[Gryf C. Room] In need of a laugh

Dean nodded slowly "Pawn to C2." he smiled as the pawn moved and took out the knight. "Very nice, no?" he raised his one eyebrow mischeviously and laughed.

[ashley]

Ashley walked in to the common room after a walk around the ground, her feet were killing her! she saw a guy and a girl playing chess, being a first year, she didn't want to get her head blown off by a couple for 7th years but decided to say hello anyway, she walked over to them "Hey,I'm Ashley, i'm new here"

[Dean Winchester]

Dean looked up at the sudden voice "Hey there" he smiled "I'm Dean." he added. He watched the board through the corner of his eye.

[Jac Shaw]

Jac could not believe he had taken her piece so soon into the game. Her hair flared an angry red and her jaw dropped. She gaped at the pawn as it slice it's way through her piece. Feeling very indignant, she was about to retort to his comment but then they were joined.

Jac was not in the mood for more people but thought it would be rude to ignore the girl. She looked like a first year and Jac knew what kind of courage it took to walk up to much older kids. She tried her best to smile in a friendly manner but it turned into more of a grimmace. "Hey there yourself!" she said slowly. "Name's Jac, good to meet you Ashley!"

Dean chuckled as her hair turned a bright red "Oh, angry?" he teased companiably. "It's okay... what do people call it? Oh- beginners luck" he said. "Erm... I do beleive it's your turn" he added with a chuckle

[Jac Shaw]

Jac was now embarrassed and smoother out her hair, before it curled out of annoyance. Closing her eyes, Jac breathed slowly, calming herself down. Relaxing, she sat up straight and said, "pawn to H3."

She watched the little piece move then realized Ashley was still there. Looking up, she smiled at the little girl and added, "sit down, please!" She indicated the seat across from them.

Lizzie walked into the common room after a very filling dinner and saw two 7th years she recognized and a very little first year sitting down by them. She smiled knowing that the first years were as new to the school as she was and went over to them.

"Hullo! Whatcha doing?" she asked, then quickly noticed that they were playing chess. "Right. So what's your name?" she asked the first year as she sat down beside her and smiled appreciatevely.

Jac looked up at the new comer as she was looking at the quiet first year. "She's quiet," Jac explained, "but she's Ashley." Jac smiled at Ashley and let out a girly giggle. "And you're Elizabeth, right?" she asked, looking at her too. Dean seemed to have been thrown off and was concentrating hard.
