The place was unusually quiet for this time of day, he remembered when it was all packed full of students. Himself being one of them. Though now the time where he graduated had indeed come, and for a while he didnt know what he wanted to do. Though he knew he wanted to come back to Hogwarts, to the place he loved the most, but do what?
Assistant Teacher came to mind.
Thats what Kieran did, he gathered up his things and sent an owl to the head of the school to see if there were any openings, and indeed there were. Assistant teacher to his favourite subject, Divination. Kieran got extreamly giddy and exciteable when the owl came back with the acceptance letter and rushed off to go and find his new career.
Kieran dumped his stuff in a room here, in the three broomsticks and came downstairs for a drink. It was still quiet so he could only assume the students were still at school. Which was a shame really, he would have loved to catch up with some of the people he knew from there.
Ordering a butterbeer, rather than a firewhisky, he went and sat down at one of the corner tables and glanced out of the window. The streets too were deathly silent, oh no.. Wait. He spotted one. A student. Though who it was he couldnt tell.
About ten minutes later, the street was bustling with them, students. As was the three broomsticks. Now he remembered, what it was like to feel the excitement of the Hogsmeade trips. He missed being in school. Though he was dragged out of his thoughts by a voice behind him.

Sophie had heard a rumour, not a scandalous rumour that swept through the school like a flash flood, but for her an even greater prospect of gossip; Kieran was fabled to be coming back, immediately Sophie had dropped her studies, she'd barely needed an excuse to they were that boring, and had gone to see Professor Vickers, who had confirmed the truth of the rumours; Kieran was to be his assistant teacher. Sophie couldn't quite believe it, he was clearly suited to helping others and being a wonderful teacher, but last she'd heard from him he'd been applying for a post at the ministry, and people who entered there seemed to never come out; according to Fitz anyway.
Sophie was impatient for her next Divination lesson to get underway, but it wasn't until next Thursday, she'd scoured the castle for Kieran with Will as he patrolled, yet she hadn't found him. She'd all but given up.
Deciding she needed a well earned break from solid study Sophie came down into hogsmeade, mainly to be socialble than actually purchase anything for a change, but there was rumour of an upcoming dance, she'd have to get a new dress for that one. Strolling about with Georgina and Phil throughout the shops Sophie had grown a little bored and thirsty to boot, she could easily quench her thirst but boredom was likely to remain she believed. Until she stepped into 'The Three Broomsticks', there he was, as bold as brass, she would recognise that messy, though doubtless he'd claim it stylish, hair anywhere. "Kez!" She cried joyously bounding over nearly knocking an elderly warlock of his unsteady feet. Blushing terribly she apologised profusely, "sorry, sorry it was an accident." The elderly warlock promptly shook his head resignedly, thinking there was no hope for the youth of today. Without a second thought Sophie smiled aplologetically and hurled herself at Kieran hugging him from behind as he slurped his drink. She had so much to ask him, but where to begin?
Her usual bubbly energy overflowed and she beamed at her old friend "how are you? Where've you been? What have you been up to?" She demanded in quick succession.

Kieran hadnt been told just yet about what he was doing in the classroom. Was he just there to support the kids? He didnt mind, he was a socialite to boot. As long as he could stand there, look cute, and sound smart, that was what he was going to do. The music poured out in the three broomsticks, he wasnt used to this slow kind of music, after being at home and hitting all the clubs with the faster dance tunes, it was strange. Even stranger to be sat in the exact same place he used to.
Kieran hadnt realised how much he had actually missed this place, it was like his second home, well it was his second home, not like it. A breeze came through an open window and blew his hair. Catching it with his hands he glared at the window. How dare it try and mess his hair up! Didnt these windows have any respect?
Trying to make it go back in the style it was supposed to be in with mass amounts of gel he carried in his pocket he stuck it back. Picking up his drink and downing half the glass, man he was thirsty. He heard a shout of Kez! from somewhere and immediatly choked on his drink, though that was nothing when someone battered him with a hug from behind. A lot of his drink went flying across the table, though he didnt mind, he knew that voice anywhere, and was glad to finally see her again. Turning round and giving her the biggest squeeze he could muster he answered her, "Hey Soph! Im grand my darling and yourself?" He asked with a smile on his face, biting his lip ring as he spoke, "I havnt been anywhere, but back home hitting the clubs as usual. Let me guess... Your head has been stuck in a book?" He smiled giving her another hug, "Ahh its great to see you again!" he gave a small exciteble squeel.

