Sat cross-legged, head bent and studying the corridor floor with his fringe hanging over his eyes, Char frowned. His smooth palm hovered over five identical cards, each of them jokers and staring up at the Gryffindor with varying expressions on their faces.
"All right," Char whispered warily, his hand landing on the one furthest to the left. "You're the three of diamonds."
The card's former mischievous smirk morphed into an exaggeratedly shocked expression. Obviously Char had guessed incorrectly because two new cards slid out from a pocket in his book-bag, both jokers, and laying along-side the other five.
Char grimaced, running a hand through his hair exhaustedly. "Now I remember why I prefer Muggle decks," he said accusingly to the Ace of Hearts, the only card he'd managed to identify correctly. "No disillusionment charms on them."

Ghostly foot steps echoed through the corridors, as Marjorie made her way through the castle. She preferred to walk, then to float. Even though it had been years since her death, she still managed to wander around like a normal student, which she had almost convinced herself that she was. "If only it wasn't for that stupid 'walking-through-walls' thing." She muttered to her ghostly self.
Hearing someone say something about Muggle desks, Maggie quickened her steps, eager to see if there was a student to play with her. The voice wasn't to far, she realized, as she barley had turned a corner to find a boy playing, what seemed to be, cards. "Hi!" Her elven-year-old voice rang out. "What're ya playing?" She asked, sitting in front of him, smiling.
