A cup of cider

"Ah, well I knew an old Slytherin who went here that broke all the rules of being a Slytherin. He graduated two terms ago. I was close friends with his family. I was the only one who went to his parents funeral." he said. "Wow, so that means one of your parents has blond hair. It's kind of weird picturing you with blond hair." he said, the thought was weird, but her sister could probably pull it off.

"well," said bella. "she basically looks exactly like me, but she has blonde hair and blue eyes, and im brunette with emerald eyes. and why were you the only one to go to their funeral? did no one like thier mock-slytherinness?"

"No one really cared, except me of course. Well neither of them wanted a big funeral, they didn't want anyone to be sad on a great day." he said, that is what he was told, but he didn't fully believe it.

"oh," said bella sensitively. bella thought they sounded very unpopular. probably for not upholding slytherin values. they would be outcasted by slytherins for that reason, and outcasted by the rest for being slytherins.

"and actually, i was expecting my sister soon, so you might get the chance to meet her." bella said, sipping her coffee.

Adéline shifted uncomfortably, a new cup of cider in her hands. Slytherins made her feel awkward as well as intimidated, and she felt small as they chatted on about her family.

She wasn't very interested, to say the least. She didn't expect on meeting the girls again, so their appearance wasn't high on her priority list.

"Oh she's coming?" She finally let out, gathering her bags. "I suppose I should be going then."

She didn't want to be alone with the Slytherins, and the terror in her eyes displayed that. "Sorry about your robes!" She called over her shoulder to the Professor, before escaping outside.