Sophie laughed happily, it really was good to see Kieran once again; in his usual high spirits. "Woah don't give me a bear-hug," she chided with a giggle; though he really didn't know his own strength, there were slight finger impression marks upon her arms, which were exposed to the elements, having taken off her stylish jacket as she entered the bustling pub. As she received another hug she knew Kieran was just as happy to see her, but she had to best it still; by lightly giving him a french kiss upon his right cheek.
"Oh it's wonderful to see you too Kez," She remarked "I'm pretty splendid, except for the exams of course, eugh they're a pain, especially Divination, I'm dead worried about that." She sighed indignantly; work really had a way of taking over life, she barely had enough time to straighten her hair in a morning.
Hands on hips Sophie shook her head mock chidingly once more, "so you're telling me that whilst I've been slaving away, you've been dancing each and every night? It hardly seems fair." She stated smiling, knowing her time would come soon enough.
"Will you buy me a drink then?" She prompted teasingly, knowing he would soon offer anyway, besides she was parched and in dire need of a warming butterbeer. "Did you meet any handsome guys or gorgeous gals on your travels then?" She asked knowing he would have been flirting with anyone and everyone.

Kieran laughed, he had indeed missed Sophie, the fun times they used to have together in school, all the little praks they used to have. Not to mention Sophie used to take the mick royally out of him for being so image concious. "You know me Soph, i love my hugs!" He said with a smile. Kieran and hugs were like a package deal, nothing could beat his hugs. Or so he told himself anyway. Sophie planted a kiss on his cheek and he flustered slightly, rubbing the back of his head "Aww shucks, ta darling" he smiled.
"Ah, i remember the times i had to study for mine, not that i ever did" He laughed, Kieran hadnt been one for studying that much, but he still managed to pass even so. "Oh Divination! Thats the easiest subject going you doof, it must be if i can do it" Kieran grinned wildly, "Ill help you out with it if you like!"
Kieran nodded, "Indeed, i have been dancing the night away until my feet screamed no more! Then i just danced harder" Kieran loved catching up with old friends, and true the age difference between Sophie and himself was quite large, they had personalitys that matched so it didnt matter. Besides, age was just a number right?
"Esk" Kieran said putting his hands in his pockets, "How rude of me, i completly forgot" he smiled as a waitress came by, "Oh what timing, two butterbeers please, and one for your fine self" Kieran winked at the young barmaid as she scurried off to get their drinks. "Of course i did, there was Tony.. He was just every gay guys wet dream. Danielle, stunning im telling you, and then there was Damien. Can i just say wow! Of course nothing ever happened between these people and myself considering they are my drinking partners" He laughed sheepishly, "But theres still plenty of time for that!"

