Grace's eyes watered and tears fell onto her soft cheeks. She was laughing so hard. She slumped next to Keifer and sighed. "I enjoy laughing."

Grace pushed Keifer gently and giggled, "stop it already, my insides hurt!" She cluched her stomach and swayed from left to right.

Grace laughed and gasped ... then sighed. "Good point," she chuckled. She sighed again and pushed herself up. She stood and smiled down at Keifer. "yeah, I have no idea why that was funny."

Grace shook her head and sat back on her chair. She realized she had been very silly by laughing. She looked around the library, it was mostly empty, and there would be no one to overhear them. She leaned close to Keifer, arms between her chest and her legs and whispered, "what happened between you and Jessie?"

"Well," she whispered, her face still close to his, "that day at the lake he gave the impression of missing you and I just assumed the two of you were once together-" she razed her hands, defensively, and pulled away "-but I could be wrong?"

Keifer looked at her "We went out for about two years... No big deal" he looked out of the nearby window "But... circumstances made us split up"

Grace frowned. She patted his shoulder again, "I'm sorry!" she looked out the window as well. She didn't know what else to say.
