(continuation of "Run like you've never run before" thread but feel free to join!) Gasping for breath Boggleworth ground to a halt at the end of the apparently secret tunnel. Peering through the eyes of the statue of a snake, Boggleworth saw the coast was clear and slipped out. He was close to the Hufflepuff common room now all he needed were a few belongings then he could be gone, in fact he'd even had his tatty old suitcase packed, maybe he'd had some kind of sixth sense, that today wasn't going to be his best day. Throughout his hair raising fleeing from the ministry official in his mind Henry had been telling him of the situation. so yeah, this guy he's pretty darn good, nearly too good, I only just escaped him and now he's back for more so it seems, yeah whispered Henry a little worriedly don't worry so! You outwitted him once with two minds we can easily beat him! Boggleworth now careered around a corner nearly colliding and impaling himself on a suit of armour whoops that would have killed! Striding for the entrance he began to whisper the password but then heard footfalls behind him, he span around...

(( Stop thwarting me, dammit =P ))
Vandesar wick had burned down now. His veins were no longer pumping with adrenaline, just fury, and he was very close to hurting the boy in ways that were not legal. It not longer felt like he was aiming to tie up loose ends for the ministry, only to satify himself with a perfect record of achievement - which meant subduing the boy. If only he could remember his name...
The Unspeakable had left the decoy a few corridors back, still in his magical state. He was beginning to feel increasingly unprofessional. Never before had he left such a trail of obvious destruction, and for the sake of a child too. Enough was enough. It was time to stop running. He bolted along the corridors, skidding to a hault a few meters away from the boy. He was half way climbing through a statue...
They stared at each other for a moments. Then Vandesar lowered his wand.

(ooc I shall continue to thwart thee!) But Boggleworth got there first shouting "Stupefy!" Not waiting to see his spell be blocked he dived into the Hufflepuff common room yelling for help "help me!" he shouted "Stop that freak!" The Hufflepuff common room was crowded full of students packing and laughing. A few sixth years looked around curiously but none lifted a finger to help. Boggleworth dived into their midst hoping to loose Vandesar still shouting "help!" at the top of his lungs

Vandesar waved his wand lazily, deflecting the attack. If the bog did not want to talk rationally, as he had intended, then he would have to take harsher steps.
The Hufflepuff common potrait had already swung shut, magically sealing itself. Vandesar shook his head knowingly. He was an ex-Auror. Magic locks couldn't keep him out. He waved his wand, and the door swung open after a black puff of smoke. With his wand raised, Vandesar entered the common room. Students were spread out thinly, all staring at either him or the left set of stairs. He narrowed his eyes, moving forward and running up them. He entered the first room he came too. Before him stood the boy - the real boy this time.
"Now..." he breathed heavily. "Why would a simple little Hufflepuff feel the need to run unless he knew me, hum?" Vandesar walked slowly towards him. He flicked his wand, and the boy was suddenly bound with sharp wires.
(( If you MUST escape, don't humiliate me =P ))

Boggleworth glared at Vandesar trying desperately to think of way out of this one, none came but he decided to keep talking, something he was thankfully very good at. "Well you've got to admit I put up a good fight!" he laughed cheerfully "but who you are I haven't the foggiest, honestly I don't know you! I just knew from the way...you moved that you were a ministry official is all, thought I'd test your reflexes, I'm actually being paid by the ministry itself to test you!" he blabbed, but he still couldn't think of a way out, a spell? quick, vite! just keep him talking maybe some Hufflepuffs will come and help

Girty had gone back to the castle after Bog ran out with a strange man chasing him. She decide to head back to the common room and see if she would turn up. As she came up the corridor she saw a broken statue. "Children these days. No respect for the beauty of art." She placed the head of the statue in her bag, for evidence to complain. Girty contained to walk up the to the portrait. She was about to happily shout out the password when she noticed it was hanging strangely. As she pushed it open in side she saw that strange man. Her eyes grew wide and anger grew inside. "Get lost you strange...old....evil.....muffin!" She swung her bag and it hit his head with a load bang. As she pulled it back she watched the man fall on the floor.

