Brian quickly grew angry at what she had said. "You know any half blood is better than scum like you." he said his normal brown eyes getting a red tint to them. "Also, I actually respect the muggle community with more respect than your tiny brain could handle." he said tighting his fists and cracking his neck. He needed to cool off.

As Marishka joined the conversation Nathan found it hard not to smile, although her punch and insult quickly made that very rare emotion not possible. Then the person who Nathan now dubbed as ‘Brian the muggle lover’ seemed to be finding that he could not longer come up with anything better to say then protect Muggle-born’s. His gaze fell sharply on the boy and slowly Nathan thought he best protect his female acquaintance.
“I have to agree, you are not really Slytherin material. Please tell me, when the sorting hat was on your head did it want you to go into Hufflepuff?”
Not waiting for the muggle lover to answer back, Nathan continued to belittle the supposed Slytherin.
“Why don’t you go back to your girlfriend and weep into her shoulder. Or has she become sick of you also. Because why else would an ex-pupil be sitting in the common room. Have you no life?”
A slim, cruel smirk entered through the corners of his mouth and as he watched the anger flood through the boy.

Marishka laughed loudly, taunting and shrill. 'You're absolutely right, Nathan, he is a Hufflepuff.' She paced forward now, putting her hands on Brian's shoulders and circling him. 'Well they don't respect you, Chase. If muggles ever found out witches and wizards weren't just old stories it'd be the hangings all over again!' she told him bitterly, narrowing her eyes in seriousness as she came to stand in front of him once more.
'And believe me, muggle lover, I can handle plenty of respect.' she declared self-righteously, removing her fringe delicately from her eyes. Marishka looked at Nathan now, a mean smile on her face. 'Oh, LC is just as bad as him!' she laughed with mirth. 'She's so lardy-dar it's sickening!'

Adair walked slowly down the dormitory staircase, his fingers still clasped delicately onto the railing as he took his last step. The scene unfolding was nothing out of the ordinary, and he only arched an eyebrow passively as he walked out into the open.
"If you want to get anywhere after Hogwarts," he said, his apathetic expression clear on his face as he pushed passed the small crowd to get to one of the armchairs just across the room. "You'll have to hold back your petty remarks about Muggles and pretend to love them..."
He smirked slightly, throwing open one of his notebooks and working his quill onto the parchment with invisible ink. "While working against them discretely." He shrugged, resting one leg over the other and staring at his shiny shoes indifferently. "But, I wouldn't expect anyone else here to know the art of manipulation."

"Marishka, can you please get your smelly hand off my shoulder." he said brushing her hand off and growing more angry. ----INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT---- as they began to disrespect his girlfriend. "Well Marishka, I must say, you are the bloody worst person I know" he said blinking quickly and chanted a quick spell. ----INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT----

Smirking at the remark about LC, Nathan was about to join in once more and throw some more insults when ‘Brian the muggle lover’ attempted act like a Slytherin. However his remarks seemed to have the opposite effect. Nathan let out a bark of a laugh and started to hold his stomach as he tried to re-again his composer.
“A smelly hand, is that it? Is that the best you could come up with?”
His laughter was cut short however by the many drips of blood from the ceiling. A look of disgust filled his face at seeing the lovely common room be ruined in such away. At first he thought it was a trick from one of the many ghosts, but then the laugh from Brian made him realise he was dishonouring the ghosts to much. With a glare at the now weak boy Nathan curled his lip and decide to rip into him.
“What was the point of that display, apart from nearly killing yourself and staining half the furniture in the room. Then to top off your act of stupidity, the only come back you can manage is that Marishka here is the worst persons you know. Please. You are an insignificant, feeble, weak excuses for a Slytherin. I suggest you go back to your unsuccessful business and wait for the day that you can no longer pay for the upkeep. I for one will be laughing when I see your sorry face as you board up the windows.”
Nathan was almost spitting at furry as his loud voice echoed around the room. He did not care if Brian was lying weak and unprotect, he should never act like that in front of Nathan.

Adair looked horrified as the blood dripped down onto his head, sliding off his shoulder. He could care less about his appearance at this point, but the red streams of liquid were clinging onto his notebook, leaving trails of blood over letters that were slowly becoming visible.
"You idiot!" He suddenly cried, standing up and feeling tendrils of hair curling at his ear where they had been soaked with the onslaught . "The Nurse might help with your lack of blood supply, but there isn't any way she'll be able to help with your lack of brain."
The Slytherin sent his steely gaze on the others, his notebook clenched in his hands. He was obviously accusing them for what happened.

