Shane crept quietly into the empty common room, dropping into one of the high backed chairs by the fire. Inside the grate, the flames were slowly dying and all that remained were glowing embers. Shane stretched his legs out in front of him, pulling the hood of his black sweatshirt over his head. He had decided that since they were sneaking out and all, he would dress the part. That mean all black. He had even decided to wear his black chuck taylors. He glanced at a clock on the wall and saw he was a bit early. In his dorm room, all the other occupants had been snoring and sound asleep. Most of them were heavy sleepers and Shane knew it would take a lot more than him sneaking away to wake any of them.
He let out a sigh, humming under his breath as he waited for Diana. He was excited about tonight. He and Diana hadn't done something like this since they were younger. It was like re-starting an old tradition. Plus, secretly, Shane was aware his feelings for Diana weren't purely 'just friends' feelings any longer. He had yet to say anything to her. This was rare for him. Yet Shane didn't want to let his feelings ruin their friendship. A life without Diana as his best friend was gloomy to just think about. Shane closed his eyes, becoming comfortable as he waited.

Diana snuck out of her courters as all the girls slept. She had managed to convince them that tomorrow they would all need to look 'super' cute, and so beauty sleep was important. Diana was wearing a black tank top that showed midriff and black pants. What more could she say, if there were going to be sneaking around she needed to be in black.
Hearing humming Diana snuck behind the chair and wrapped her arms behind Shane's neck allowing her hands to move down his chest. "Hello dear," she said whispering lightly in his ear. "Did you miss me," she said lightly. Then noticing that they were matching she smiled, "Nice colors."

Shane was still humming, staring distractedly at the fire. He didn't even notice when Diana entered the common room. Which explained why he jumped slightly when she suddenly wrapped her arms around him from behind. She slid her hands down his chest, causing a smirk to form on Shane's lips. He glanced over his shoulder to look at her. " Of course I missed you. I know you missed me." He said playfully. He laughed when she pointed out they were dressed the same. " Great minds think alike." He said shrugging his shoulders.
He stood from his chair, now standing next to Diana. " Sooo..Where are we off to tonight?" He asked curiously, raising a single eyebrow. He didn't care where. This was sure to be interesting either way.

Diana giggled quietly. "Well I guess you could say that," she said lightly in response to her missing him. He had been on her mind since they parted. It was rare for a guy to be on her mind as much as he had been lately, but she swore she wouldn't let him get to her. "Either that or you watched me as I got dressed," she smirked and put a thinking face on. Her eye brow arched as usual but a slight smile was rising from her lips.
"Well..." Diana looked at him. "Umm..." she had not really thought about that. "You name it," she said lightly unsure herself where she wanted to go. She didn't mind as long as they had fun. As she placed her hands into his sweatshirt's pocket and grew a bit closer to him a smirk grew on his face. "Let us just go... and see where our feet lead us," she said lightly.

Shane let out a laugh, before a smirk played its way across his lips. " Oh yeah, how did you know?" He asked playfully. " Cause you know I'm a pervert who likes watching people dress..." He said mockingly before giving her a grin. He started towards the door of the common room, listening to make sure it was still quiet. It was unlikely they would run into anyone in the dungeons. They were almost always deserted, especially at night. Most people found them a little creepy.
" Sounds good...It'll be spontaneous." He smiled, pushing open the door. He crept out into the dark hall, looking around. It was empty, just like he suspected. He felt a rush of adrenaline at doing something he knew was against the rules. He always had fun causing trouble, even if it was something as minmal as this. He stepped aside, making room for Diana.

Diana giggled and winked at him. Getting on her tip toes to whisper in his ear and put her hands on his chest, "You can never know," she smiled and then turned towards the door playfully.
When they walked out Diana felt the darkness. Her adrenaline was rushing and the darkness seemed to go one. She looked over at Shane and grabbed his hand. "come on," she smiled as she practically lead him.

Shane leaned against the stone wall, waiting as Diana quietly escaped from the common room. He felt her take his hand, tugging him in the direction she had started walking in. Shane smirked slightly before pushing himself away from the wall and walking after her. The corridors were nearly pitch black, the flame from the torches having dyed down sometime ago. The dark only made this more exciting though. Plus there was the fact he was with Diana that made everything even better. " Do you know where you're going? Or are you just making this all up as you go along?" He asked her with a grin.

Diana could only see dim light, if anything. The dark was making her brain even more crazed. When Shane spoke she giggled quietly. "Oh... I just wanted to get in the dark with you," she spoke playfully. "No... I don't know where i'm going it's kind of wherever my feet lead me," she told him truthfully.
When they reached a four way cross, Diana looked at him. "Which way?" she asked curiously. She didn't mind either way, and in the dark almost nothing was visible.

