Hiya, it's not really a game and not really general chat and I don't know if it's allowed. It's called:
Google Earth the place where your upper neighbour lives.
Example Person 1: Town by the river Person 2: Who love it, I live in Town in some strange country Person 3: Weird place, I live in Oisdjiehjkinov And comment it. So,
let's start with me :
Amstelveen (Robyn had already searched it on google earth)
I live in the Southern part..

Amstelveen, The Netherlands. Too cool man. I loved the look of it. Found this on Google Earth, I mean, what's not to love? De Poel, Stunning! Not sure it that's near to where you are, Lena, but I still thought it was gorgeous. Well, I live in Pretoria, South Africa.

Is this your lovely Pretoria? It so cool that you live in South Africa. to me, a small town USA girl, its like WOAH! I live in the most boring, stupid-est part of Connecticut ever! Terryville, CT, USA.

Hey, look at that. Pretoria Central. Busy place which actually isn't in the centre as the city keeps expanding in the most peculiar directions. I don't like there per say. I live more towards the out skirts, the less dodgy direction which is east of the CBD. But it's spread over a wide area so it looks big!!! haha! Shot alot for finding it Whooow, Terryville is soo green! Dude, that rocks. I would love to live in a small dorpie (meaning town for those who don't know) like Terryville. Call me old fashioned but I like the community feel that I get when visiting the little dorpies around SA. But, like Pretoria, Terryville is very spread out. Makes going anywhere an adventure. (oh, you people shouldn't allow me to say anything coz you always get essays on nothing at all ;D)

So Terryville, Connecticut, Pretoria, South Africa, and Amstelveen, The Netherlands WOW! All those place sound much more fun then a country town. I live in Australia close to Newcastle which is on the east coast I'll put up a picture from Google earth for ya (sorry if it defeats the games aim)

Ooooo, Australia? Cool. My grand uncle and his wife immigrated there waaaaaaaaay before I was born and they're always telling me wonderful things about the scenery coz I'm totally fascinated by that stuff. haha! And close to the ocean too, even better. In any direction I go the shortest trip the the sea by road takes at least 10 hours so it's always a royal treat going to the sea side.
and Lena, I am loving this thread by the way. Totally groovy idea!

Well then I shall be the first British peep to post in here hahaha! I am from STAFFORD in Staffordshire!!!!! Which is just north of Birmingham in the west midlands of England which is part of the United Kingdom which is part of Europe which surprisingly enough is part of the WORLD!!!!!
*dies of pure amazement*
Stafford’s claim to fame is that we have a castle where Queen Elizabeth the 1st once visited, a house where Prince Rupert was almost killed during the English Civil War (the sniper was rubbish as he missed the Prince and hit the weather vane on the top of one of the many churches) and if you like random facts the voice of Bob the Builder was born in Stafford just down the street from my Mum…and erm…Ozzy Osborne lived in one of the villages outside the town (My Dad was his paper boy hehe) Oh my how could I forget that Mr JRR Tolkien actully wrote parts of Lord of the Rings while staying locally! Oh and the Queen came last year for her 80th Birthday and had tea and cake with all the other old people in the town who were 80!!!
But yet even with all this AMAZING information which I am sure you are all loveing *rolls eyes* no one still knows where it is hahahaha...trust me many Facebook groups have been set up hahaha!

ten hours to the sea!! What about lakes or other pooling places of water? I'm a stones throw from Lake Macquarie as in I can see it over the road and the ocean is half an hour away.
ENGLAND yay i visited there a while ago and went all over. Very wet, but still fun

Oh yeah, course there are, got Hartebeestport dam real close but nothing compares to being able to put your toes in that salty water and then suddenly being knocked over by the hundred or so people on the beach (that's always exciting). O gosh, Liz, there are pictures of the castle on Google Earth. Check this one out... How totally uber cool is that?? haha

Guess I'll post for me and my hometown peeps. though I have to say, Our place is much less glamourous than the Netherlands and England.. but if your lucky, you'll see our healthy coating of snow?
Me and Ally (doesn't know if the third person wants to be mentioned ) are all from Mokena, Illinois, USA. Small town, but apparently it's awesome enough for Nightwish to come.

Aww! Thanks Liz. I do enjoy the pic thing. Hmm, googling ' Mokena, Illinois, USA' does give you very buff looking dudes. The one I chose is of a kick boxer fron Illinois. and lots of trains ... don't know what that was about but here's a nice one for you: So that's my useless five cents and Talihina it soo cute. You just want to put it in your bag and keep it with you always! haha! It's adorable Kris.

if I saw body builders just walking around in speedos (because it's not a bodybuilder if they don't) I'd move.. far, far away. and I don't mean to steal your thunder but xD
This is one of the many mokena signs. this one's not in my town, but it's our mall and here's a cultasac [/center]

Heck, speedos have that effect on anyone's cool. I think that's why I never went to swimming events when I still had ickle boys in my school. (I went to an all-girl High School)
Edit by Robz: I don't mind with the pics, they're real cool.
