She laughed when he stuck his tongue out at her. Being childish was one thing she loved being, and when other people did too, she loved it even more. She took the magazine and tranfigured it into a green rubber ball, tossing it in the air, playing catch.

"I never thought I would freeze either. I was known to be quick witted and have a quicker tongue, but then he showed up and I seriously couldn't think of anything." she threw the ball higher, shaking her head as she caught it. "And I can't talk to him like you. I openly talk with you about anything and everything like a brother and sister, who actually get along." she added.

"Yeah, I've noticed that, too. Gryffies and Slytherins aren't suppose to mix, yet here we are, falling for eachother. It's very weird." she threw the ball at the nearest wall and threw it up in the air again when it came back.

She smirked. "I think I have too many problems for even me to solve. I am messed up." she caught the ball again, and held it for a second before throwing it back up. "I like it how you show me that. I like how we're friends and we can joke about anything, especially the things we always kid about." she said, meaning the loving and passionate things they've joked about when all else fails. "You're like the brother I wished I had."

She caught the ball and threw it towards the librarian's desk, having it smash a few glass items. She laughed. "Who did it? Gryffies or Ravies?"

When she turned the magazine into a ball he laughed. He noticed a white and black small figure. It jumped on top of him and he gave a startled look. However, when he noticed what it was he laughed. "Gurdy," he laughed petting his cat. Gurdy always tended to show up when he was in thought.

"Yes," he said lightly. He couldn't truly understand how it felt to be like that. He of all people was never timid or never froze when he met reasonably attractive girls. "So where did you meet this chap anyways?" he asked curiously.

He nodded, they weren't supposed to mesh like that. "I hope I'm not next," he said lightly. "But between us Gryffindor girls look manly and so I haven't found myself liking one because of it," he smirked but it was true. He hadn't met a Gryffindor girl hot enough to date.

Tim laughed lightly, "Oh trust me I'll be the first to tell you things." He smirked as she said they were like siblings and nodded. "Yes and that is why I will not allow that sleaze to marry you," he said in a brotherly tone. He always treated Joseph like crap but he never said why. "But I'm guessing you will have to marry or find someone of pure blood," he said lightly. "Is this boy even of pure blood?" he asked.

"The puffers," he said lightly. "You know how stupid they can be and all too sweet," he laughed.

When Gurdy appeared, Maeve said, "Where does she come from?" she laughed. "It always seems as if she's everywhere like the carekeeper's cat. Only Gurdy doesn't get us in trouble."

"Where did I meet him, you ask? I met him in Hogsmeade just this weekend. I moved away from the idiotic friends my parents showed me to a while ago when they were grunting with eachother, saw the imbecile, ran like usual whenever I see him, ran into a store, knocked into the Gryffindor, landed half-way on the Gryffindor, got up, asked for his help, he showed me an escape route, we hid and talked for a while, and then I sort of called him Prince Charming." she summed up that part of her day at Hogsmeade.

"Good. I always want to be the first." she smiled. "And thanks, I know you'll keep him at bay away from me." her smile then turned into a frown. "No, he's a halfblood, not pure. My parents would kill him if they found out." she shook her head again.

"The puffers it is." she changed the colored ball from a dark green to a bright yellow from afar.

Tim laughed, "I'm not sure, she always comes to me when I'm thinking." He looked back at her and began to per Gurdy, "Yes.. she's quite into mischief as well."

As Tim listened to her story a sly smile rose on his face. "Oh and that's how the boy got you to fancy him," he laughed. "Who is he?" he asked again. "Dear, maybe.. well just maybe I can see if I can talk to him for you," he said lightly.

"Oh..." he said lightly. His parent's were rather well acquainted with those of Maeve's and her cousins. Darker wizards tended to be close and it made sense. Looking at her lightly he sighed, "Yes well I know they would kill him... but that is why you will have to keep it on the low," he said lightly. "A half-blood," he sighed, "Better than a mudblood."

As the ball changed colors he laughed. "Nice," he said lightly.

"She is the secret to our success most of the time. Acting like she's helping the carekeeper to track down students when really she's helping us escape and get other kids in trouble." Maeve laughed a bit.

"Yes, that is how Aiden got me to fancy him." she smiled back at him. "His name's Aiden Zyler. Would you really talk to him for me?" she asked.

"I know I have to keep it on the low. Problem is when I was telling Bella, she sort of went a little mad and yelled out Gryffindor and now the whole Quidditch team knowns because they either heard her or were eavesdropping on us. I said his name only twice I think. So, I hope they don't go tell my parents." she explained. "Maybe they'll forget." she added hopefully.

Tim laughed, "Well animals like there masters." Gurdy was much like him in an odd way.

"Zyler," he said lightly. "I have heard of him before," he said almost whispering. "If I see him around I'll have a chat.." he said charmingly.

