"Are we going to eat all of this?" Lidia asked, pointing to all of the food. It all looked great, but there was so much of it. She sat there and watched Adam as he picked something out for himself.
((oh, homework sounds like a good idea. I have at least 4 hours.))

Adam smiled. "Perfect! Just what I would've picked!" he handed a dish to Lidia and took one for himself. He took a bite and set the plate down. Putting his arm around Lidia he pulled her into a gentle hug. "So, how was your first 'official' date?" he asked with a twinkle in his eyes

Lidia smiled at Adam. "Yeah, it just looks good." She said, taking the dish. "Mmm.." She sighed, as she took a bite. Her body blushed as he pulled her into a hug. "Well, it was strange, but I loved it." Lidia said, as she kissed his cheek. "Thank you so much." She whispered.

Adam smiled and pulled Lidia in close. His lips brushed hers teasingly before capturing them in a passionate kiss. As he kissed her, he wrapped his arms around her neck, and ran his fingers through her hair. Finally after several long moments, he pulled back. "Does that answer your question?" he whispered with a smile

Lidia couldn't help it when her heart started to race. She almost wanted to slap him for teasing her. Adam was absolutely amazing. When he wrapped his arms around her neck, her arms went around his middle. Lidia laughed a little, "Yes." She said, trying to catch her breath. She laid her head on his chest, listening to his heart beat. "I've never been this happy before. It's kind of surprising that I would be with someone I just met." Lidia said. She wasn't known for giving her trust away so freely. If you did it meant that that person could hurt you and being hurt is something that Lidia doesn't need.

"I know" Adam whispered in reply, "When I first saw you, I... felt a connection between us. And now I'm finally realizing just how strong that connection really is." Adam ran his fingers through Lidia's hair and sighed happily. "I love you." he whispered as he placed a gentle kiss on top of her head. "And I will never let anything happen to you. I promise."

"Yeah, I know what you mean. I felt it too." Lidia said, closing her eyes. She didn't want this moment to end. When Adam said 'I love you.' Lidia didn't know what to say or think. "Did you just say that you love me?" She asked tilting her head so she could see his face. Lidia smiled, "I love you too." This was so very new to her, she didn't want to let him go. "I wish this moment could last forever. Wow, how corny did that sound?" She said, with a slight laugh. "I hope so." Lidia whispered.
