"So you want to continue on brooms eh?! Ok then!" shouted Mandrake after them. He grabbed his broom and mounted rising into the air. Because of two people on Girtys broom Mandrake flew up beside them. He didnt know if he should jinx Girty or the broom. He quickly decided. "Flamespiristalit!" He shouted his wand pointed at Girtys broom and it caught fire instantly.

When Mandrake flew up beside her Girty could not believe it. she grimaced when the boom was set up fire. She kept on going before turning around and sorting the flames out.
"Extinguisho!" The flames went out but the broom was losing hight and speed. But she knew she had to do something about Black. She turned around and pointed her wand at him.
"Conjunctivitis!" She screamed, knowing that it was used on dragons to impair there vision and also worked on humans.
Not even waiting to see if the spell worked she dropped down to the ground getting ready to run.

Mandrakes vision was impaired but he wasn't going to stop. He turned to dragon but his vision only improved a little. He could see the blurry images of Girty and Boggleworth about twenty feet ahead of him. He flapped his humongous wings and soared overhead. With a large roar he blew fire in a big circle around Girty, and an even bigger circle of fire around the first. He landed in front of the blurry people and changed back to human.
He looked back at them and could tell the spell was wearing off. Everything was a blurr but now there was color. He reached for his wand and pointed it at what he thought was Girty, the warm flames against his back. He gave a long breath and smiled, "You cant get rid of me that easy." he snarled. He laughed his maniacal laugh. He was angry.

Girty laughed nervously.
"I can see that. Just a quick question before you hurt me and Bog even more...what did he do to make you so angry? Or should i have kept my mouth shut and kept running."
Girty dropped Bog off her shoulders and stood up as straight as she could with the pain from her bleeding chest increasing with every second.

"Mr. Boggleworth cursed me awhile back in the Forbidden forest and he has a very big mouth, and as you can see it has gotten him and you into a lot of trouble. You should have left when you had the chance. Dont worry I wont kill you. But I will put you through hell and back." said Mandrake his vision steadily getting clearer. "Now what to do first. I shall heal you first. Its no point to duel already injured." He pointed his wand at her wound which mended instanly. "Now lets duel." Mandrake came face to face with her, and went down into a low bow. He came back up and looked at her.

Girty smiled at what Mandrake said as he was true about Bog talking alot but still he was her friend. When he suggested about a duel Girty's hand started to shake. She pulled out her wand and looked at the professor.She manged a little whimper.
"Maybe i should have gone to dulling club" she tried to laugh but nothing came out. Girty bowed at the professor and looked up at him and took a deep breath. She was ready to do some serious defending.

"Why do you think I ran the dueling club. I know curses that would make your hair curl.On the count of three. One....." Mandrake raised his wand, "Two......" he took a deep breath, "Three!" He pointed his wand at Girty shouting "Stupefy!" and Girty fell to the ground.

Girty fell on the floor. When she tried to stand up she was breathing hard. Pain shot across her back but still she knew she had to fight on. Girty stood up and pointed her wand at Mandrake.
"petrificus totalus!" as Black became still Girty seized her chance. "Wingardium leviosa"
Black went up into the air as Girty tried to keep her clam.

Mandrake felt his body go limp. He could twich just a little. He had learned long ago how to fight this spell. He focused all his mind on speaking and moving his wand he just barely moved his wand at girty while muttering Crucio! through clenched teeth.

When Girty heard the words float into her ears she panicked. She lost her concentration and moved as fast as she could out of the way. When she spun around her hair got int he way as she could not see Black. Her heart started to pounded harder and she raised her wand in the air whilst trying to get the hair out of her yes.

Mandrake was relieved he could move once more. He raised his wand at Girty making sure his spell hit her "Crucio!" he screamed full of rage. He laughed as he saw the pain in Girtys face.

Girty fell to her knees when the spell hit. She closed her eyes to try and fight back the pain.
"You do not really want to do this to me. The desire is not there. You have to mean it for the spell to work properly."
Girty tried with all her might to stay up straight but ended up falling forward in the pain.

"Oh yes I do. I want to hurt you. I want to here you scream in pain. How long will it take you to go insane? As long as my last victim? You better hope you dont go insane because I will probably have to kill you like the last person who felt my crucio. Tell me, does it hurt? Does it hurt bad? I hope it does." said Mandrake and started to let out a cold laugh.

Girty looked up at Black with a small smile.
"This hurts. It hurts a lot. My brian feels like it is on fire, i want to rip it out to save me from the pain. But then my heart...it still beats and it beats faster. It sounds a beat in my head.... it is making me want to hurt you." She let out a scream as if breaking through chins and tried to stand up. She held her wand straight out.
"Imperio!" She focused hard and wished in vain hope that if it worked he would stop his attack.

"You think you could possibly control me?" he asked laughing harder now. He felt the precense of someone else in his head. he thought to this new being "Lets see you try to control me from destroying your body." Mandrake pointed his wand at Girty and shouted "Sectusempra" and another large cut appeared on Girtys chest.