"Bella..." he hissed. "She is quite problematic isn't she," he said lightly. "Well only time can tell," he said softly. "But beware for this may turn our worse than you first expected."

"That's right." Maeve said, remembering her snake back at her house. She didn't want to bring him here, not wanting to deal with how many people he might end up killing. Too many excuses to make up on her part.

"Thanks, Tim." she smiled. "That's very...un-Slytherin of you to do."

She nodded. "Oui, she can be sometimes. And what do you mean it's going to be worse than I first expected it to be? I already imagined my parents finding out and killing Aiden after days of torturing him riguously, making me watch and maybe even inflict pain on him. I've also imagined them putting him under the Imperius Curse to make him do things he doesn't want to do and marry someone else. What ould be worse than that?"

Tim listened to her speak of how un-Slytherin it was for him to do that. Tim smirked as she spoke. "I find it quite entertaining how everyone believes that Slytherin's only care for themselves," he hissed. "Yes we find ourselves first priority, but really how come our parent's are always the greatest of friends or how come our house is known for the best of friends," he said in a knowingly way. He didn't mind her saying whatever her opinion was, but he had a rather good point.

When she stated that, he smirked lightly. "Does this boy understand this?" he asked curiously. "I mean that's a hard place to put someone Maeve," he said truthfully. "But I think if things come to worse there will be more people than you think involved in your situation," he said simply. "I mean, do you think I'm going to allow that to happen, one word from me and my family will have my back," he said simply. "But I refuse to do it unless you are utterly in love with this man and he is for you," he said strictly.

"Right again. Good Merlin, stop showing off your big brain or they'll think you're a Ravenclaw in disguise." she joked. "We are best friends, we stick up for each other, but we have our own way, usually violent and rude ways to stick up for each other."

She suddenly felt really small when he explained all that and asked her the question she'd been dreading. He really sounded like an older brother right than. "I don't know. I don't remember telling him that my family doesn't like anyone but purebloods and Slytherins."

She felt tears come back up. The tears that had been haunting her for days. The ones she swore to never let down. "I don't know if I love him. I want to say no because I don't want my family finding out, but then I feel I'd be lying to myself. I don't know if he truly loves me or not." she hugged her knees up to her chest, resting her chin on them. "I want him to, but it could've been a joke. A dare per ce, like what Cissy did with Will. But I want to believe he was telling the truth, like he really didn't care about houses and he really did want to run away with me."

Tim laughed lightly, "Unfortunately I don't get to show off my brain too often so it's nice when I can." He smiled as they spoke, "Who said that I wasn't going to get things done in a violent way... Jeeze Maeve, how long have you known me for."

"Well you should get on that..." he said lightly. "That is a crucial detail my dear," he spoke in a brotherly tone. "Dear don't doubt yourself, you could very well love him..." he said lightly. "Just make sure that he feels that same way because you know I'll be the first to kick someones ash if they hurt you." Tim sighed as she talked about Cissa. "Well she is someone from out house... but I have a feeling something will go down between them," he smirked. "You just need to talk to him," he sighed. He couldn't believe he was being so... nice. He was never liked this and so Maeve was experiencing a rare occasion.

"Well, don't show it off to me. I know all too well you're smarter than me." she said, jesting.

"What if I talk to him and he tells me it was a joke? I was really played, wasn't I?" she laughed, half-heartedly. "Anyway, what was the true reason you were here? You know why I'm here, but I still don't know why you are?"

Tim smirked as she spoke about his smartness. "Yes well it is nice to know I'm smarter than you," he said smirking but jesting back.

"Don't worry," he said looking at her. "Trust me.. someone like you should not be bothering with that... as someone like me should really stop being so Sweet" he smirked. When she asked him what he was doing he sighed, "Oh a little of this and that... trying to find some entertainment."

She smiled. "Arsehole." she replied, laughing.

"But I like the sweet side of you almost as much as I like the deathly side of you." she said, happily and truthfully. "Coming to a library for entertainment? Were you hoping for someone to come, or taking your chance that these books would talk to you?" she smirked.

Tim laughed when she called him a name and hissed playfully. When she stated that she liked the nice side of him as well as the deadly side of him he coughed. "Well you won't be seeing this often so take it all in," he said simply.

"Well a little bit of both," he said lightly. "More or less a nice snog with a cute girl in the book isles," he smiled confidently. "However, since there is no one here that I would like to snog with it's hopeless," he winked at her playfully.

Maeve frowned playfully. "Aw. You should be that way more often. And how about this," she stood up and walked over to him. She sat down in his lap, putting her legs back over the armrest, ands her head on his shoulder. "I will take advantage of this nice you."

She laughed when he said he wanted a cute girl to snog. "Oh well, looks like you're just going to have to settle with me and talking. Maybe a sisterly kiss every now and then, but not much." she poked him slightly in his chest. "Things are complicated. Make them better." she said childishly as if she was truly complaining to an older brother.