As Kieran began to divulge his various antics throughout his years away Sophie smirked, trust him she thought shaking her head and smiling all the more.
"Yeah you do love your hugs, cuddles, kisses and more," She teased giving his nose a prod, he was always so image concious far worse than the average girl in fact. She'd known him to take well over three hours to ready himself for a night out. "Oh don't I get one in return," she teased quickly dodging so he couldn't repay the favour "no I suppose you'd better save your kisses for someone else."
"Well yeah you were far to busy distracting me, my grades have flown up since you left," She joked "but honestly I'd really appreciate help with Divination, because it is really difficult." Seeing the dubious look on his face she added "ok just for me it is, but you'll never beat me in a duel," Sophie loved her banter with Kieran, and really she could easily jinx him, he'd never been one for learning any defence charms, unless he'd changed, which she very much doubted.
Sophie laughed at the visual image of his dancing floated into her memory "yeah you're alright I suppose, you had some strange moves though," She chuckled not that she could actually dance well, or so she thought. "I've just two left feet, or just two right feet, either way I'm never graceful," She stated giving a small playful pout. "Ah well I can't be good at everything like you are."
As Kieran began to outrageously flirt with the barmaid she gave her an apologetic look and said, "he means nothing by it, he's never really flirted before." As the barmaid returned with their drinks she shook ever so slightly when handing the butterbeer to Kieran, in fact Sophie could have sworn that they did briefly touch fingers, half expecting lightening to flash between them she hid her grin by bringing up her own glass and daintily sipping the refreshing liquid.
Waiting for the barmaid to see to another customer Sophie leaned in to Kieran and whispered "see the old tricks still work, we were always a great team." They had often done the same routine of him shamelessly flirting but Sophie backing him up and calling him a nice guy; which he really was. They had always helped each other out.
"She's glancing your way now. Oh no she's probably smitten with you already, I should have let her just think you a shameless flirter." She teased gladly, his antics always kept her amused, flirting with everyone in sight was just his way. At least he didn't go to pieces like she did whenever a good looking guy came her way.
Rolling her eyes and smirking as she imagined his partners in crime she commented dryly, "oh yeah just drinking partners, that's not like you at all. Which one did you prefer though? Guy or gal?" She constantly asked this question and usually received the same reply; that she'd find out when she met them, which was never satisfying.
"You must have liked one more than the others." She coaxed knowing the tables would likely soon be turned upon her, if she didn't keep firing questions, not that she actually had anything to hide from him, she just became embarrassed talking about her own love-life, or lack of it at the minute.

Kieran couldnt hide the excitement in his eyes, he really was happy he was back here and dind twant to leave anytime soon. Unless it was force.
"Nothing beats a good hug or kiss" Kieran felt his nose being prodded and pulled a random face at her. Sticking out his tongue he said, "Well if you didnt move id give you a smacker to remember" he laughed winking at her.
"Hey! I wasnt the bad influence! Its not my fault you were so mesmorised by me that you followed me everywhere you went, seriously you were like a little Kieran groupie!" He laughed, half waiting for a slap, which was what he usually got off her. "You've never been that good with divination have you?" he commented, "Of course ill help you"
Kieran thought back to the times spent in the club, and flushed when he thought about how he danced, it was outragious, far to sexual to tell anyone. Serious hip grinding things. Usually with Tony or Damien. "Oh come on! Its easy to dance! Right ill teach you sometime" he laughed, it would be fun to try and teach someone how to dance.
Kieran winked at the barmaid again, giving Sopie a little kick to the foot. Kieran took his drink for the barmaid, letting his hand glide ever so slightly over hers. "Thank you, beautiful" he winked again as she walked off to find another customer. Kieran had to hide his laughter in the bottom of his drink as he looked at Sophie. "What!" He said with a smirk.
"You didnt expect them not to did you?" Kieran said with a sly smile, "You know me, i can charm anything" Kieran looked back over to the barmaid, she was indeed looking his way. She was quite a looker too. He blew her a small kiss and winked again, turning back to Sophie he laughed, "Well everyone becomes smitten with me at least once in their lives" Kieran stuck his tongue out at her. He had really missed this, ever since school, Kieran and Sophie had always made the greatest team, and now they were back together, who knew what silly things they would get up to.
"Well you'll have to see when you meet them wont you?" Kieran smiled, always the same answer, never a straight one. Kieran gazed out of the window and up at the clock, he'd be getting ready to hit the town by now. Sighing as he brought up his drink to have a sip.
"Yeah maybe i did, maybe i didnt." Kieran looked at her, "Anyway enough about me. Who's the lucky guy with you now?" It had been years since he had seen Sophie, and she had indeed grown up. She was actually very pretty, she always was. But Kieran would never tell her that, no way was he having her head grow bigger than it was. Smiling at her he waited for her responce.
