Summer (2105) {Bray and Ash}

[Bradyn Reed]

Bradyn rolled his eyes at Fay. "Yeah, maybe I can learn how to just walk like that. And everyone would be like 'Hey, look at that loser. Let's jump him.'"

Still shaking his head a bit, he plopped down on a chair in Fay's room. "Just couldn't share a surname with your arse of a father?" Leaning back and putting his arms up across the top of the couch, he eyed Fay warily.

"So, have you seen Scott yet this summer? Or is it over between you guys because he's graduating?"

[Professor Ashton Laurent]

Ash snorted and stared at Bray as if his friend had lost it. Although sometimes he doubted whether Bray 'had it' in the first place. "Hell no! Are you kidding? I couldn't wait to change my name! Plus I like Laurent better anyway. Has a nice ring to it."

[Felicity Locke]

Felicity grinned innocently at Bray. "Fft, I wasn't planning that. You're just blowing things way out of proportion Bray. Gosh."

Fay layed back on her bed again, and Shoot moved to go lay by her head. She pet his pet while staring up at the ceiling. Twist jumped from Bray's arms and jumped onto Fay's bed. She curled up on Fay's stomach again, and it seemed Fay was in the same position as before her friends came. Huh, weird.

She glanced over to Bray, but her vision was blocked by the purring Shoot that lay next to her head. "He sent me a letter not too long ago." Felicity turned back to look up at the ceiling. "Hmm, you'd like thatt wouldn't you?" She shook her head. "No, he said he's getting a job at the school."

Bradyn rolled his eyes at Ash. "Geeze, Ash, shut up. You're so loud." He said grumpily. "I wasn't saying you shouldn't change your name."

Frowning a bit when the cat left him, he looked back towards Fay. "Oh, is he?" He said quietly. "Well, good, because I haven't met him yet."

Ash glared at Bray, the boy was really starting to get on his nerves. "I never said that. God Bray, you have got to stop blowing things out of proportion!" he snapped.

[Felicity Locke]

Felicity sat up a bit, but not enough to disrupt Twist. "Please you two, no fighting." She glared at both of them, then flopped back down on the bed.

"I thought you were going to meet him before the term ended or whatever." Fay layed one arm across her forehead. Ash seemed surprisingly quiet about the Scott Brooks thing. But, then again, she had only told him recently.

Ash narrowed his eyes, and clenched his jaw. "He started it! Not my fault he takes things too personally!" he muttered quietly under his breath.

Bradyn gaped at Ash. "Me, blowing things out of proportion?!" He shouted, jumping up and pointing down at Ash. "You were the one who started overreacting! Mention your dad, even in a comment about him being an arse, and you blow your top at people!"

Bray had been ignoring Fay for a while now, but after he moved to sit on the floor far enough away from Ash, he looked back at her with a frown. "I didn't have the time to meet him, but I did get some background information on him." From Maxi, of course, who said Scott was definitely not Fay's type.. but then again, if Max thought he was Fay's type, he obviously didn't know the girl.

[Felicity Locke]

Felicity's eye twitched. She should've seen this coming. Everytime these two were near each other they fought about something. Fay moved Twist from her stomach, and she gave a little mew in arguement.

She stood up, brushed herself off, and turned her glare on Ash first. "First off, Bray was only giving his opinion, so don't blow up on him." Fay whirled around to face Bray. "And you don't need to get so worked up about it." She flopped back down on the bed, and Shoot gave a hiss in the boys' direction. "So please sit down, make-up, and try not to fight again."

"Oh?" Felicity raised an eyebrow in Bray's direction.

Bradyn just scowled at Fay and half expected her to be like 'OK, kiss and make-up guys!' but thankfully, she wasn't, and he wouldn't have to kick her arse.

Instead of apologizing to Ashton for not doing anything, he just continued to ignore him. "Yeah, and I heard that he's not your type." Once again, he didn't mention Maxi finding them to be 'a suitable couple.'.

Leaning back on his arms, he looked back up at Fay. "Oh! Speaking of our significant others.. I broke it off with Bry before the term ended."

Ash just scoffed and rolled his eyes at Bray. However, his friend's next words caught him completely off guard. "You what? When Why?"

[Felicity Locke]

Felicity snorted in Bray's direction, but didn't sit up again. "If you haven't met the kid, how do you know he's not my type? And, since when do I even have a type? I haven't even dated anyone before!" She threw up her hands in exsasporation.

"Ha!" Fay stuck her finger in the air. "I totally knew it. Oh, oh, I am so good." Though she couldn't see her friends faces, she guessed they were probably giving her strange looks by now. Felicity gave a little giggle, and continued.

"Veelas are extra sensitive to love type feelings. Lust, like, I wanna marry you, that kind of stuff." She stuck her tongue out at Bray.

Bradyn snorted and rolled his eyes. "Well, if you would have asked me. I'd say you were into girls, why else would all your friends be guys?" He said, though he was being highly sarcastic. "Based on that, I'd say he's not your type."

Bray raised an eyebrow at Ash, at least he seemed to have caught the mo boys attention. "Because.. I didn't really have time with all the time I spend with you losers." Or maybe because he liked another girl more, but Fay probably already knew that. Darn veela powers, working against him.

Ash sent his friend a playful glare. "Hey!" Then he smirked, "Well if we're losers, then what are you? After all, you do hang out with us!" he quipped.
