She sighed "The centaurs fin.. they talked about the dark.. being whatever this thing is inside me. they said only the light could save people.. youve been my rock and my light. I think you are the light." she said. She managed to gain her strength to break the ball of light.

She pulled herself up. "The spell? you want to know that? Its complicated. And powerful.. i think it will need all three of you.. But fin will have to be the one performing it... You two could help.. with lending him some of your energy. We need the pendant. He has to be holding it. I cant remember what the spell is called but it has a strange.. aura to it if you get me? Open the pendant and face.. the dark mark towards me.. Just chant something.. thats what i saw.. something about spirit leave the body.. there was more but i cant remember it.. improvise.. When you feel it working put the dark mark here" She opened the top button of her shirt and they saw quite plainly what the chain had done... it had burnt the mark into her skin "Thats where it needs to go.. When thats done destroy it"

[Prof. Algernon Moncrieff]

Professor Moncrieff watched the students, realization dawning in his mind.

This was... this was history. After all.. when Voldemort was defeated so many years ago, it had been children who defeated him. And now, again... He smiled pridefully at the students, tears welling up in his eyes. "This is in your hands now. You can do it, all of you, if you work together."

[Brian Chase]

"Guys you heard her, lets get that pendent."

[Kim Rivers]

"I could never make what ive done right" she turned to the professor "But i can explain everything to you once this is over... i need to give you that much." she smiled weakly "but.. i dont think ive ever been so sorry.. especially to you" she said

[Prof. Algernon Moncrieff]

((ooc; Er, let's remember to destroy Chase's pendant too though, shall we? We don't want icky loose ends.))

Algernon shrugged, smiling in what he hoped was Kim's direction. "I'm alright. Just go do what you have to do, no worries. Not that I wouldn't be very interested in the whole story, when this is all over." Algernon would also be interested in taking Kim on as a special student, he thought, if she survived this. She obviously had some talant.

"Don't rush off so fast, we need a fall back plan." she turned to Professor Moncrieff, "Professor, I have a favor to ask you... and you aren't going to like it, but... would you vouge for our whereabouts if anyone asks?" she asked hopefully as she started fingering the cork of her Felix Felicis.

[Kim Rivers]

"I hope.. one day.. you could.. forgive me for all this" she said "I saw a lot more when i was under control" she told him "I have a feeling.. The dark mark.. It also had the name riddle on it.." she said holding back the tears "It was voldemorts pendant.. wasnt it?.. i knew it was.. as soon as i saw it.. that should have given me.. incentive enought to get rid of it.. But for some reason.. i wanted it"

"Kim, don't blame yourself, I could;ve kept you from getting it if I had wanted to. But... a lot of things went wrong. Now we have to make them right, you guys with me?" she asked, eyeing Chase and Fin.

[Kim Rivers]

She grabbed helia, fin and brian.. somehow. She hugged all three of them close enough "Good luck" she said "and thank you.. all of you"

[Prof. Algernon Moncrieff]

"If you all promise, -promise- to contact a teacher as soon as possible if you really get into a situation that you cannot handle.. of course, I'll vouch for you. What would you like me to say?"

He realized he was jeopardizing his postion, his future, but at the moment it didn't seem like it mattered. This was fate. Algernon could feel it.

[Kim Rivers]

"Oh and helia?" she said looking at her "If i dont pull through this.. i know thats on some peoples minds.. But tell jerred.. Well tell him.. well.. you know" she said smiling. She saw fins and brians confused looks. she laughed at this.

LEigh opened his eyes and immediately sat up. He looked around the room, his head full of cramps. "Ugh... someone care to explain how we all got here?" He said, his voice little more than a croak.

"Go now, children, Addis is awake!" Algernon whispered to the students hurriedly, before turning to Addis. "Ah, awake,are we?" He asked loudly, as a distraction.
