Algernon ignored the yelling of the others; they weren't important anymore. He was exausted, and his right hand burned even now, the image of the dark mark seared into his flesh. He could feel the weight on Kieron's body on the end of him bed, a comfort. He reached down to take Kieron's hand in his left, uninjured one, could feel the fatigue eminating from the boy. "Go to sleep, Kier." he whispered softly, so as not to disturb the others. " Right here, in the bed next to me. We'll wake up together, okay?" Kieron didn't move for a moment, then with a final hug to Algernon, he lay down in the bed beside him. He was asleep before his head hit the pillow. Algernon smiled, hearing his soft snores, and turned his head, focusing his already heightened sense of hearing on the others.

Kim smiled at fin. Then looked at the professor. She didnt speak, she just waited for him to say something. Events that went on were flashing through her mind, she didnt remember a lot of it clearly when she was first concious. Now she remembered it fully and wished she didnt.

Suddenly a figure flew in as if from nowhere. She was not young, but She wasn't that old either as was evident from the slightly brown colored hairs mixed with the silver on her head. As she came upon the wounded professer Moncrieff she shouted "Stand back, I smell an evil hex around him! I cannot begin the countercurse now but it will be days before he is fully healed."
The woman shouted "Omnia Cessare!" and a shot of orange feathers appeared and circled around the severely burned professor, lifting him up, and then keeping him suspended as the woman guided him into a more comfortable bed, telling the others,
"I am Cashew Dumbledorable and I am here applying for the position of Nurse."

Professor Ethelion stared at Kim. It's not her fault that she found the cursed item. He sighed. Well at least no relapse is in sight for now...
"Ms. Rivers, do you have your wand? Are you able to perform magic at all in any way in your current state? And ... Are you alright?" Professor Ethelion asked without letting his emotions show on his face.

He settled into his new bed, then Algernon sat up, taking the wand in his left hand. He ran his fingers over it lovingly, checking for scratches or blemishes. Finding it completly whole, he turned his unseeing eyes to Fin, smiling. "Thank you, Mr. McFinnigan. Fin. 50 points to Ravenclaw." he paused for a moment, considering. "And... a free pass on all homework for the rest of the term, how about that?" He tucked his wand carefully beneath his pillow.

"Im fine. No i dont have my wand.. It was snapped as i held it to profesor moncrieffs throat. Whatever it is inside me seems to have relaxed for now i could have performed magic without a wand when i was um.. but no i cant.. not in my current state. My insides feel torched. I cant move... well i can move my arms but thats about it. Is there any way to restrain me.. ropes or something? Just in case of it coming back? I really dont want to hurt anyone else.. Ive already done enough damage.. And keep your wand out please.. feel safer with a professor who has his wand"

Professor Freundschaft groaned inwardly at the result of his second near impossible act of apparition as he entered the infirmary. Having been left on the floor of the Great Hall to die, Rainer reached out for the Infirmary...only to find himself three yards from where he started. It would turn out to be a long walk.
"You know, I go and save everyone but somehow- somehow- I'm left on the floor completely unattended and at the mercy of slytherin first years on their way down for a morning porridge. Mein Gott, this school is simply barbaric!" Rainer, having finally gotten a chance to say his peace, took in the surroundings and fixed his eyes uopn Kim. "Clearly I did not finish the job. Pity, I must be getting old." he said coldly, and taking in her state, he forced his voice to lose its bitter edge. "How are you feeling my dear...hopefully not full rib-breaking incarnate evil?"

"Poor girl. Here drink this, it is healing waters that I have carried with me from Asia Minor," Professor Ethelion said, handing her a cup he had accioed. "There is a way to restrain you. I know a spell to encase you in a ball of white light. You can interact with your environment but you will not be able to cast spells out of the ball, unless of course you have the power needed to break my spell. If not, the spell will wear off after an hour. I can renew it later. Do you want to give it a try?"
