Scott laughed, "Are you ok?" he asked looking at her. He had heard good things from the classes she had just talked about and that was the thing about it. He wanted classes that people didn't want to take because of difficulty or just avoidance. He liked a challenge.
Scott sighed, remember when Delaney had gotten him to sign up for one of the dumbest classes he ever heard of and found out it was actually fun and had some interesting experiences with. With that thought, his mind brought him back to Laney and what she is probably doing right now. He figured she'd be sitting at home in her room talking to Sophie or one of her other friends.
When Scott realized he was dazing off, he cleared his throat and looked back at the wall. "Sorry, I was just thinking," he said with a small chuckle.

"Ya, I'm fine." She smiled and looked at Scott. He looked like he was a million miles away, and seemed content. She stayed quiet he seemed so happy she didn't want to distrub him. "It's ok, I don't mind. What were you thinking about? I don't want to pry so you don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

Scott picked up a little pebble by his shoe and tossed it at the wall opposite of them, "I was thinking about the past and I life I left," he said with a faint smile.
He sighed, "I was thinking of my ex-girlfriend, Delaney. She told me I had to choose between her and a life I never knew but wanted so much to understand," he began to explain, "She wanted nothing to do with the wizarding part of me, only the pretend part. My parents didn't want me to grow up the way they did, shunned for what they were," Scott looked at her, "But you know what? I don't understand why they feel so ashamed of who they are. Being a wizard is who I am," he looked at the wall again and through another pebble, "And when I tried explaining that to Delaney, she called me a freak and pretty much told me that she never wanted to see me again."
Scott shrugged and gave a chuckle, "I guess some people only see the ones they love for who they want them to be, and not who they really are. I thought Laney was perfect, that I could tell her anything and that she'd except me for being a wizard," he looked down, "Apparently I was wrong. I mean, I dated her for a year and a half and she runs at the very thing I wanted to tell her most," he sighed.
Scott looked back at Deianira and shrugged, "Unlike my parents, I'm not ashamed and I told her that there was no way I'd give my life up for someone who couldn't except me for who I was, and she freaked even more. So now I'm here, and I'm talking to you." Scott laughed, "I can't beleive I actually told you that."

Deianira smiled slightly. "I understand, I had muggle friends and I lost quite a few of them when I told them I was a Witch. Some of them thought I was crazy and some thought I thought I was more special."
She smiled wondering why he would tell her these things about him. "You said I was easy to talk to.... I guess I am."

Scott suddenly began to feel a little uneasy. He shifted his eyes to the pebbles sitting near his shoe and grabbed for them. He didn't know what to say next, he couldn't even think of something completly stupid that usually got him in trouble with girls.
Scott shifted slightly and repositioned himself. He kept his eyes fixed on the stone wall opposite of him, hoping some words would come to him, and fast.

Narcissa was wandering the dungeons when she heard voices. She was just about to turn around when she thought she recognized a voice. "Scott?" She asked into the darkness.
