Dan listened closely to the headmaster words and nodded his head slowly to show that he was listening and taking it in. On many occasions he wanted to jump in a protest his innocence, but the tiny bit of sense that he had stepped in and he thought twice about shouting at the Headmaster. However at the mention of Quinn his heart gave a small leap and he knew that a smile had passed over his face briefly. He was soon brought back down to earth when he was asked by Darrow what he was going to do with Andie. With a deep breath Dan thought carefully about what would be needed.
“I shall draw the line now Headmaster, I shall show her that she needs to learn to respect her teachers, and in turn I will respect her. Would it be wise to also tell her that I was wrong in acting as I did? Or is that showing a sign of weakness?”
Dan was truly interested, although his questions seemed simple and rather basic he truly did not know. He wanted to do what was right in an attempt to keep the peace between him and the headmaster, although he knew that both he and Darrow were keeping their tempers at bay, one wrong word could set both of them off. Dan raised his gaze and looked at the headmaster in the eyes, he was dying to ask more and to try to defend himself form the earlier accusations. He could tell the strain was showing on his own face as he fought to keep his mouth shut.

Andie, quickly and quietly finsished her assigned task. Then decided to dust the desks as well. Putting some more oil on the rag she made her way over to Professor Hubbles' desk. As she was dusting she remembered a song from her past and began to sing softly.
All the world is but a child screaming over all your words No one hears your pain they're way too busy for concern And the days become weeks and the months turn into years You gotta know by now that only God sees all those tears When you cry cause it hurts dosn't mean that your not heard Because aloud in heaven the Angels cry with you When you shout about the way you feel 1000 lies that don't reveal The true begging of the end when you can make a line from here to Mars of those with broken dreams and scars there will never be a fix outside a savior When you cry cause it hurts doesn't mean that you're not heard Because aloud in heaven the Angels cry with you You can say they haven't known of hate or desire to retaliate there must be someone, someone we can blame but it's hard to put the anger down And hear from god not a sound and find a place to heal the unforgiving When you break and you yell and there's no one left to tell you have the tears of heaven and his grace will come to you (come to you) When you cry cause it hurts dosn't mean that your not heard Because aloud in heaven the Angels cry with you
Andie smiled to herself as she sang softly. It was a song she had written when her mother had been alive and it had been her mother's favorite.
