Prof Addis walked into his empty classroom and sighed. No one was there yet, however he walked into it and set his small bag containing some objects he would get his class to propell at him. He smiled, knowing that he would have to teach them some defensive spells soon, and today was the day he would teach them.
He was going to teach the Protego, the shield charm. He smiled when he first used it, surrounding himself in the magical shield to repel his attackers spells. He also used it when a muggle with a muggle firearm threatened him and several other wizards, and some muggles. Leigh simply cast the spell, as he was the first one to be shot at, then deflected the bullets, so he found out that the spell could be used on muggle firearms.
He smiled when he heard his students arriving through the door. With his back to them, he set down the objects. A simple piece of stone, a muggle tennis ball and a heavy piece of titanium.

Keaira walked smiled primly as she sat at the desk behind Helia.
"Good day, Professor," she said, bowing her head and looking at Helia through a lidded gaze.

She turned around to look at the Gryffindor girl who she shared so many classes with, "I may be having a memory lapse, but I don't think I've met you yet. I'm Halo." she extended her hand with a smile.

Keaira smiled, a little surprised at the girl's forthcoming. "Hello," she said, shaking Halo's hand. "My name is Keaira. It's very nice to meet you."

Jerred walked into the room and saw the odd assortment of objects on Prof Addis's desk. He looked at them weirdly and wondered what they were.
He walked to a desk and saw Helia. "Hey." He said.

Lisa walked into the classroom eagerly, almost falling under the weight of her bag. Collapsing onto the nearest desk, she dropped her bag with a relieved sigh.

Lisa was just about to get out her books when she heard a voice. Realizing it was Helia, she grinned. "Not too bad, yourself?" She asked, rubbing some of the exhaustion from her eyes.

"Alright, everyone. Take out your wands." Leigh called the class. "Today we're going to learn the shield charm, Protego. Now, who knows what happens with this spell if a spell is used against it?"

Lisa sighed before whispering, "Nothing's wrong, there are just some girls in my dorm who can't seem to stop gossiping at night. It keeps me awake, unfortunately."
