She skinned the shrivel fig in a down-to-up motion working clockwise, then put both the shrivel fig and daisy root in her cauldron before slicing the caterpillar length-wise into seven pieces. She then crushed the rat spleen and mixed that with a splash of leech juice, which made a slightly gluey substance. Helia then proceeded to add the sliced caterpillar into her cauldron and poured the crushed rat spleen and leech juice mixture in after it. She started stirring this concotion once clockwise, twice counter clockwise; once clockwise, twice counter clockwise, until it started changing colors...

Having added the daisy roots, shrivelfig, sliced-up caterpillar (sliced geometrically, a habit she could never quit despite it wasting time), and rat spleen, Deb carefully tilted the vial containing the leech juice, making sure not to overdo it ('only a dash!' warned a note she had scribbled in her textbook margin in fourth year), stirred methodically, and smiled as the liquid turned acid green. Thank goodness for that, it had turned orange the first time she ever tried making it, and burned a hole in the thing she was supposed to be shrinking.

Professor Wigglyfish grinned as she watched the busy potion making of her students. 'Ten minutes remaining!' She shouted, before begginning to take a stroll around the class to catch a quick glimpse of everyone's cauldron.

The Professor's shout made Carrie jump slightly as she hurried to get her potion ready in time. Running her finger down the instructions list once again, she grinned to see that her potion had reached the correct "swirling, pale orange" stage. She didn't have much more to do, but knew that if she made a slight mistake the whole thing would be ruined. Potions was a favourite subject of Carrie's so she wanted to attempt to make an impression in it. Stirring her cauldron anti-clockwise three times, she carefully added a "dash of leech juice" and watched the potion sizzle slightly simulataneously.

The potion bubbled in her cauldron slightly, it turned neon yellow, and as she made her last counter clockwise stir it turned a bright acid green that had a slight glow to it. She smiled and put a sample of it into a glass vial and laid it on Professor Wigglyfish's desk, then sat back down and waited earnestly to find out who would win the Felix Felicis. She wanted desperatly to win it, but knew that there were other, more talented potion-makers in the class that deserved it more than she did.

Shooting a sideways glance at Helia, Deb walked up to put her own vial on the professor's desk. She wasn't one to have good luck (heh, how ironic), so her odds of winning this were pretty low. Ah well.

'Only a few minutes left! Remember theres Felix Felicis up for grabs!' The professor announced smiling at the students who were coming up to the front, knowing all too well that they hadn't forgotten about the prize.
[OOC: If your new, you can still join in, just pretend you were here the whole time!]

Jerred was sitting down the back of the class doing his Potions work. For some reason he wasn't in the mood for disrupting this class, thought it would have been fun to get away with a prank with Professor Wigglyfish so near him. Sighing, he continued his work and almost finished when he saw a Ravenclaw girl, named Deborah, walk to the front of the class and hand in her own vial. Jerred felt lowsy for his slowing poption, but he quickly realised that it was almost ready.

"DONE!'' Brian screamed as he finished the final step. He was exited and glad to have listened.

Jerred looked over and heard the excited scream of Chase. Sound's like an amused girl when she gets what she wants, Jerred snickered to himself. He was soon finishing his potion, collected it into a vial and handed it into Professor Wigglyfish. Chase was still standing there as Jerred left. Muttering under breath, "Girl." as he left Chase and the class.

"Professor, I think that was the last student that needed to turn in their potion. So... who won the felix felicis?" she asked, hoping not to sound too overly enthusiastic about it.

Professor Wigglyfish grinned at the eagerness of her student. 'Ok everyone! Times up!' The majority of the class had finished the potion, though there was the odd few that were frantically adding something to their potion before they bottled it up.
'Gather round everyone.' The class accumlated around the teachers desk, where there was a row of rosy red apples. Prof. Wigglyfish, having made the potion countless times before, could see who had created the correct tone of colour and texture before she had tested them. Though she thought a little demonstration was in order.
Quickly, she added three drops of each students potion to individual apples. The affects were varied, with most having the desired shrinking affect.. yet one somehow enlarging and another exploding - sending parts of apple flying across the classroom which the Professor stopped mid air with a simple non-verbal spell.
'5 points to Miss. Grace for brilliant implementation whose potion has respectively shrunk the apple.' She said with twinkling eyes, as she held up the vial of Felix Felicis. 'But I think the prize will have to go to Miss. Ollivander, rarely do I see such a smashing tone of colour - 10 points!' She handed Helia the vial, and chuckled at the envious and disappointed eyes of the ones beside her. 'Seems to be Ravenclaw's lucky day! And tell you what, as you all did so well - no homework this lesson!'
The class cheered up noticably at the mention of "no homework" and everyone returned to there desk chattering to pack up.

"Wicked..." she said carefully taking the vial in her hand, and quickly placing it in her robes. She then gathered up her htings and walked out of class, rather in a dreamlike state.
