The vast majority of the school had gathered for the first match of the season - emotions were high.. the excited atmosphere filling the air. Professor Wigglyfish muttered Sonorus under her breath and stood up at the front of the teacher stand.

'Welcome students.. teachers alike, to the first Hogwarts quidditch match of the season!' She said.. her voice booming out across the ground due to the spell. Cheers and yells for each team echoed everywhere. 'No point hanging about.. so here are the teams!!'

Blotches of red came zooming out as the Headmistress announced them all one by one. 'Theres Jobalia, Potter.. E'Drien, Liath... McEwan, Granger anddd Norton!' Cheers from the Gryffindor stands were amazingly loud, though the Slytherin jeers and boos could still be heard. 'Now for the Ravenclaw team... Grace, Darling, McFinnigan.. James and Ollivander!' The Ravenclaws yells echoed around just as loud as the blue blurs swerved all around the pitch. 'On with the game!' The Headmistress announced loudly whilst simultaneously releasing the all important golden snitch.[/font]

Helia smiled broadly as she flew across to her keeping place by the golden hoops at the Ravenclaw end of the pitch. All she could do now is wait and watch until the quaffle came her way.

Alana flew around the quidditch pitch, the wind whipping through her hair, looking for signs of the Snitch. It was the first game and Alana was determined to help her team win.

Hermione rose up in the air and saw a bludger coming towards her. She hit it to Carrie. "Carrie try to knock down Grace or McFinnigan." Hermione screamed to her.

Helia watched as the two Gryffindor beaters seemed to argue over the bludger, which didn't seem to be doing what either one of them wanted, 'I suppose that's part of what the bludger is supposed to do though, annoy everyone.' she turned her attention back to the Chasers.

jinesh had the quaffle in his hand......he dodged the chaser from ravenclaw and was rapidly progressing towards the three golden rings

Still circling the quidditch pitch Alana saw one of the Gryffindor chasers with the Quaffle headed straight towards the goal posts. "Come on Helia! Block it!" she thought.

Her eyes narrowed as she let s smirk slip across her lips, 'Bring it...' she thought as she readied herself to dive at any one of the goals if the need arose. She eyed Jinesh carefully, waiting to see what he would do next.

"try me baby" he said to helia as he drew closer to her.....saying that he dove towards the ground and performed the Inverte....he could see that helia was a little tensed....she was eyeing him carefully....this was the chance!....he passed the quaffle to keiron and keiron double passed it back to him!...helia was confused....jinesh took a shot!........

[Kandler Norton]

Kandler ran out onto the field. His eyes showed how apologetic he was that he was late for the game. It didn't take him long to get up into the air though. He gave a quick circle around the goal posts before he was ready to block the qauffles that would come his way.
