It wasnt like Amie to not be able to sleep, but something kept nagging at her. It was like, even though she was lay, nice warm and safe in her bed, something was telling her she needed to be somewhere else, and not tomorrow, whatever this feeling was, it was like it was telling her it needed to be now.
She tried to ignore this feeling, though it felt like it intensified everytime she rolled over and closed her eyes. Just ignore it Amie, your in an old castle its probably nothing more than uneasyness. She sighed and closed her eyes once more, and for a while it felt like it was passing. The covers were pulled tightly around her, she was cold and wanted all her body heat to stay in the bed. As she was nodding off, she felt a sharp prod in her stomach and she bolted upright. It was painful whatever it was and she was nervous now. Shaking a little bit as she looked around the dark room, she realised she was the only one awake, nobody else was awake.
Kicking the covers off the bed, she pulled on her jacket over her pajamas. "I'm going to regret this, i know i am" she said to herself as she took her wand off the side. Stepping lightly out of the dorm so she didnt wake anyone, she walked to the entrance of the common room and walked out. "Okay, you've got me up whoever you are. So whatever you want hurry up and lets get it over with."
Something was telling her in her gut to go left. "Left it is then" walking slowly and silently down the corridor. She sighed, looking around to make sure no-one was around she changed into her animagus form. She could see better in the dark as the puppy and it was too risky to light the tip of her wand.
After about ten minutes wandering, something made her stop and turn to her right. There was a drape there. Amie changed back into her human form and pushed the drape out of the side, it was a picture of four dogs. "I suppose i touch one?" At first she just stood there, looking at it. The four dogs were a husky, alsation, rottweiler and a golden retriever. Out of instinct she touched the husky's nose first, then the retrievers, then the rottweilers and last the alsations. The picture of the dogs fell back into the wall then slid to the side. Revealing a long forgotten passage way. It was long and dark, "Now you want me to go in there, dont you?" She took a step inside and just stood at the opening looking in. She didnt realise what was so important about whatever, or whoever, was wanting this done.

Alexine slightly opened her eyes as she heard the sound of footsteps which tried not to be heard.The 'thing, as Alexine could not see who or what it was, slowly looked around.Alexine wanted to say that she was there to, awake. The thing was coming really close to her but must not have seen her. Something told Alexine to shut her mouth. The thing rapidly had put on a jacket or a robe, you could not see it in this darkness. Alexine got out of bed and followed the thing with pointed toes.This must have looked weird but as long she knew there were no cat animagus in the common room she stealed on that way. The thing passed the entrance of the common room. She heard the thing speaking with the voice of a young lady. Alexine could not exactly hear the words she spoke, when she walked out she saw a little dog. Where was the girl?She thought the dog had seen her.Nothing happened, no-thing.How cute!She thought. She waited till the dog had trippled further away. She followed the dog to the left.It took centuries before the dog finally stopped. As it stopped it turned right. Alexine couldn't see what happened over there. The dog became taller and taller and got long hair, as far as Alexine could see. She saw that the girl/dog or maybe it was even a boy with long hair pushed something away. Alexine could see the sillouettes of something that could have been a curtain. She saw an arm touching a wall at four different places. Alexine heard a sudden sound but couldn't place it. The thing was moving through the wall. Was the thing she was following all the time just a ghost. By the time she thought that she realised that the thing should have appeared differently. Alexine ran to the place where the animagus, it must have been, stood a half minute ago.This was one incredibly long passage waythought Alexine. Alexine stepped inside and looked around and almost forgot a girl standing next to her. Maybe this lead to a secret room for even more secret meetings.[i/]She didn't knew. Alexine took a closer look at the animagus. It was a girl,as expected. S-sso,d-do you c-c-come h-h-h-ere of-f-ften?She stammered. Alexine was a bit afraid,maybe this girl was a dark witch or something like that,thinking is hard when you just get out of bed. This girl didn't gave her that feeling but you'll never know.

