Miranda eyes Girty up.
"I suppose no one does on the odd days. But yes you seemed to act like you were better then me. To much like my parents." She closed her mouth noticing she was complain about people they did not know and the fact that they hardly knew here.

Girty smiled lightly at Miranda.
"That is OK Miranda...I mean Panda..erm" Girty broke off and rubbed the back of her neck. she dived into her pocket and pulled out a pack of Bertie Botts beans.
"Anyone want one. I find it is great way a to break the ice by seeing other peoples faces when they get a bad tasting bean."

Miranda smiled and took up Girtys offer. "yes please."
She stuck a figure into the book and dug around pulling out a single brown bean. She held it up to the sun and studied it carefully. With a deep breath she popped it into her mouth. After a few chews she swallowed it with a smile.
"I'm sure that flavor should not be in there, giving little children Brandy. Could make the alcoholics by the time they are five."
With a little glance at Thom she then tried to get the reaming parts of bean out of her teeth.

Thom, who had wandered off into the sunset for a moment, came back, looking exhausted.
He had totally ignored Miranda up until now and (because he can't be arsed to read up and Liz's RP with herself lol) he stuck out his hand, a little drunkly, and smiled. 'I'm Thom.' he said.

Miranda smiled now feeling much more confindednt..helped by the fact Thom was drunk so she would not be the only one to make a fool out of herself.
"Pleased to met you? I'm Panda."

(( Hehe mine was sexy though  )) Thom shook her hand. 'I'm Thom. Good to see you're making friends with James Bond here.' he winked, although it was a little lazily due to the drink in him. 'Would you like some?' he asked, producing the flask and hoping someone else would get drunk aside from him. |

Miranda looked shocked when he produced the flask in front of her.
"No thank you. And also i believe you have had enough." She leaned in and took the flask off him. Before looking to Girty.
"James Bond...How did that come about?"

Girty laughed as Miranda took the drink off Thom, before trying to think up and explanation to her question
"The name..well he asked me what it was and i said it was James Bond. It gave us something to joke about." She laughed and looked up at Thom.
