[Great Hall] Continuous Surprises

[Maeve Malfoy]

Maeve smirked. None of the Slytherins who had played the game last night had slept. They played until just a few minutes ago, although the game might last the rest of the year. She was following beside Cissa and Bella, along with a few other Slytherins.

When they entered the Great Hall, she looked at Cissa, awaiting her to move to where she was suppose to be. Maeve made a few muffins float over to them with her wand, and handed one to Bella, Nessa, and the others, as she kept one for herself.

She handed one to Cissa."Chocolate muffins make the world better. And make you hyper for what you must do." she said, even though she didn't have a chocolate muffin herself.

Nessa followed the crew into The Great Hall. She thanked Maeve for the muffin and took a bite out of it hungrily. She hadn't eaten at all the day before and this was her first meal in at least twenty four hours, possibly longer.

Nessa did not know which boy the girl had chosen for Narcissa so she looked around trying to figure it out.

After a search of the Gryffindors she could not decide for the life of her who the boy was, and yes he waqs definitely lucky because this was definitely going to make Hogwarts history.

She smirked at the thought.

Diana walked in with a smirk on her face. She couldn't wait to see what was going to go down. She had yet to get a Truth or a Dare and frankly it shocked her. Looking at the girls as she sat next to them she looked more devious then usual. "Hello Darlings," she said in a dark French accent. Taking a muffin she began to eat it politely. "So is this the end of our little game or is there more," Diana asked curiously.

bella sat with her cousin and friends, and took a muffin, stared at it, and then put it back. she didnt really like food.

"so wheres the guy?" she asked maeve.

"He's not in here yet." Maeve said, answering her cousin. "Remember, breakfast just started. We are a bit earlier than normal. So, we must wait for him." she took a bite out of her muffin.

She turned to Diana. "Of course not. I've got an idea. You all started this game, so, how about we don't end it until each and everyone who joins, graduates. That means, even after we've graduated, we owl the person with the dare or truth, have lunches and dinners together when we can, and so forth." she suggested, looking back over to the Gryffindor table, scanning for the guy. "What'd you say about that, guys?"

"that should make school interesting," said bella. "i want to do one involving that whistledown woman. GOD SHES ANNOYING."

Diana giggled and agreed. "Oh my God great idea Maeve!" she said utterly surprised that she hadn't come up with the brilliant idea. "So who's next dare?" she asked curiously. Diana kinda hoped if she was it that it had nothing to do with the Gryffindor table. After the article that Lady Whisledown wrote about her and Scott, oh how embarrassing it would be to do something that involved him. She did not want anyone to find her less powerful than she was.

"its your turn di, you havent gone. truth or dare?" bella decided.

Diana's mouth opened and then closed. It was almost as if Bella knew what she was thinking. Diana decided that she would take a chance and said, "Dare." She had to show everyone that she was not weak by saying truth. Anyways, she was generally a daring person and so Dare's usually didn't phase her.

"excellent." bella grinned. "in light of the recent bit of gossip reported about you and a gryffindor-" the table scoffed at her. "-you must spread a rumor about yourself that you wouldnt go with a gryffindor if your life depended on it. make sure mr. B hears about it."

[Maeve Malfoy]

"Speaking of Gryffindors, I'm fed up with waiting for this Gray guy! Next Gryffindor boy that walks through those doors is the guy Cissa has to do her dare on, unless I say otherwise!" Maeve said, even though they weren't even there for more than five minutes.

She turned back to the girls. "And who was the Gryffie?"

Diana's mouth dropped as she heard the words from Bella's mouth. However, she quickly closed it to show that there was no emotion there. Diana looked at her bored, "Is that all you have?" Diana giggled, people were always making rumors about her, just look at Lady Whisleworth. Diana thanked God that it wasn't something worse. She knew that Bella was very capable of making her do something drastic, like kiss the stupid boy. Diana slightly ignored the comment of Maeve. She was not going to reply to that and her eyes hit Bella's quicker and with a deadly tone. "That's old don't worry about it," Diana hissed lightly and untruthfully.

[Maeve Malfoy]

Maeve faked-dramatically that she was hurt. "Why ignore me? Why not answer my question? I am nothing but a simple Slytherin Malfoy wishing for an answer!" She suddenly pounded her hands on the table, after shoving the rest of the muffin in her mouth. "Where are the Gryffies when you need them?! They're always there when you don't, but when you need them? No, they're not there!" she pouted.

"Oh, speaking of Gryffies again!" she moved close to Diana. "Who's the Gryffie? Tell me." But Maeve figured she'd be ignored again, so she grabbed a napkin and burned letters into it with her wand. They spelled out:

I can see right through that lie. You still like this Gryffindor boy.
...
I could've sworn I was the only one who liked a Gryffindor.

And she passed it to Diana.

Diana looked at her as she passed her the note. Her mouth dropped lightly as she spoke. Really she didn't know who she liked there were a couple of guys in mind but nothing serious just yet. Diana burned the note completely. "You like a Gryffindor?" she said whispering so only they could hear.

Bella went temporarily deaf, and had not the slightest idea what anyone was saying.