It was strange for Amie not to notice she was being followed when she was in her animagus form. Yet there stood another student, right beside her. Amie looked at her and gently shook her head, "No, I try to avoid familiarity with dark places." No sooner had Amie said this, a noise behind the two girls made her jump and look around. The passage entrance had been closed off, there was no way back.
Taking out her wand, Amie was unusually calm, "Lumos" she muttered as a green light eminated from the tip of her wand. She raised it higher above her head to try and see further down the passage way, but from what Amie could gather it seemed to stretch on forever. "Well... I dont suppose we have much of a choice but to go forward, do we?"
Amie took the first step and began to walk down the passageway, only stopping when she realised the other girl wasnt following her. "You just going to stand there and hope someone finds you?" she asked, "By my reconing, i'd say this place has been deserted for a very good time" Amie looked back down the passage, her brows furrowed, But the question is, why? The thought came to her as she continued on her way down the dark passage.

Alexine was shocked as the entrance had turn back in an ordinary wall again, with a curtain like thing before it. How could this girl be that calm? They were locked in an unknown old secret passage way with no food and without any contact with the outside world.The girl had asked her to follow. Alexine hadn't noticed. She followed the girl because she had this strange calmness, easy to trust. The girl was a Hufflepuff so what could go wrong?Alexine took her wand as she followed the girl. Lumos.she said. A light appeared at the tip of her wand.Alexine pointed her wand to the wall on the left side. She was looking for corpses or any other strange material.

The corridor was cold and definatly had a musty smell about it. Amie noticed more light come into the corridor and looked behind her, the other girl had lit the tip of her wand too. "So... Whats your name?" she asked. Since they were both stuck in a corridor with no way back, she figured she may as well know the other girl's name. "Im Amie" she told her.
Amie had a strange feeling this other girl wasnt as calm as she was. Though she knew in order not to panic, you had to keep a level head. Though her insides were churning and she was thinking all kinds of things, the latter staring with 'what if?' Amie's footsteps were echoing all around her and the only other things moving in here were spiders and rats. "Gross."

'Well.'She started with a small squeeky voice.'I am Alexine,Alexine Roise.''How did you get in?''There was something like a wall and a curtain and you touched it..?'
Alexine walked further the passage way in, she pointed the tip of her wand to the other side, where just need to be an end. What to do if there was an end without a door or something? Thank god she was locked with another witch, who was possibly smarter than Alexine was. Still no end, only more and more passage way.Alexine sighed as she walked back to the girl again.

"Pleasure to meet you Alexine" Amie looked at her when she asked her the question, so this girl was following her like Amie had suspected. "Erm, something like that yes." It was far to complicated to explain how she had ended up in here, least of all, she didnt want the entire school to know she was an Animagus, or that things were compelling her to do things.
Amie knew this was looking grim, the passageway seemed to be never ending, and with the way they came in, barred off, there was noway back either, and it was unlikely anyone would find them until their corpses had rotted. Lovely thought, that "Im sorry about getting you into this mess..." She said as she carried on walking down what Amie had now nicknames, the never ending passage, or the N.E.P.

"Wow,wow,wow,wow did you just see that?"Alexine said that with great surprise. Alexine pointed her wand at the wall she just saw something reflecting. There she saw one letter the N. When she moved her wand a few centimetres to the right she saw an E. She moved again a couple of centimetres she shocked a little bit from exciteness. She saw a P."Alright, we have N. E. P."Alexine moved again and again but NEP was the only thing they got."What the hell means Nep!? As long as we can't get out to go to the library we are stucked with NO CLUE. Alexine got even more desperate.She sat down and sighed."Nep
means fake in Dutch but that won't help us further!You can't help it ,I followed you it's my own fault, but I feel guilty that you're locked with a stupid dumb blonde wannabe, but that's the way it is whether you like it or not!"Alexine sighed again.This one was deeper because she was more desperate now.
