"Phoenix core? My uncle says that Phoenix feather wands usually choose people that have ahad hard pasts." she said with a shrug. "Like... well, Voldemort had a phoenix wand, and so did Harry Potter, they both had hard pasts, but pulled through them." she noticed a couple of shift uncomftorably when she said the "V" word, but she just shrugged it off.

"Well, I say he did. I'm not saying I approve of what Voldemort did, but... He did become great because of his difficult history. And the wand chooses the wizard, so no one person or event could really sort a persons wand, but I suppose a series of events might've had an effect on it." she shrugged. "I don't know, I'm trying to get Uncle to teach me though."

"Anywo, back to wands." He pulled out his wand, which was made of galss. 'I got this baby over in America, some cheezy shop called Americustom wands or somethin'. Like it? It's not like a pheonix wand and stuff, but I think it's cool...kinda' fragile though."
