Name: Martin James Maddock

Job Title: Potions Master, Head of Ravenclaw

Blood: Pureblood, little-known family.
Wand: Mahogany, 12”, Unicorn Hair
Pets: A Screech owl named Gonzo, numerous fish.
Personality: Easy-going and carefree. He loves teaching, especially when he finds a student who has an extracurricular interest in his subject. He’s a bit of a dork, with a strange affinity for growing weird plants in his windowsill and talking to his fish.
Appearance: Tall, thin, shaggy brown hair and blue eyes. Wire-rimmed glasses are always falling down his nose. He has a sort of endearing nerdishness.
History: He was a Ravenclaw prefect in Hogwarts and one of the candidates for Head Boy, though a dedicated Hufflepuff beat him. He landed an internship in St. Mungo’s after graduating Hogwarts with honors. After completing the internship he worked as a Healer/Researcher for 11 years before the job started to get to him. He traveled for about a year before seeking out the position at Hogwarts.
