Will ran a nervous hand through his dark hair. Finally he was a professor at where he wanted to be, where he learnt the art he was teaching students himself, and where he spent his days learning and gaining amazing memories. Opening the classroom door, he looked back at it to notice the old teachers name still written on the door. Giving a small laugh and shaking his head, he flicked his wand and the door now showed his name.
Professor William Vaid
Satisfied that it was now showing the correct information, he realised it would give the students something more to gossip about. The previous professor had just upped and left without a word, and the arrival of yet another new teacher would be known by the whole school within a matter of minutes. Closing the door back on itself, he walked down the small classroom, and noticed how unorganised it seemed. Sighing, he began to wonder if the teacher had actually gone years ago but nobody had come to realise. Flicking his wand that was pointed at the large window to one side, the blind flicked upwards quickly and the window opened, letting in a large gust of wind. With his hair now a little messy, he ran a hand through it yet again in attempt to restore some order to it.
The room was filthy, and it just would not do at all. How people could work in a dirty classroom, especially with a subject that needed to you have a clear mind, he would never understand. Flicking his wand this way and that in a frenzy, the desks and floor became sparkling, the chairs that had fallen over were now parked neatly underneath the matching desks, and they were all in straight lines.
With a happy nod to himself, he walked over to his desk and wrote on the blackboard;

On a day like this, Kitty was content to just lounge around the common room, perhaps go to sleep for a few more hours. Five or so should do it. If only her eyes would let her go back to sleep. Early in the morning they just popped open, refusing to let her slumber some more, the dratted things. Thus Katya had to shuffle around for the rest of her day, handing in assignments, receiving new ones, learning new things, making notes and putting her hand up to answer questions. She was supposed to get to Occlumency soon, which would have been strange to her seeing as classes on the subject hadn't run for a while, if the new professor hadn't run in to her trying to break up a fight between Bray and Ash. But he did, and he introduced himself, despite her grumpiness at being able to handle it herself.
So, walking slowly in to the room while hiding a yawn beneath her hand, Katya took a seat in the middle of the room. Not quite at the front, not quite at the back. In between, like she seemed to always be lately. Nodding with a polite smile to Professor Vaid, pretty much all she could do except mouth a hello, she stretched. Slinging her book bag off her shoulder, the Ravenclaw searched through it, withdrawing her parchment, quill, and ink jar, and setting everything up. Hopefully she'd manage to stay away during class. Maybe Ian or Leo or Ash would show up? She didn't know what classes they were in, but there was a possibility they had this one at this time too. Even just one of them was enough to keep her up and running.[/color]

Her day so far seemed like the kind that just never ended. Today just went on and on, perhaps it was because she was taking so many at once or because she was just so tired. The last few nights she spent most of the hours she should be sleeping studying for well for everything. So now she was off to yet another class and she didn't seem to want to go but Ravenclaws just didn't ditch lessons, at least no this Ravenclaw.
So now she was walking into yet another room this one well she was being taught something useful at least, that's what she kept telling herself. Occlumency was a necessary subject at least in her opinion. Entering the room she noticed well there had been a change. So many changes occurred she stopped letting it bother her any. Walking in she found a fellow Claw already there so she made a beeline and said cheerily, "hey there Katya."

Sarie sighed, as she went to Occlumency. She had studied under 2 other teachers and still hadn't learned much. Sarie was really trying to learn to block other peoples thoughts her question still hadn't been answered.
She walked into the class room where she saw two Ravenclaws. She Knew on of them but not the other. She sighed and sat in the second row. Wanting to be taught but worried she had reached another dead end.

Will smiled as three girls entered the classroom, all in concession of each other. Standing up, he decided to sit on the edge of his desk to look less formal. Afterall, this class didn't need to be formal, and neither did he want it to be. He wasn't a strick kind of man, and formal in kids minds made them think strict.
"Welcome ladies. I trust your all doing well?" he asked with a smile, actually concerned about their welfare. He wanted to be approachable, which he infact was. He was the sort of professor who would sit and listen to you rant for hours on end about absolutely anything to to with school, friends, homelife or whatever, he would make time for you. He found this was the best way for him to be, and couldn't imagine being uptight.
"Do any of you girls have any questions before we start?"

