Maeve looked at Andie. "She's right, you know. We have no idea what this river dance thing is. When you first said it, I thought it was people dancing in rivers. But, tell us what it is. But, don't go to into detail, I don't have a good attention span sometimes." she joked.
When the old lady came out, Maeve bit her tongue from laughing at Diana. She kept letting little bits of her laugh out as Diana asked the old lady questions.

Tim hissed as Diana joked to him. "Unfortunately," he hated shopping more than anything. "Well at least I'll look hot for the..." his eyes met the sign and he let out a laugh, "Fashyon." He couldn't help it, the name was just too funny.
As he heard Andie trying to escape he smirked. "Oh no you don't," he looped his arm into hers. "If I can't go anywhere I don't think it would be fair if you could," he whispered playfully in her ear.
Then watched as the older lady walked out he sighed. "I need something formal, crisp, and something that will make me look.. well better off than all the other chaps.." he hissed lightly. "What do you sell here anyways," he said as his eyes looked around the shop.

Andie laughed lightly. "No, Riverdance is just the name of the musical. But Irish Step Dance is a traditional form of Irish dance, and it's important to me because my father was a world famous dancer in the Riverdance dance troupe before he met my mother, my father was a muggle. And my family on both sides is Irish, so Irish Step Dance is a way for me to connect with my Irish heritage. That's why it's so important to me. I'm sorry I got so upset with you guys."

Diana smirked at Tim's sudden laughter. The sign was pretty funny but she held it in as she spoke with the clerk.
The clerk replied to them, "Yes we have dazzling dresses and Sir I'm sure we have something of your liking." As she spoke her voice was confident and her silver hair shown in the light. For an older woman she was rather cute, Diana thought to herself. She didn't really see very many cute older people, but luckily the ones she did see where in her family.
When Andie spoke, Diana smiled. "It's quite alright Andie I would have been off my rocker if someone laughed at something I liked... but you must understand that when you say Riverdance... we think dancing on the river.." she laughed lightly at the thought. "It does seem fun though... charm the river and to be able to dance on it?" she said curiously.

Maeve strayed a bit while they were talking to the old lady. She walked to one of the dress aisles, that were taller than her, and stared wide eyed at a few of them. They looked eighteenth century! She hated those dresses. She glanced at all of them and sighed. She hoped she wouldn't have to wear one of these dresses. She walked over to one in particular that was a bright yellow with, if possible, even brighter orange lace surrounding it. "Oh my Merlin." she mumbled disgusted. "Who made these?"
When she heard the dancing on rivers comment, she replied just loud enough for them to hear her, "I'm going to try that later tonight! It does sound like fun." she went back to looking at the eighteenth century dresses wondering who'd actullay wear them.

Andie gave Maeve a small smirk. "Haha. Very funny Maeve." She proclaimed as she rolled her eyes good-naturedly. Looking around she wrinkled her nose at the selection of dresses. Not at all her style.

Tim noticed the yellow dress that Maeve had chosen. "How...quaint?" he said simply. "But Maeve... is yellow really your color?" he smirked at the hideous dress. Then looking at Diana, he hissed, "Let's bounce." He was not liking anything they had here and would much rather buy something much more, him. Looking at the older woman, "Thank you... but I think we're going to try another store."
As Maeve spoke about 'river dancing' he smirked. "Of course I am going to have to join you," he spoke lightly. "Should I bring my trunks?" he asked opening the door for the girls.

Andie burst out laughing at Tim's comment about riverdancing. "Oh my god, you people are insane!" Then she gave him a mock curtsey as he held the door open for all the girls. "Why thank you, kind gentleman." She mocked playfully.

When Andie came by, Maeve about laughed at her face. "Yeah, I'm not liking these things either."
Maeve shook her head at Tim. "I hate yellow, no offense, Grace." she added just to be sure she wasn't being misunderstood for hating Hufflepuff, since she didn't. "And I hate the eighteenth century look. It's to...fancy." she said, putting the dress back. "I think I'm with you." Then she whispered just so the other teens with her could hear, "Let's find a shop that knows how to spell. Those tend to be good shops to find things we can breathe in."
"Of course, Tim. Why would I object? Anyone else care to join?" she smirked. "Sure, you can bring your trunks if you think the spell will wear off. That'd be a great time for Andie to teach us what riverdancing is. I pay more attention when we actually get to do something rather than listen."

Andie gave a groan before walking over to the nearest doorframe and banging her head into it repeatedly. Then turning to face her fellow shoppers, she sighed heavily and said with a trace of exasperation, "For the last time, there is no such thing as Riverdancing, that's just the name of the muggle entertainment show. The dancing that they do like I've said for the past, oh I don't know five times! Is Irish Step Dance." She gave them all a level stare. "Now do you understand? Or do I have to draw it in crayon for you?"

Maeve grinned. "I know, I know. I grasped that part, I meant the actually dancing part. The step thing you just said." she laughed. "Don't get mad at me. I purposely piss people off to see how far they bend before breaking. Ask anyone of my fellow Slytherins, I've broken everyone one of them at one point. You just can't let me find your weakness. And yours happens to be explaining what dancing this step thing is to us, or at least at this moment it is."

Andie tilted her head as she considered Maeve's words, her red curls shining in the late afternoon sunlight and emerald green eyes sparkling as usual. "Hmm... well, are you familiar with tap dancing?" She inquired, hoping that the answer would be, "Yes."

Maeve thought for a bit. She knew some dances from all those Merlin-forsaken classes her parents made her take. That step thing wasn't one of them, though. She thought for a tap dance. She had heard of it. "Yeah, isn't it--" she did a small short tap dance. "--That?"

As the girls spoke Tim smirked. "Oh so Irish step... does that involve stepping on an Irish lad?" he asked curiously but smiled at the other girls to show them that he was only joshing. "Can I still bring my trunks... and can we still go in the river?" he looked around at everyone with a curious expression.
When Maeve did her dance Tim watched her. "Tap dance... obviously you tap your feet," he said plainly. "I was...unfortunately, taught Ballroom dances," he said looking away. "It wasn't my idea, my parent's wanted me to be fit for their evening parties," he said with a grumpy face. "But trust me I shock myself at how excellent of a dancer I am," he said in a confident voice.

Andie smiled as Maeve did her tap dance. "Yeah! it's a little like that, except with Irish step dance, the feet movements are a bit different. For one they're alot quicker, in fact sometimes they're so quick that you can barely see their feet! And Irish step dance also puts a huge emphasis on a stiff upper body, so while your legs and feet may be going, who knows how fast, your upper body will be moving very little, or not at all."