Shane let out a laugh, which he quickly stifled. They had to be quiet, yet he couldn't help but be loud. It was a part of who he was. He grinned at Diana through the darkness. " I knew it. Don't try to deny it now...You want me." He snickered, smirking slightly. He kept one hand on the stone wall next to them, feeling their way as the walked through the darkness. " That's the best way to do it. Spontaneous." He nodded, grinning once again.
The wall suddenly ended and Shane stopped. In front of them was a 4 way split. He peered through the darkness, squinting his eyes. " Ummm..." He said thoughtfully, trying to make a decision. He ended up doing eenie meeny miney mo. The path that he ended on was the one he began tugging Diana towards, his hand still holding on to hers. " Don't know where this goes, but we'll find it." He grinned.

Diana turned her head to him and smiled. Knowing that he was next to a wall, she pushed him lightly against it. Shane was now in between her and the wall. Diana looked up at him, "I think that's what we both want," she bit her lip holding back a laugh. "And now look... i've got the infamous Shane pinned against the wall, helpless from my grasp," she giggled as she toyed with him.
She followed the way Shane directed and it lead to, if any, a deeper darkness. They were doing everything spontaneous and it was great. She missed these days and she missed spending time with Shane. As they walked past portraits a couple of them grumbled or snored.

Shane felt himself being pushed lightly against the stone wall next to him. Diana moved in front of him, pinning him against it. A laugh escaped Shane's lips. " I think you're right." He grinned at her through the darkness. Shane's grin morphed into a mischevious smile as Diana giggled. " Oh yeah? Well I guess you've got me right where you want me then..." He spoke. " So now what?" He challenged, his smile still in place.
The only noise as they stalked down the corridor was the occaisonal grumble or snore in the portraits on the walls and the sound of their footsteps. It was exactly like old times and Shane missed the time he and Diana had spent together like this. He had no idea where they were going, but that just made everything funner. He turned down an unfamiliar corridor, filled with doors. He grinned slightly. " Hmm..Let's try one. Just for the sake of curiousity." He suggested. Shane eyed all the doors before picking one in the middle and opening it. Inside, all he could see was darkness. He pulled Diana in after him and shut the door. " Sooo what room do you suppose this is?" He asked, since all he could see was darkness.

"I guess you could say that.." Diana looked up at him with a devious smile on her face. When he asked now what, Diana giggled. She moved up a bit, "I think this is your invitation." She was referring to their chat in the morning. Instead of waiting for him, she pressed her lips against his playfully and wrapped her arms around his neck.
As they walked pasts portraits and darkness Diana caught eye of doors. When Shane decided that they should go through one Diana smiled and agreed. Walking through the door, the classroom was darker than the halls. Closing the door behind them, Diana giggled. "Well it could be anything," she smiled and looked at him. "I'm guessing a potions room, because we are in the dungeons," she looked at the figure that she knew was Shane and sat on a desk.

Shane smiled mischeviously at Diana as she moved closer to him. He felt her arms snake around his neck and before he could say or do anything else, he felt her lips against his. Shane pulled Diana closer to him in response, wrapping his arms around her waist. He pressed his lips harder against her. This was something that was going to have happen sooner or later. Now seemed like the perfect timing, though Diana had beat him to it.
Shane's eyes adjusted to the dark and he noticed the desks in rows. He grinned slightly. " Well now I feel like an idiot." He responded. He should have known, seeing as he had class in here. Things looked different in the dark though. He watched as Diana sat on a desk and hopped up onto it next to her. He found her hand in the darkness, interlocking his fingers with hers. " Soo...now what?" He said aloud.

Feeling him pull her closer, she began to kiss him. Turning her lightly to the side, a light smile ran across her face. Kissing on, she couldn't believe that this was happening. She had thought about it, but since Shane took to long she decided to take action. She got what she wanted for a reason, because she took it by the horns and didn't give up.
Diana listened to his words and giggled. "Don't feel like that, it's dark in here and my guess was just good because my eyes adjust quickly to darkness," she spoke. As his fingertips intertwined with hers a smiled crossed her face. She really liked Shane and she for the first time was not sure how to go about it. "I dunno dear," she looked at him. "We could..." she wasn't sure what they could do so she stopped herself.

Shane couldn't help but smile against Diana's lips as he kissed her. He waited so long to do this. In fact he was surprised he had waited so long. Shane wasn't the type to hold back. When he wanted something, he went after it. With Diana though, everything was different. That was one of many reasons he liked her so much. Shane reluctantly pulled away from her after a long moment. " I have no idea why we waited so long to do that." He smirked, his voice a whisper.
Shane laughed as Diana paused in mid-sentence. " Well, I have no idea either." He grinned. " I mean, I can think of things to do, but I don't know what I want to do...." He went on, sounding thoughtful. " Well, seeing as we're trying to do this like old times, we can either go cause some trouble or play a game, or something that I can't think of." He laughed. They used to always sneak out and pull pranks. When they weren't up for that, Shane rememebered sitting in rooms like this and playing games, the more popular one being similar to truth or dare. Except there was no dare, just truth. It was a good way to get to know every aspect about someone, even their most hidden secrets.