Boggleworth lept over to Girty and gave her a quick strong hug "ah Girt! My hero! Thanks! I'm going to have to, go away for a bit, this guy's gonna be after me and the best thing you can do to help is alert the Guild don't just follow me, ok?" he then darted away thanking his lucky stars, he quickly grabbed his fit to bursting suitcase from his dorm, clambering back down the stairs he went to the portrait and shouted "have a great summer everyone!" He then ducked out of portrait quickly walking away his broom under one arm and his bulging suitcase under the other.

Girty stood still. She watched Bog disappear and looked around the room. Everyone had ran away in shook. She was left standing with her school bag, which had a head of a statue in it and a unconscious man on the floor. As her first concern had gone. She then tried to leave the room but guilt filled her. crouching by the strange man she lifted him up and placed him on the sofa. After pulling out her wand she cleaned up the blood and conjured up an ice pack and placed it on the bump. Girty then moved to the other side of the common room and sat on the sofa, watching her patient and also thinking about what Bog had said.

(( You two really have no respect, do you?! xD He's meant to be a top notch wizard - he's like Mr Bean when you two are around!!! And how did Bog escape his wires, and how did Girty LIFT a built man? ))
Vandesar groaned. He had heard someone coming up behind him, but he had expected it to be a puzzled student coming to see what all the fuss was about - not someone intending to bash him over the head with something extremely heavy and painful. His head throbbed angrily at him, and opening his eyes, he found himself slummed on a sofa - a Hufflepuff girl sitting opposite him. "You have no idea what you have just done, have you?" he said softly, yet it was quite clear there was rage bubbling beneath his calm surface. "Not only have you let a criminal escape me - you have also assulted a ministry official." he said in a tone of mock congratulations. "Have anything to declare...?"

(I did not say she easily lifted him up did i hahaha, and never underestimate the power of Girty!)
Girty watched the man wake up. Thank God i have not killed him she thought but then his look was not the most kindest. "How can he be a criminal? He is in Hufflepuff for God shake. and also i did not know you where a ministry official. Otherwise i would have hit you harder." She smiled at him but wondered how long his patients would last. "But no I have nothing to say other then to keep that ice pack on your head otherwise you will get a nasty bump."

Vandesar stood up, pulling the ice pack from his head and slamming it against the nearest wall. Ice shattered out of it, spraying the floor, causing the room to become silent once more. 'You have no idea, girl.' he stepped closer to her, his wand pointed under her chin. 'If you ever get in my way again, there will be consqeunces that have nothing to do with detentions or exclusion. You will be arrested and sent to Azkaban. Do you understand what I'm saying?' he asked seriously, unable to believe a mere Hufflepuff would be so disrespectful to someone like him. 'You make me laugh,' he said. 'You have no reason to hate the ministry - yet you follow the trend of it.'
He lowered his wand. 'When I find him - you'll never see him again.'
He pushed her chest with his elbow, knocking her out of the way against the wall. He gave her a stoney glance as he walked out of the door, determined to find that boy.

Girty sat in her chair. She watched the man leave and found it hard to keep a straight face. Admittedly she felt bad and scared when he came with his wand but she could not help but laugh it was in her nature. Happily she stood up giggling to herself and went to the window. She ran her hand through her hair and smiled. She did not hate the ministry she just wanted some fun and anyway i little bit of fun can not harm anyone.... can it.

Grace walked into the common room and stared at the portrait. "Wha-?" she looked around the common room and spotted Girty. "Wha-? What happened here?" she asked, flabbergasted. "It looks like someone's run a demolition truck through there."

Girty spun around and saw Grace. "It has." she laughed. "I think we have seen the last of your lover boy for a bit. He ran off with a suitcase saying don't follow me." Girty sighed and walked toward her bag. With all her strength she picked it up and placed it on the sofa. "Want a head of a statue?" She laughed as she picked up the lump of stone.

Grace frowned, "and you listened to him!?" She giggled at sat next to Girty's bag. She looked puzzled at the stone, "what's that about?"
