Girty rolled her eyes. "Famous last words" She pulled out her parchment and placed it one the desk. Trying to stop her hands from shaking she placed them under the table and took deep breaths.

Grace saw Girty's shaking hands and thought aloud, "right!" She picked up her books, put them in her bag and let only her parchment and quill and her desk. "Now if we'll both get into trouble, if it happens?" Grace sounded doubtful about trouble happening. She smiled cheerfully at Girty, "it'll be all right, you see!"

Professor Snape stalked to the very front of Boggleworth's desk and leaned over him menacingly.
"Tell me, Mr. Boggleworth, does your vocabulary include the definition of the word 'silence'? Because your veiled threat and pathetic attempt at humour seriously suggest that you've not the slightest idea. When I was speaking of showering, I was referring to my history as Hogwarts' Potions Master. Obviously I've overestimated your capacity to grasp allusion. Let me state it for you more clearly: your mistakes in this class will probably be fatal. Therefore, I seriously suggest that you avoid them. And while I am being blunt, let me further state that another peep out of you without my express permission will result directly in the loss of 30 points from Hufflepuff and detention for a month." he glared around the classroom until his eyes alighted upon Ms. Marks.
"You've no excuse for your lateness, Ms. Marks, but I am willing to overlook both your tardiness and your clumsiness just this once." His eyes burned with threats,"However, I have just informed the students who were only slightly less tardy than you that talking is not permitted in this classroom without my explicit permission. You have been warned." He strode back to the front of the room, swirling his robes dramatically.
"Open your textbooks to page 1." he snapped.

Girty looked over and smiled at Grace, it was a very nice gesture for her new friend. She started to wondering how long it would take the Professor to realize that neither had their textbooks in front of them.

Boggleworth wasn't shunned by those harsh words and so he plucked up his courage and said "I'm afraid sir that have misplaced my textbook as have the rest of my classmates it seems...I'm dreadfully sorry" apologised Boggleworth without a hint of an apology in the words which he said in a very sarcastic tone...

Grace smiled at Girty. He hadn't noticed. The Bogleworth piped up. "Bog," she whispered in his direction, "what are you doing?" She was sure this would get Girty and her into trouble aswell, first lesson!

Girty winced when Bog mentioned about the text books, her stomach turned and she felt like she was about to be sick. When Grace questioned his actions Girty turned and shot a glance at him hoping it would get the same effect but it seemed to be more of a pained look of 'i am about to die'

Walking silently down the hallway, Draven then stopped in front of a door. Placing his hand on the handle, he let out a small sigh, and then walked in.
As he looked around the room he saw that the majority were Hufflepuff, with just a few others from the other houses. Noticing that there was an empty seat near the back of the class, he walked towards it, placed his satchel down on the table, and sat in the seat, while still quietly gazing around.

Carrie raised an eyebrow at the boldness.. or perhaps the somewhat stupidity of the Hufflepuff beside her. It seemed to her that the Ancient Runes Professor wasn't someone to start mouthing off at. Grace seemed to agree as she whispered him a slight word of warning.
The Gryffindor pulled out her own textbook from her bag and placed it in between her and Bog at page one. 'We can share.' She added to the Professor with a blank expression. Carrie gave a slight roll of her eyes, before moving her gaze back to the front again.. only to hear the sound of the door being opened again. Oh, Snapes gonna love this. She thought to herself.

Grace saw what Carrie had done and the light bulb went *ting*. She whiped out her own text book and placed it between Girty and herself. "Well," Grace whispered to Girty, "now all we're either in the clear or-" gulp "-dead!"

Girty wiped the sweat of her hands onto her robes and managed a small smile at Grace. "I think this lesson is goging to last a long time." She whispered before looking at her watch and groaning. Only 3 minutes had passed since she last looked.

Keifer walked into the class and noticed it was more or less fun. He slid into the back and sat down. He had heard thes shouts from outside and hoped he wouldnt be noticed.

Molly watched Keifer enter the room sheepishly, but it did not settle her stomach that she was not the only one severely late. Twirling her fingers around her pigtails, Molly entered the room as quickly as she could, hoping to hide in Keifer's shadow so as not to be seen...

Girty turned around and saw Keifer walk in closely followed by Molly. She gave a small wave and a quick smile at her before quickly turning around hoping that Snape did not notice her moment lapse in concentration.

"Cleeeaaaarlyyy..." the Professor drawled, extremely displeased, "no one is prepared for this lesson." he glared at each student who was late and each student whose desk lacked a textbook quite pointedly, one by one, so each student felt exposed and ashamed. "I see point in wasting my time attempting to teach anything to those who show up so dismally unprepared. Read chapters 1 through 6 in your textbooks, SILENTLY, Ms. Hubbles, until the end of the period. That is, if you can manage to find your books." the last was said low and silky, and he raised an eyebrow at Grace Marks, pinning her with the intensity of his dark eyes.
He then dismissed them from his mind, listening to the rustling of their pages as he sat down at his desk, reviewing the reports sent to him weekly through owl post in sealed leather tubes. One could never know too much about current events, he mused.
