[Occlumency] Lesson 1

[Prof. Hikaru Tanaka]

Hikaru ran a hand nervously through his hair, the young professor would be teaching his first classs in a little over ten minutes and he wanted it to be a good class. Looking around he assured himself that everything was in place, the walls had been painted a deep emerald green, with sapphire blue stripes and the desks had been arranged in groups of four. Turning, Hikaru picked up a piece of chalk and wrote his name on the board

Hikaru Tanaka- Occlumency Professor

[Bijou Le Fey]

Bijou stuck her head through the door warily peering into the room. It was unlike the classrooms she had become accustomed to through her years at the school. It had more life to it and that was what made her hesitate.

[Prof. Hikaru Tanaka]

Hikaru smiled gently at the girl hesitating by the door, "You can come in you know. I don't bite."

[Bijou Le Fey]

Bijou jumped, she hadn't noticed the man at the other side of the room, quick to reply she stumbled over her words, "Um yes, alright, I....ok". Oh how brilliant she had messed that up, no matter it wouldn't matter in the long run. She took a step into the room and stared at the man near the board, a slight blush coloring her cheeks.

[Prof. Hikaru Tanaka]

Hikaru smiled again. The girl seemed a bit nervous, "I am Hikaru Tanaka." he said

[Bijou Le Fey]

Bijou sighed and stepped further in, she was over reacting to this situation, there was no reason to seem so stressed after all he was human. Bijou took a breath and quietly answered, "I'm Bijou Le Fey sir, am I in the right class room?"

[Prof. Hikaru Tanaka]

Hikaru laughed goodnaturedly, "Well are you planning on taking Occlumency? If you are, then yes. If not, then I guess I'll have to try and help you find the right room, won't I?"

[Bijou Le Fey]

"Why would I be here if I didn't plan on taking Occlumency?" Bijou answered quickly visibly relaxing as she began to understand the situation. Brilliant this class was going to fast become her favorite, she could tell. "Am I the first here?" she asked quickly turning a circle to see if anyone else would happen to appear.

[Prof. Hikaru Tanaka]

Hikaru smirked slightly. "Well do you see anyone else?" he asked deciding to give the girl a dose of her own medicine.

[Bijou Le Fey]

Bijou again felt herself blush, damn why had she been so silly, of course no one was here and yet she had managed to so far make a fool of herself in front of the teacher and further prove her ignorance.
"Sir please forgive me I just don't know anyone here, I was home schooled up to now and well frankly I am extremely nervous", Bijou blurted out trying desperately to fix the situation she had placed herself in.

[Prof. Hikaru Tanaka]

Hikaru smiled, "It's allright. I'm not even from this country, so you won't be the only one embarrasing yourself here, trust me!"

[Bijou Le Fey]

This caught Bijou's attention, so he was foreign this would be a first she had never met someone from overseas, let alone been taught by them. "Where do you come from sir?" Bijou asked moving toward the frount of the room as she spoke.

[Prof. Hikaru Tanaka]

Hikaru smiled, he loved it when people asked where he was from. It gave him a chance to tell them about his beloved Japan. "I'm from Japan. Tokyo to be exact." he answered.

[Sarie Thimble]

Sarie had heard that Hikaru Tanaka had gotten the job he had wanted. She ran to his class room. It would start in tens minutes and she wanted a good seat. "Professor Tanaka, its good to see you again." She said entering the room. She had met him in the forest. "As soon as I heard I came running I'm ready to learn. She needed Occlumency to keep her mind blocked from other peoples thoughts. Hikaru seem nice and she wanted to get know him and the only why to do that was take his class and she was ready.

[Prof. Hikaru Tanaka]

Hikaru turned towards the door and smiled at the new arrival. "Well hello Sarie, nice to see you again. And please, call me Hikaru. None of this 'Mr. Tanaka' stuff. It makes me feel old! And I'm only twenty-three!" he said laughingly.
