Adriana nodded dumbly and smiled, not entirely sure what Loren had meant about watching from the sidelines, but it had sounded reasonable enough. She then mounted her broom and slowly rose into the air trying to get her bearings. It took her a couple seconds, but once she was settled she shot towards the nearest set of goal posts hoping that they were the correct ones to go to. She hovered around in front of the posts and practised flying quickly from one to another. She didn't entirely know what she was doing, but the flying back and forth made at least feel like she might have a chance even if it was a small one. When she felt she was sufficiently ready, she looked around to try and spot where the chasers had made off to.

Parker strolled quite confidently out onto the Quidditch Pitch. He gripped his broom tightly in his hand. There were already a few people out there; four people on the field, he counted, and two in the stands. He guessed that practise had already started and so he decided to jog to the middle of the pitch where one other boy still was. Once he was there, he grinned and said, "Parker Chittenden. I'm here to try out fer beater if that's alrigh' with yeh mate."

Charlie walked briskly onto the pitch with his broom in hand. He saw some people flying around on the field and a pair in the stands. Charlie had some experience with Quiditch, playing with his friends and what not. His favorite posistion was Keeper, mainly due to his experiences playing goalie in muggle soccer during childhood. He walked over towards the two boys that were gathered together on the field. He approached them and waited for his chance to introduce himself whike they finished their conversation.

Parker turned around as he heard someone walk up behind him. It was another boy. Must be trying out too, Parker thought. He nodded politely to the new arrival and smiled for a moment. "'Ello," he said, pushing his hair back from his eyes. "Parker Chittenden. Tryin' out fer beater. Whatchu here fer?" Inwardly, he hoped very much that the boy was not there to also try out for beater, but if he were, Parker felt pretty confident that he'd still get to be on the team.

With her hand to her eyes Loren watched Adriana mount her broom and shoot towards the goal posts, inspecting the girl's movements and speed. Adriana had looked unsure of herself at first, but Loren could not see any immediate problem thus far, and giving a satisfactory wave she turned to greet the two new Ravenclaw boys who had just arrived together.
'Great to meet you, Parker - I'm Loren Hayes, captain.' She shook his hand, giving him an appreciative nod. 'Beater? That's perfectly fine actually! I haven't managed to even hear about anyone interested in being a beater recently, you have no idea how much I need you're right now. Even one is useful.' She added with a small laugh. The other boy behind Parker had remained rather quiet so far, and as Parker introduced himself a second time and asked what he was here for, Loren looked at him imploringly.
Turning, Loren saw that Russel and Adriana were still hovering about a little impatiently. 'Oh - and this is Russel, over there's Andie and that's Adriana.' She said, pointing to each in turn. The boy that was not Parker still had not spoken, and Loren knew the practise had to get going. 'Sorry, but I don't know your name...'

"Oh sorry" Charlie replied to the girl "Forgot to introduce myself, I am Charlie Ackers, 5th Year" as he extended his hand to her. "I would like to tryout for the team, Keeper is my best position, but I can play any posistion you need." He added hopefully.

"Nice to meet yeh, miss," he said, nodding in her direction. "An' yeh too, Charlie. So, when we goin' to start? And wha' should I do seeing as there's only the one of me?" He clasped his hands together and grinned stupidly. He was anxious to begin seeing as he hadn't played the sport in a few weeks. Then he was struck by a sudden thought. He'd forgotten to bring his bat with him to the tryout, but rather than beat himself up about it he inquired after one. "Er... excuse me, miss? But yeh haven't an extra bat lying around, have yeh? I'd be very much obliged if yeh did..."

Adriana was getting a bit bored just swooping from one goal to the next. So, she decided it was time to "take it to the next level" or at least that's what she told herself. She thought she'd try out a double eight loop, something her older brother had once told her about. All she had to do was do a figure eight around the goals very quickly. It sounds easy enough, she thought. Gripping the handle of her broom tightly, she leaned forward and began her loop. She nearly lost her hold on the broom as she came down into the second hard turn, but she managed to stay on. As she became more comfortable with the maneuver, she built up her speed until she was going quite quickly.
After about two minutes of this, she stopped, a little dizzy, and looked around to see why no one had come to shoot on her yet. Two other people had arrived since she had started and she was tempted to go down and meet them, but wasn't sure whether or not she had the time. Then she saw Loren point at her. She waved and smiled at the new comers, assuming she'd just been introduced, though she doubted whether or not they could tell she was smiling from where she was. She'd wait a bit more before flying down to see what was going on.

Russell, upon hearing his orders, jumped onto his broom and hovered a few feet above the ground. He looked at Loren, waiting for her to make her move but she had become distracted by two newcomers.
He smiled his lopsided grin at the first when he introduced himself to them and added a little wave when Loren introduced him. "Call me Rus," Russell said, looking from the two nex boys to the girl he guessed was called Adriana. Then he noticed her anxioty and turned to Loren again, "you ready to get started then, Captain?"

Alana walked quietly onto the pitch, her Nimbus 2001 clutched tightly in her hand. She looked around at the others. "Is this the tryouts for the Ravenclaw Quidditchteam?"

Loren grinned as she rose high into the air, seeing that Adriana, in her bordom, was trying out a few daring maneuvers. Russell was equally raring to go but as she looked at him imploringly, throwing the quaffle high into the for him to catch and shouting 'We're coming!' to Adriana, a pale, raven haired girl swept onto the pitch with her Nimbus casually thrown over her shoulder. Well I can't complain. This is practically a full team now...
'Hello!' Loren called from her great height, keeping one eye on Russell in case he decided to send her a surprise pass. 'Yes, this is definitely Ravenclaw I think,' she said in mock thoughtfulness. 'What position do you intend to try out? Every position except for beater and chaser has been filled. Keepers already been nabbed I'm afraid, but second beater and third chaser a certainly need.' Loren looked at Charlie.. 'You were here first, which one do you think you'd like to have a go at?' she asked, hoping the new girl would not mind last picks.

Alana gave a rare smile. "I'd like to try out for Chaser please. If that's allright?" Alana swung her leg over her broom and kicked off from the ground, rising until she was about fifteen feet up, and hovered in the air

Jonathan climbed into the stands briskly with a smile on his face. The day was perfectly sunny, and upon entering the common room to find it empty he realised Loren must have decided the quidditch team tryouts would do best on such a fine day, and so he had set out down toward the pitch in hopes of perhaps bonding with a few of the Ravenclaws he was so good at ignoring.
Of course, he only managed a quick sweep of the fliers before he noticed Bree sitting on the rows above him, and he grinned his usual toothy grin and began to clamber up to her. 'Bree!' He greeted as he dropped down next to her. 'Should've know you were here.' He said, raising a hand to protect his gaze from the sun. He waved at several of the fliers, few that he recognised apart from Loren. Merlin I hate her, he thought, one that he usually did so upon seeing the seventh year.

Bree smiled at the proceedings, they were getting along with much support she was happy to note. Trust Ravenclaws to show up when bidden. She crossed her arms and sat back, grinning gleefully.
Then a face she had not seen for a while came towards her. "But I didn't think you'd be here," she said in mock greeting. She laughed at the joke and turned back to the tryouts. "They seem to be doing well considering." She smiled and laughed again.

"Well" Charlie replied to Loren, ignoring the other girl "Ill take the Chaser position that is open. Although, if I may say so, your current keeper doesnt look exactly like a great Keeper." He added with a nod towards the girl who was flying around the goalposts unsteadily. "Not to be arrogant or anything, but I think I could do a bit better." He hoped he hadnt come off as too stuck up, he was just being honest.
