk" He told her, "If we all did that, it would have to be a scribble that way Vance wouldnt be able to tell who did it by the handwriting" He tried explaining, the pretending to be deaf one was probably going to give them all the best laughs, besides, everyone seemed so tense around here lately and Diego hated tension. "I think our best bet right now would be to go with the deaf one" He told her, that way everyone can get involved. He smiled at her, "Though thinking up ones for another day isnt a bad idea either"

"You're right but maybe we can teach somebody to write in Vance's handwriting.I also agree that the deaf trick is the best."Leyla also had to think of a brilliant one, was very hard. She was out of inspiration. How could she think of a trick if she had put herself under high pressure. "Maybe we can use the intelligence of some Claws with a special kind of trick, I don't say that you're not intelligent since I don't know you very well but Claws are definetly intelligent!What we have now... I'll be your deaf interpreter, well sort of and than just.. well we'll see."

"I dont know" Diego said, teaching someone to write in Vance's handwriting could still be a little risky. "Yes, maybe a couple of Ravenclaws could help, I am seeking out a guy called Mark Alméida? Do you know him? Apparently he is good at tricks and can recognise good ones almost instantly, but I have yet to see him" Diego looked back down at his parchment and made a few more notes to it.

[Leyla Reines]

''Well, I just heard of him, that's all."The only thing she knew that he had some family also on school. "I know one Claw, that's all. I don't really know if she is in for some fun." Emmy didn't look like a bad girl at all, it was kinda pathetic to abuse Emmy her kindness and intelligence.
Leyla felt stupid she was not that helping.Leyla said desperately:"I know I've said this thousand times but I'll come up with something else, maybe I can get us a Ravenclaw or .. someone else.."
