Term 1:Divination Lesson #6: Final Class

[Prof. Algernon Moncrieff]

Algernon nodded grimly. "Finally, I think you understand. 20 points to Ravenclaw." He turned to the rest of the class, addressing them as a whole. "Our Mr. Brently has come upon what is both the flaw in divination and the very heart of it. You'd do well to listen, he's got a real mind for it."

[Professor Lauretta Mericcini]

My God, I don't understand!!! L.C's thoughts screamed as she listened to Keifer and the Professors' conversation. "I am so lost" she whispered to no one in proticular.

Erika turned as Keifer entered the room. She waited for him to finish his conversation with the Professor then walked over and hugged him. "Hey Keify."

[Keifer Brently]

"Hey Angel" He smiled to her, hugging her back as he waiting now for the lesson to carry on.

Erika turned towards the professor. "So do you have a lesson planed? Or is this just like a goodbye class, where I'm probably going to end up bawling my eyes out?" She asked with a smirk. She had always preferred humor to sadness

Algernon chuckled. "I'm afraid I didn't have much of a plan... I just wanted to see if anyone had and questions they felt were unanswered before the end of the year..."

Erika sighed. "I don't have any... I will miss Hogwarts though. I think all of us will, no matter how much we hate to admit it... I mean, it's like a home away from home for alot of us... we've spent more time wandering these corridors than we have walking the halls of our own houses..." she trailed off with a sigh. Then rolled her eyes. "Great, now I'm getting all mushy, then I'll start crying, my eyeliner will be all over my face, and I'll be a total mess." she said with a sarcastic chuckle

Perry scrambled into the divination classroom thanking his lucky stars that this teacher wasn't too strict, at least that's what his sister had told him, but she could easily lie. He tried in vain to creep into the classroom the door squealed on it's hinges as it closed, emitting a soft curse Perry ran for a seat...

Erika heard the door squeak and turned as a boy dashed into the room and made a beeline for a seat. She smiled and waved at him. She walked over and held out her hand. "Hey there. I'm Erika Karew."

[perry]

Perry smiled warmly back and replied "hiya! I'm Perry, Perry Largon" He hesitated slightly before glasping Erika's hand and giving it a quick shake.
Not knowing what to say he used a typical muggle phrase and said "nice weather we're having eh?"
He felt slightly intimidated by this older girl and guessed she was probably in her final year at hogwarts, it always put him off when people were taller than him, but that was most people as he was very short for a boy of his age.

Erika laughed at the boys comment. "Yeah... I guess so... so what year are you?"

[perry]

Perry didn't much like being laughed at but thought it best to hold his tongue. "3rd year, why?" he asked suspiciously
"what you in?"

Kerry peered around when a boy blustered into the room, he was terribly late, she hoped the professor would deal with this scoundrel immediately, then she realised it was her little brother, she sighed trust him! she thought to herself. I'm sure he'll try his best to embaress me!. She turned round trying to give her concentration back to what the professor was saying.

[Prof. Algernon Moncrieff]

Algernon glanced toward the door as a small Gryffindor boy entered.

"Bit late, aren't we?" He asked, but he was smiling. "Well, it isn't as if we're doing much today, anyway. Take a seat."

[perry]

"Sorry sir!" grimaced Perry "the bus was late, err I mean," he sat down heavily into his seat grinning bashfully, he was always making a fool of himself but he didn't care
"I mean the Knight Bus was late...yeah!"
