Girty smiled. "Yes...my owl" she laughed and took more food of the dishes in the middle. "Do I need any special gear. bike helmet, fire proof overalls?" She placed the address safely in her pocket and looked up at the teachers table where the house cup was sitting.

"Nothing that will help you," he laughed, also shovelling more food onto his plate. With a mouthful of stuffing he growled. "That cup can be the headlamp," he said, eyeing it darkly.

Girty turned to look at him. "What steal the house cup. I bet you would not be able to get half way up the hall before getting caught." she laughed and ate some more chips, while looking back up the walk way wondering if it would be possible.

"Well I wouldn't make it that obvious!" he said indignantly. "It's a shame you can't apparate inside Hogwarts, I could have nabbed it and been off..." he rested his chin on his hand, watching the cup thoughtfully. "Maybe a pollyjuice potions... I could pretend to be a teacher." he perked up, suddenly feeling a lot more serious about the prosepct of stealing it.

A long sigh escaped from the lips of Miss Granger as her fingers tapped impatiently upon the wooden table.
Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap...
The noise simply went on and on, echoing throughout the quiet chatters of fellow Gryffindor students. Third place? Goodness that was just... a bit depressing really. Goodness second wouldn't have been bad, but third? Hermione gave a sigh rolling her eyes at this thought. Why get competive over a House Cup when the first thing you should be focused on is your grades? Well at least that's what she focused on, grades I mean.
Ha, what a shock it would cause if Miss Granger wasn't all about grades! She was the brightest witch of her age, and for pete sake, a muggle born! That mix certainly already did cause a shock!
Blinking a few times, the bushy-haired girl reached foreword, piling a small amount of food on her plate and began taking small bites of the portion.
Well, maybe next year the Gryffindors would do better...
"Congratulations." the brown-eyed girl nodded towards the Hufflepuff table with a small smile on her face.

Girty smiled at the thought Thom was putting into it put then heard a voice. She spun round on the bench to see a Gryffindor talking to her. "Hello there." She said with a smile. "Congratulations you say." Girty let out a big sigh. "I suppose we should be happy with 2nd but still we were so close. Dam those smug Ranvenclaws."
She laughed and looked at her fellow witch.

"Better then third..." mumbled Miss Granger, the smile fading away.
"But who cares about placing on a House Cup, Grades are much, much. MUCH, more important." nodded the intelligent girl as her fingers began tapping on the table once again.
"I mean goodness! What if people didn't focus on their grdes? What if they just focused on the cup? We're all be out of the school in flash!" she gasped, eyes wide with fear.
Always leave it to Hermione to give a small sermon like so.

Thom gazed at Hermione lazily. "It would have been better for everyone if we'd won it." he said. "I'm not sure if Gryffindor or Slytherin even cared." He looked back at the cup. "What do you reckon anyway - got an idea of how to get that cup? In theory, I mean..."

Girty lazily looked over at Thom. With small smile. "Your not serious are you?" She then looked back to Hermione. "Well i go to lesson to learn and pick up points. You house is like your family. I respect it and if it and everyone in it is happy I'm happy." She smiled and leaned over for a drink. "But i never expect much grades wise. Not the brightest spark around."

Blink.
//Goodness why is everyone obsessing over this cup?//
An irritated look crossed the 5th year's face and her tapping grew even rapider. Well one question Hermione, why are you obsessing over this cup? Well then again there was something called house pride, right?
The girl blinked once again before answering Thom's question.
"Well isn't it obvious? Get good grades, pay attention in class and the Proffesors will give you more house points. It seems like I was the only one being focused in class...well at least in my house." her voice had an irritated tone to it as she spoke.
ooc;; My creativity is dead xD

Girty laughed joyfully. She could see that the idea and obsession with the house cup had annoyed Hermione. "Sorry we are very one topic minded. The title was robbed away form us cruelly." she laughed again and looked around the hall. "So what lessons are you looking forward to attending next year?" She asked with a random out burst trying to get a conversation going.
(In my case it is the situation of what creativeness hahaha. Mine must have died years ago.)

Thom took a long dreg of pumpkin juice. "I think we have to give our professor more credit than that... I think they'd notice if I ran off with it out the doors. And how much must it weigh? No, I'd never do it... I expect there are spells on it."

Lisa sat at the Gryffindor table, the smallest of pouts on her face. They hadn't placed high, that was for certain- In fact, they were ranked as low as Slytherin looking at it logically, down by what? Nearly five hundred points? She made a face and poured herself some pumpkin juice, trying to ignore the voice in her head that said if she hadn't skipped so many classes, she could've earned more points.
Her ability to ignore that little voice in her head was why she ended up in most of the insane situations she often did.
The year had proved to be interesting, and she had changed over the months - Mentally and physically, she thought while blinking her purple eyes. Smiling slightly to herself, pushed her fork around her plate, reminding herself that it was only a few months before she'd be back again.
