'That is of course before it becomes soggy,' Grace pointed out, 'then it is just baby food!' She waved a hand at Girty and Vittorio, 'you can keep your cornflakes and milk, I' she said, looking at the bacon strips and scrambled eggs, 'I will keep to bacon and eggs, thank you very much!' She smiled playfully at everyone, dishing herself some of each with a tomatoe as well. 'Dig in all,' she said, and began eating.

Ariane groaned inwardly. "The worst part about coming back to school" she muttered a bit louder than she ment to. She sat back down with a sad sigh and poked at her food. She held her head in her hands and sucked in a deep breathe, trying to hold back her tears.

Grace waved cheerfully as the gryffindor left, and mumbled a goodbye through a mouth-full. Then she watched Ariane join then absently, noticing an odd expresion on her face, it was a sad one and it didn't sit well with Grace. She swallowed her food and frowned at the young girl. Setting her knife and fork down, she leaned forward. 'What's up?' she asked, her concern evident.

Grace understood not wanting to deal with important issues that broke ones heart; she understood it so much that her fork slowed as it moved to her mouth. She frowned, then, putting down her cutlery and looking at Ariane, said, "that's not a very healthy outlook on life, you know!"
She tried to see in Ariane's eyes what could be vexing her so. "I always found," she said softly, "that talking helps the most." Then remembering her good mood and good friends added, patting Girty on the shoulder, "and friends, of course! They help even more." She smiled at Girty, remembering the pain she had endured and gotten through with Girty and Bog's help.
