Felix in the Forest

Kim didnt join them. She knew theyd know strait away so instead she crept away and left helia alone. She didnt want anyone finding out what was going on.

She wondered who the light would be ~Probably Professor Addis...~ she thought with a shrug. "So... how do you tell all that? I mean, I see those stars there clustered by Saturn which is an obviousness to the darkness... is that one little star there... that dim one right above it... is that the one that fortells the light to save us?" she asked becoming very curious, and not noticing her friends disappearance. The centaur stared at her, "That's... very perceptive." It wasn't exactly a compliment... but it made Halo feel smart.

Kim rushed ahead, not wanting to be found by a centaur. She took refuge up a tree. In a spot where she couldnt be seen. She tried searching her head for an answer to what was going on but she couldnt find one.

Soon the centaurs started to disperse and Helia was left there alone. "Kim, where are you this is so cool- Kim?" she looked around and saw no trace of her friend. "Kim!" she said a bit louder. She suddenly felt the Felix Felicis tug her in the complete opposite direction of where her friend was hiding, but not knowing that Helia followed.

Kim was getting scared. She jumped out the tree behind helia. "Helia! I need help!" She screamed at her friend "something inside me" But after shed said this she found herself in a completley different part of the forest. Helia wasnt around. "Oookaay.. Now thats freaky"

"Kim?" she continued to call as she walked through the forest. Where she was headed, she didn't know, but she knew that she was going... where she was supposed to be. After walking for nearly fifteen minutes she sat down on a large rock. "This Felix is more confusion than it's worth," she mumbled. "Felix?" said a voice behind her. She turned around, it was the centaur from earlier. "Oh, hello there." she said with a half-hearted smile. "I think it's okay for me to tell you this, you see, for making a shrinking potion in class I was offered a small vial of Felix Felicis. My friend and I took some so that we could explore the forest without interuption, but now she's disappeared, and I'm lost." she said, only just now realising that she was lost. The centuar sat down and smiled, "Well that is a predicament isn't it? Perhaps if we stay here, your friend who took the Felix will find us?"
"Maybe," said Helia, "I'm not so sure though. I guess we could wait a little while and see though."

Kim didnt have a clue where she was. The felix seemed to have worn off so she could count herself as.. very much lost. "Oh no" she sighed "Well as long as no centaurs come along i think ill be fine" she said clutching the pendant in her hand. It was growing hotter now.

[Helia Ollivander]

After a few minutes passed Helia stood, "Thank you sir, but I don't think I'm going to be able to find my friend, if you do, woudl you direct her how toget out of the forest please?"
"Yes. But, why wasn't your friend at the gathering with you?" asked the Centaur curiously. "Honestly, I'm not sure sir, perhaps she was scared. She has this necklace... we found it at the lake, you see. I knew it was bad, and I shouldn't have let her keep it but... I'm such an awful friend. I let Kim fall into danger. It's all my fault." she started crying softly.

"HELIA!!!" kim screamed hoping she'd hear her

[Helia Ollivander]

"All will work out child. Know though, you are not the light to save us. There is another for that, but... I think I heard someone scream." he said suddenly. "That's Kim!" said Helia. "I have to go help her. Thank you sir, thank you so much." she hadn't gotten his name, and she didn't care. She would get back to the forest eventually, now she had to find Kim... and she did, eventually.

"Kim, what are you doing up there?" she asked staring up in the tree.

She laughed "hi and i dont know.. I figured itd be safer up here considering i was lost" she said jumping down. "Its all good now though"

[Helia Ollivander]

"Well, the Felix Felicis is starting to wear off on me, but I think I can get us back to the castle before curfew, shall we?"

[Kim Rivers]

"Yeah. Good idea. Dont want to be lost in here without guidence" she said following helia

As she and Kim left the forest she thought, ~I've got to come back again... someday...~

"we found centaurs... what did they say when i decided to wander off on my own like a fool?"