Marishka threw her head back and laughed upon hearing Brian's weak insults towards her, but as she did so she felt something slightly warm and thick drip down onto her cheek and forehead. Eying the ceiling, Marishka hissed lowly, quickly casting a shield charm over her head as a thick red substance began to dribble down through the cracks, splattering the green rugs and furniture with ugly red spots. 'That - is - disgusting!' Marishka said in disbelief.
What sort of revenge was that? First of all the dimwit over there plans on hurting his own girlfriend - and now the muggle lover inflicts gruesome spells on himself in an attempt to get at me? Unbelievable! She had certainly been wrong before. Boys weren't dense - they were just plain empty!
As the muggle lover collapsed to the floor with an odd little smile on his face, Marishka realised yet another boy had now entered the common room, his head equally dirtied by blood. Angrily Marishka pulled her sleeve over her hand and began wiping at her face frantically. 'Well don't look at me like that!' she snapped defensively at him. 'How was I supposed to know he'd take it so badly?'
A small pool of blood had appeared round Brian's left arm, soaking into the rug. Exasperatedly Marishka grabbed his wrist and dragged him across the common room floor, taking no care in dropping him onto the stone grate of the fire. She stared down at him hatefully. 'He can clean this up when he comes round, and I'm certainly not going to take him to the nurse! He can bleed to death for all I care!' As an after thought, Marishka kicked him hard in the ribs...

As Mariska kicked him he spat out more blood and began to seize. ----INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT---- "Never mess with a Chase, you'll regret it till the day you die. Which knowing me that may not be very long." he said grinning. ----INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT----

Having sat comfortably in a darkened corner of the common room, with his wand dimly lighting the pages of the book he read Angrod had nevertheless listened intently to the entire conversation, mulling over and analysing it word for word. He had come to various conclusions though he didn't wish to prejudge any of his fellow Slytherins. Seated in a tall backed armchair with many books propped alongside he scanned the pages with a glint in his eye. Perfectly contented to simply listen in on the conversation without even raising his eyes he had recognised each and every one of them; they often caused rather a commotion in the common room. Murmering softly to himself the words upon the page only those within a metre would have heard the hushed words; "grind the peppermint carefully into the potion eh?" Even having ignored the rather ridiculous spouting of blood all over the common room, as he was perfectly contented in his own little corner, few would dare approach the silent yet strong lad, even those in years above gave him a wide berth simply because he rarely spoke to them. Looking over the top of his book he espied the Chase boy stumbling to his feet still spouting blood, silently shaking with mirth at the feeble reference to his relations. It was of course always the way with Slytherins, each one knew the others families perfectly well, there being relatively few pure bloods about, though their numbers had admittedly gathered in strength through careful efficient breedingas his Mother would say. Emmersing himself once more in his book he maintained his wariness, still listening intently and ready to aid his friends, though he somehow doubted they would need his help...

Brian then heard someone, but he didn't know where. He quickly looked toward the dark corner where he always used to read and sit. He quickly ran toward it and saw another Slytherin. "So what to we have here." he said looking down toward the guy. "Get Up!" he said to him angry.

It seemed Angrod's peace would be rather too shortlived. Peering over his book at the lad who stormed over to him angrily even having the sheer audacity to demand he stand. Why he thought he had the power or status to order others around was quite beyond him. Angrod looked up at Chase with a slightly raised eyebrow, other than that his expression remained fixed and steady, looking at Chase as though he were a mere disturbing fly. "I've done nothing," he stated simply not bothering to waste further words on anybody least alone Chase, he returned to his book, his eyes sweeping across the page absorbing every tiny detail and hoping the minor disturbance would soon be off. Continuing to muse on the incredibly strange behaviour of this Slytherin he wondered quite why he had suddenly leapt across the common room to begin verbally assaulting him. Though others in the room had clearly antagonised him, Angrod himself had never done anything of the sort, being far too enraptured with his studies which were far more important than idle arguments. Remaining resolutely in his seat he ignored the lad looming over him, perhaps he believed that would scare him.

"Fine, just keep it down." he said quickly turning around and walking toward the girl and the boy. When he reached them he spat blood and laughed again.

Marishka pointed her wand at her own torso, muttering 'Tergeo!' The blood immediately siphoned off her robes and skin, leaving her completely cleansed of Brian's blood. Looking around, the Slytherin common room seemed even more macabre than usual, the blood trickling down the walls and soaking into the carpets reminding her very much of a text book she had read a long time ago called Pesky Poltergeists and Sordid Spirits.
Brian was once again in her face, laughing manically and spluttering more blood. 'Oh for goodness sakes!' Marishka snapped, pointing her wand at him and silently mouthing a long incantation. The gaping wounds on Brian's arms began to lace back together, the skin entwining quite gruesomely. The blood dribbling from his mouth also ceased to flow. 'I can't believe I just did that for you! I hope it hurt while it lasted.' she growled.

Nathan watched in silent amazement as ‘Brian the muggle lover’ continued to act like a brain dead muggle boxer. He stumbled around the common room shouting at anything that moved. When Marishka finally cleaned him up Nathan gave a small groan and stood up to stand next to the Slytherin girl. He folded his arms and looked at Brian.
Wanting to say something to him Nathan could not think of anything, he had ran out of insults, if he wanted to shout anymore he would soon be sinking to Brian’s level. With a frown Nathan could only think of one thing he wanted to say.
“Get out!”
He growled the two words and stood waiting for the oxygen thief in front of him to move. Nathan was willing to go to any extent to get this waste of space out of the Common room and so in preparation he closed his hand around his wand handle. Ready to draw it out if it was needed.
