Cain Comes to Hogwarts!

[Kim Rivers]

Kim saw a centaur run past her out the paddock. "Wow.. i didnt know we had one of those.. aww" she watched him and shouted "Be careful out there"

[Kieron E'Drien]

Kieron frowned in concern as he watched Cain run off from the paddock. Some part of him wanted to call after the centaur; but he knew that he was probably going after the gameskeeper or got startled and it was none of his business anways. Poor lonely guy. He would talk to him later he supposed. Shrugging and nodding lightly to Kim as he walked past the paddock and towards Hogwarts, wanting to visit Algernon as soon as he could. Something..dangerous in the forest? Hmm. I'll have to ask about that later. Was his last thought.

Kim didnt know Keiron was there. She smiled politly. "Keiron? Im sorry" she said realising he was the only one she hadnt apologized to. She turned in the opposite direction and headed off. Walking at a very fast pace

[Kieron E'Drien]

Kieron suddenly heard a voice, and turned to see Kim running off. Knowing that he needed to talk with her, he turned around and jogged after her. Nodding with her apology, he offered a smile as he caught up to meet with her. "Actually, Kim..could I talk to you for a minute?" He asked, looking a slight bit sheepish as he spoke but knowing it was for the best that he talked with her. He had some very important things to discuss with her, and this was probably the best time to do it.

she stopped but didnt look at him. She knew he'd want to speak to her eventually. "Yeah sure" she answered. What was the point in putting it off?

[Kieron E'Drien]

Kieron sighed lightly, rubbing his head as he noticed that Kim wasn't looking at him. "Well, i'll just tell you right now; i'm not good at talking with people that much, so this is kind of well..difficult for me." He warned, starting again to speak, a little more quietly this time, looking at the other student even though she wasn't looking at him. "The thing with Professor Moncrieff, you know..when you were posessed and such. I was quite angry with you there, when I didn't know that you were posessed so much. I knew that if you laid one more scratch on him, I would harm you like nothing else. Just because i've known him for a long time and he's a good friend of mine. But, now that I know what happened, i'll forgive you and accept your apology."

The wizard chuckled lightly, waving a friendly hand as he continued to talk.

"You wouldn't do that normally, I can tell, even though I don't really know you all that well. And it's stupid of me to be angry if it wasn't your fault. So, yes. That was what I pretty much wanted to say. I'm glad to see that you've pretty much recovered as well." He looked back to Hogwarts in the distance, knowing that he had to visit Algernon soon.

"I knew what i was doing Keiron. I just couldnt stop it. I couldnt control my own movements or my own mouth. I saw the look in your eyes when Professor Moncrieff was on the floor... I knew you'd do much more than just harm me if i hurt him anymore than i already did. You have a right to be angry.. Im angry for keeping the pendant to myself and not telling anybody about it. If i hadnt been so stupid and stubborn he wouldnt be there right now. I know you and him are pretty close, its not hard to see that. Im not proud of what ive done and i could neve change it as much as i wanted to." She looked at him now "You had and still have a right to be angry, everyone has. What i did.. possessed or not was unforgivable.. I knew what the pendant was.. I didnt know it had an evil spirit in it though, but even when it grew hot i still did nothing and thats one thing i could never explain. I dont know why i didnt just bring it strait up to one of the professors. This.. doesnt sound at all good. Im just real glad that wall collapsed on me when it did. And now.. wandless at least i know i cant do any more damage. I just hope Professor Moncrieff will be okay soon. I meant it when i apologized though." She turned to walk away "And if any questions or problems come up about this.. Ill answer them to you.. I deserve to give the people i hurt explanations if they want to hear it" she smiled. She saw he was looking at the castle. "When you go and visit him.. will you tell him i said hi and i hope he gets better soon?"

[Kieron E'Drien]

Kieron chuckled and nodded at her words. "Of course I will." The wizard replied and nodded, watching as she was starting to turn to walk away. "And Kim. Perhaps i'll still be a little angry about what you did to Algernon, in the back on my head somewhere. He's hurt and such, and I hate to see him in the condition he is in right now. But, like I said, your apology is still valid. I'll accept it. Plus, everyone makes mistakes in their lives. Even I have. It makes me glad to see that you have learned from yours though and understand what you have done. Most people are too damn stubborn to actually do so, but you have." He paused for a moment, but then turned towards the castle once more. "I hope you have a good day, Kim." Turning his head and offering a light smile on the corners of his lips, he began to walk towards the castle, knowing that Algernon was there waiting for him to visit. He couldn't wait to see him. Maybe he would bring him some flowers.

She watched him go. "Thanks"she whispered. She thought for a minute, should she wait and see if that centaur came back? Im sure the professor will see he's okay

[Apronia Silvanus]

Apronia is troubled, and takes a walk through the darkening air, trying to decide what move to make. Pawn, knight, bishop...there is much more at stake than a game. She walks to the paddock, frowning at its emptiness. She summons a House Elf with an impatient flick, but it tells her that Cain has not been here since early afternoon.

Her face goes stony, the Elf disappears with a crack, and the Forest is silent.

Cain...where are you?

She wonders how worried she should be. After all, Cain has said more than once he never wishes to enter the forest again. But what if he thought she were still in there.

She almost cursed herself for abandoning him so often, but her Buddhist training knew it was a waste of time and she runs out of the stable, holding her wand and whispering the Point Me Charm. Her wand directs her straight for the Forest.
