Personality: Contrary to popular belief Goyle is a good person to talk to.Even if he doesn't express himself as well as Draco does, he gets his point across. He does understand people easily but he more then likely won't make sense if he tries to reply to someone else's thoughts. He is generally quiet and observes more then anything. He will see something and remember it, and will make sure to bring it up if necessary.He usually likes to hang out with Crabbe more then Draco because Draco will put him down more then Crabbe will. He loves to laugh and will laugh at anything remotely funny that he sees or experiences.His favorite stance is with his arms crossed in front of his chest and his legs evenly apart. He uses this stance for when Draco is verbally degrading someone. He feels it makes him seem a tad bit tougher then Crabbe.

But don't be mistaken Goyle is quick tempered and mean when he needs to be. He growls at people to scare them and grins manically while cracking his hard knuckles.Since he has known Draco and Crabbe for a long time he seems to stay close to them and resists to open himself up to anybody else.Whenever Draco is elsewhere he feels like things are out of sorts.He loves his family and that could possibly be his only weakness.

Appearance:If anybody gives him a first glance they will see a very big and very tall looking young man. His stature rises to about 6 foot from head to toe. His intensely curly chocolate brown hair usually hangs in his face as if it is a wild mane. His broad shoulders and long arms compliment his body structure, making him look like a muggle wrestler. He was once chubby yes but he worked out all holiday and made his baby fat covered body into something more attractive even if he still looked the same weight. His eyes are slightly almond shaped, small and deepset looking.These deepset eyes are covered by thick brown eyebrows.His upturned nose and moderately full lips complement his face making him look slightly brutish but attractive at the same time. He has a wide toothy smile that makes him look as if hes mad,since he doesn't smile that much.

Being a Goyle, gives Gregory the the pleasure of having so much clothes that he could suit the entire castle.He's never worn anything more then twice as his mother absolutely finds it nessicary to buy him new clothes every month.Other then his usual Slytherin robes and uniform, he wears his favorite jumper on weekends to Hogsmeade or just whenever he is lying around. His jumper can turn into a buttoned down shirt, as he feels it makes him a little more professional and smart. His jumper could be accompanied by a pair of track pants or even a pair of expensive wizard jeans. Seeing as he has about a hundred pairs of trainers, it takes him forever to find the perfect pair. He usually settles on his whitest pair of trainers, to join his attire. Seeing as he's always around Draco, his clothes are always primped and clean.

History:Goyle was born at home while his father looked on anxiously in the corner. He was always a prized child because he was the next generation in the Goyle family,and being a boy gave him a chance to carry on the family name.His mother treated him like the little prince he was and no price was too high for her son. Being a pureblood wizard he was taught to hate mudbloods and muggleborn, from day one. He was introduced to Draco and Crabbe when they were young making them the best of friends from a young age. His father showed him every dark artifact he owned, to show him the truth and interesting part of being on the dark side. His fathers hopes was one day he would follow in his footsteps and become one of the Dark Lords most honored followers.

A event from Goyle's childhood that stands out most vividly is from when he was about 7 years of age. He wandered from the manor's property into a small populated muggle village. When the village children began to tease Goyle about his weight, he got so angry that his magic over powered him. The result was 3 muggle kids with boils erupting all over their faces.The Ministry of Magic was on the scene in no time erasing memories and fixing the childrens faces. When the MOM tried to punish Goyle for his outburst,Lucius Malfoy was there for his defense and the event was erased from the files.The only reason Goyle got off unpunished was because of Lucius Malfoy and his connections with the Minister of Magic.

He was a lonely boy when Crabbe or Draco couldn't come over, so he usually wandered around in the muggle neighborhood around his family manor. One day he accidentally set his magic off and a family of muggles were alerted. Before Goyle could blink his eyes aurors and Law Enforcements from the MOM where in front of him casting memory charms and interrogating him. His mother was on the scene having heard about whathappend and hexed all the muggles insight. She wasn't arrested however as Goyle Sr said it was a misunderstanding and it would never happen again. Since that day Goyle was not allowed to go outside alone.

When he received his letter to Hogwarts, everything until the first day of school was a blur. Getting his supplies and robes and getting on the train seemed to be a distant memory. Crossing the Great Lake and getting sorted was like a past dream. More recent events consisted of the Tri Wizard Tournemnt and meeting Viktor Krum, the famousQuidditch seeker.One of his most vivid memories is coming home for holiday and finding out that the Dark Lord had came back and his father was called to duty.His holiday was hectic and fast and before he knew it he was back at school for another year without seeing his father once all holiday.

His next two years of school contained following around Draco as they held their head up high letting everyone know they were proud of their fathers and their status.But deep down, Goyle wanted to be a regular wizard, one that didn't have to worry about keeping a good status.

Gregory Goyle walked into the library on accident, and hated the fact that he hadn't left yet. A book had actually caught his eye this time so he picked it up and surprisingly opened it. He read the first few sentences and subconsciously sat down to get comfortable.The book spoke about Merlin, the ancient and highly respected wizard. It wrote of the legend behind him and King Arthur and various things that Goyle couldn't quite grasp.


After a few pages his eyes began to get irritated and he stopped reading to close his eyes for a second.
After he opened his eyes, he looked around confused, not remembering walking into the library. For a second he was going to get up and leave the book and walk out. He surely did not want to get caught in the library by anybody.

The library was pretty big and the walls were laced with books of all types. Goyle wanted to find the Dark Arts section but saw red ropes separating a section of the library. He groaned already know why it was roped off. There went his brilliant idea. He got up and walked to the first section that he found and grabbed two books. They were both on Transfiguration, one of his favorite subjects.

He sat down once again and opened up the previous book he had. It was pretty interesting and he couldn't stop reading. He felt reading bettered himself and would make him seem..a little less...dense. He gave up caring about who saw him or who knew he was in the library.