Yeah she had a question a darn good one like what the heck was going on at her school why were there all these constant staff changes, once you get used to one professor poof their gone and you have to deal with someone new. Not that she minded for this class she didn't really like the other professor too much since he did dock points from her the first day.
As she took sight of her fellow classmates she noticed none of them were asking questions either. Maybe they were just as surprised to find yet another professor in their midst. Truly ridiculous how were they to learn this way?
Anyway Alexis did decide on another question to as him "Professor how did the practice of Occlumency get started" she figured if he was a master at it he would definitely know that one.

Here they go again she thought rolling her eyes when she noted that they had yet another professor for this subject. To her learning Occlumency was rather important and it seemed to be impossible to do if the professors switched every other day. Turning into the room and sitting down she took note that she was again forced to be in the company of those unworthy of her.
As the professor asked if anyone had any questions she just sat back in her chair crossing her leg folding her arms across her chest. While of course some stinky little Ravenclaw had to be a brain and ask a question. Again Angel rolled her eyes just wanting this class to begin already.

Looking up to hear a voice ask him about how occlumency got started, he smiled at the girl who it was coming from. "Don't worry Alexis, we'll be covering it today in the lesson" he said politely. He was sure the students had many questions about such a complex subject that focused on sheer determination and power of concentration, and one of those subjects was the teacher change yet again.
"Just so you all know, I will not be leaving you in the lurch like all the other professors. I'll be sticking around for a very long time, that I can promise you. So we will not have any more interuptions and you can all learn freely now" he said crossing his arms and placing his hands under his armpits. He looked around at the girls and wondered if any boys would be showing up to class today. Hopefully his speech would bring some hope back into the hearts of the students again, and it was the truth. He had worked to damn hard to just up and leave now, if he did it would all be a waste. He was sure he would be able to get them back on track with the lessons, as it seemed they had not even learnt about what Occlumency was properly anyway.
"We'll get started with the lesson in 5 minutes girls, we'll just wait to see if anymore familiar faces decide to turn up. Feel free to chat amongst yourselves until then" he said giving them a flashy grin before turning round and sitting at his desk once again. Picking up the newspaper, he opened it out on the desk and began to study the day's news.

Ellie rushed in, her curls a mess on top of her head. Her eyes were wide open, and yet dark circles shaded the under eyelid. Slightly disheveled, meaning her skirt slightly askew and her socks not pulled up to their normal knee position, Ellie stopped and starred into the room she had just ran into. Ellie had been in the room before, however, it did not look the same. She remembered a think coating of dust on all the surfaces. Ellie's eye moved across the room, and to the man sitting at the desk, a newspaper up, as he was reading.
Ellie blushed, her entrance and appearance hardly what she would have hoped for to greet a new professor. Her hand went up to her head and pulled down her hair from the large bun atop her head, the curls cascading down, slightly messy than she would have normally wore. Ellie smiled a half smile, and continued on to her seat, taking a second to fix her skirt before plopping down.
"Sorry," she said, now that she was comfortably in place in the class, "I over slept...a lot." She grimaced. Not a good first impression. "Uhh, I like what you've done with the place." she said with a smile, trying to redeem herself a tad bit.

So Will was now a teacher, this was something she had to experience. She knew she was not really down to do Occlumency but it was always a useful thing to know and it was a good excuse to see Will again. However seeing as Dan did not know about this small change in his sisters lesson schedule he had gave her a few tasks to do, which over ran ever so slightly and ate into the start of the lesson, however the Hufflepuff was sure she would be able to get away with being five or ten minutes late.
“Morning Will.” Girty said rather too cheerfully as she walked into the classroom, actually surprised to see it so clean and organised. “Have you cleaned?”
She gave him a playful smile and pocked out her tongue before making her way to a seat. Their was the usual crowd and although Dan always tried to encourage interaction with students from other houses Girty took the simple option and sat down next to Ellie who looked like she had only just fallen out of bed.
“I am glad to see I am not the only one who does not like morning lessons.” Girty gave a small laugh and pulled the basic lesson equipment out of her bag and placed it on the table in front of her. “I am convinced they do it on purpose, they know that most teenagers hate getting out of bed no matter what the time is. The 9am starts are just a curl and twisted punishment.”
