Thom shot towards Lauretta, seeing that she had the quaffle. It was time to stop relaxing, for it seemed there was potential that the tables had turned. He caught up with a bludger, and taking aim, pounded it towards the blonde Slytherin Lauretta with is bat.

Girty could not believe it when the quaffle was took off her. She then flew chasing after the quaffle as it passes form one to the other. Then when LC lightly passed it and Thom had aimed a bludger at her Girty took her chance. She seeped in and took the quaffle. She the dived down towards the grass to get away form the other chaser while trying to find another Hufflepuff. When she spotted it she moved back up and threw the quaffle at them in hope they would catch it.

Boggleworth lunged for Girty's throw just about able to then clutch it to his chest. He quickly flew onwards to the Hufflepuff goals spying another chaser nearby he threw it down for them to score...

Girty caught the quaffle off Bog and smiled. "Tar!" She flew closer to the posts. she went toward the left hoop but then noticed Bog was open. "What the heck! Bog watch out!" She threw the quaffle towards him so he could have a chance on goal.

Boggleworth had already span round to mark a slytherin chaser so hadn't anticipated the pass back. His broom not able to turn so quickly he could only watch as the quaffle plumeted to owards the ground "Girt you're closer grab it!"

"Curse you Boggleworth!" Girty shouted as she dived after the quaffle. There seemed to be no slytherin chaser around so she took her time. Lowering herself just underneath it she caught it in her arms. She flew right up next to Bog and looked at him with hard eyes. She picked up the quaffle and stuffed it in his chest. "Shoot!"

Boggleworth frowned at Girty "stop being a fool!" he roared "we need to win this! Now my being a gentleman means you shoot! Now!" he ordered thrusting the quaffle back into Girty's arms he then flew away down the other end of the pitch cheering on his teamates "come on! Huff rules!" He shouted keeping a wary eye out for the snitch at the same time.

Girty would have so wanted to turn and say something she may regret to Bog. she sighed deeply and flew slowly towards the right goal post. Carefully from close range she took a shot with the quaffle and spun around to hunt down a person to mark. Possession given to Slytherin.

Nick smiled darkly and folded his arms high across his chest, watching the scwabbling Hufflepuff chasers. 'Blundering idiots,' he said to Mort. 'I expect the reason Slytherin arn't attacking is because they're so bloody embarrassed to be near them!' he shouted the last part at Girty as she flew past. He laughed, hoping he had distracted her.

Adrienne smirked from her seat next to the boy. It was true, the Hufflepuffs were idiotic, the way they fought so uselessly. However, she hadn't said anything thus far as the Slytherin team was doing no better, lounging around on their brooms, hardly moving. She scowled, and looked at her fingernails, deciding they were much more interesting than the match, as Slytherin was bound to lose.
"Might as well stop your cheering," She said toward the boy, her eyes still downcast and focusing on her meticulously trimmed nails. "As you can see, our captain this year was hardly fit for the job. I don't even know why I bothered coming down to watch." She finally looked up at the boy, her dark eyes flashing with annoyance.

Mort laughed at what Nick had said. He did indeed hope it would distract he. He sighed and asked "What position you play in Quidditch?"

Nick nodded, giving a mean, crooked smile as he watched Girty. ‘Blundering buffoons.’ He said scathingly. It was then that he heard a female voice, and he turned to see a Slytherin girl looking just as idle and uninterested as him, inspecting her nails. ‘Well, I may as well wake them up,’ he replied. ‘The least they could do is knock one of those fat huffing badgers off their broomstick.’ He said sagely.
He spotted the snitch whiz past, the Hufflepuff chaser, Ashlee Jade Van Dort, shoot after it swiftly, her hair and robes billowing behind her. ‘Someone like her should have been a Ravenclaw. Hufflepuffs are ugly by nature.’ He said loudly.
He glanced at Mort. ‘I’m not a team player, I’m afraid.’ He said, shrugging. ‘Every man for himself in my world. Can’t be caught helping anyone.’ he laughed sourly.

"So why would you play on a team? I plan being chaser and making the Hufflepuffs lose. After this game when I play for Slytherin next year I am going head hunting!" Mort laughed but his smile faded when he saw Adrienne. "Oh Hello." he said to her looking at his shoes.

Nick cast him an irritated look. ‘I meant if I were on a team,’ he said impatiently. ‘I wouldn’t think I’d have to spell out my intentions to you.’ He stood up and moved up the stands to sit away from Mort and the girl. He walked along the top until he was stood next to one of the towers leading up into the sky boxes. The green and silver flag of his house whipped at him annoyingly. Sighing, Nick pulled a joint from his pocket along with a scratched silver lighter – a flame later he was dragging heavily on the sweet tobacco. He gave it an appreciative glance before looking back down towards the others. He ducked inside the flag and began to make his way up into the sky box to be alone.

Miranda had run up the stirs to try and get a better view of the match. She rushed to get a vie and leaned over the railing when Girty scored. "WOOOOOOO Girty!" she screamed at the top of her lungs as her friend put another goal past Slytherin. she grinned from ear to ear and started to mave again when she bumped into some one. When she looked up it was a Slytherin student. And an very annoyed looking one at that. "Sorry." She mumbled as she looked back to the pitch trying to hide her burning red face.
